The Jamestown Tech Department is investigating the use of blogs for educational purposes. For instance, students who are reading books for the Battle of the Books could post their comments and other students could read and reply. Another teacher would like to use a blog to enable her students to react to examples of student writing. The blog site we are considering does have a control in place in which teachers are able to read comments before they are posted. So what do you think--blogs yes or no? Let me know!
