Welcome to our first book talk. I asked you find an historical fiction book based on a war to read for your free reading book. For your first entry, I would like you to tell us the name of your book, the author, which war it is based on, and why you chose this particular book (did someone recommend it, the cover...).

As always, your blog must be in complete sentences. Remember to reference the rubric before you submit your post. You must also respond to one peer during the week.

Happy blogging!

Peer Responses

We have many great responses about what we are reading. Please read through several of you peers' responses and write a response to two of them. Please remember to address your response to the name of the person you are responding to. Also, NO LAST NAMES. You can look over the rubric for your responses on edlinde.

Main Characters

Article posted October 30, 2006 at 01:15 PM GMT • Reads 32

You should be almost done reading your books by now. I would like to know about your characters. Please start by telling me who your narrator is and what point of view the story is told in. Tell me something about the main character. Your last line should compare or contrast the differences in your character to Tim in My Brother Sam is Dead. In order for this entry to receive full credit, your response needs to be at least four complete sentences long.
