Read and answer the following questions. Provide a thoughtful explanation. Do NOT just put the answer in your blog. You need to explain how you arrived at your solution. Your grade will be based on a 5-point rubric which was explained in class. Please post on your blog page under the "articles" section. Comment ONLY if you have questions on how to access the blog or run into trouble. Remember to check "request for publishing" or I do not see it before selecting save. Good Luck, Have Fun & Happy Blogging!
YOUR HOMEWORK:
Tickets at an amusment park cost $42.00 for adults. Junior tickets (for anyone under 48 inches) cost $27.00. Starlight tickets (after 5:00pm) go for $32.00 each.
The Hill family: Bill & Jill and their kids Bill, Jr. & Lill (both over 48 inches) went to the amusement park. They bought Starlight tickets. How much money did they save buying Starlight tickets instead of buying adult tickets?
