Monkey Games

Article posted January 7, 2008 at 03:29 PM GMT0 • Reads 140

When I followed the tutorial to learn Scratch I found it easy because once you decided what game you were making, all you had to do was follow the commands.

When we created created the Monkey Game in Scratch, I liked doing it that was because I felt successful about the outcome because I knew that I wasn't making any mistakes because I followed the tutorial.

When you teach Scratch to the sixth graders, you should teach them the same way that you taught us but you should maybe teach them a different game so you they can try something new.

In Scratch, I feel that I can make the game whatever I want and the characters can be my own if I want them to be. I can also play my game to figure things out when I get stuck.

Other people might enjoy this because they enjoy challenges and it can be difficult at times. They also might like it because it's fun to create games of your own.

The one thing in Scratch that I wish I could do is whenever I get stuck, there should be a box that I can type my problem in and then Scratch will bring me to where I have to be.

Review

Article posted January 15, 2008 at 03:32 PM GMT0 • Reads 82

I read "The Boy With 12 Toes". If I was the king, I would probably let the woman live to tell me another story because this one was pretty.

I believe that this story is original because I don't think that I have ever heard any stories like it before.

The conflict is that the boy have 12 fingers and toes. There is a slight interest, but there isn't any suspense or tension. But, the story shouldn't be changed.

The talking bear was unrealistic, and he didn't add much to the story; I don't think that he was a very important character.

Everything was fine in the story, word-wise anyway.

The story doesn't have much of a unique culture. It could have taken place anywhere.

I think that there should be a lot more insight into the culture of the setting.

I think that the ending needs improvement because it was just like any other tale. The ending was unoriginal.

The moral of the story is that no matter what problems or differences you might have, you should be accepted no matter what.

It was good because it had everything a good story should have.
