Welcome to your first blog assignment. Why are we doing this you might ask? Well, because we are living in the digital age, and you are considered digital learners. However, we still need to be able to convey our thoughts and opinions, only now we can do that using a digital medium.
Each week for the next 5 weeks we will have a new topic. You will be responsible for 2 things each week.
1. Complete the assignment that is posted every week. This will be anything from writing a familiar story from a different point of view to creating an original paragraph using a list of vocabulary words.
2. You must then return to the blog and comment on at least 2 other students work. REMEMBER! This is meant to be constructive not abusive. Improper, crude, or inappropriate comments will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action.
Also, as an extra incentive, there will be 5 extra credit points awarded to one student every week. Each week there will be a famous quote written in one of the articles. The first person to find the author and the name of the literary work and post the answer will be awarded the points. Your entries are time stamped so there should not be an issue over who posted first.
