Do: • Do consider your blog part of our classroom space. Do your best work.
•Write respectfully and do not be rude. Blogs are about ideas. You can agree or disagree with the idea, not the person.
• Do consider how your comments will affect the blogger.
• Strive to back your opinions up with facts.
• If you come across anything online that makes you feel uncomfortable or afraid, minimize your screen immediately and report it to your teacher.
• Ask permission to use any files that were created and owned by others.
Do Not: • Do not post or give out any personal information including your name, passwords, address or phone number.
• Do not post anything that you would not want your family, your teachers or your friends to read.
• Do not believe everything you read online. You need to make a judgment about whether or not it is true.
