Hi my name is Adam. I am eight years old. I like soccer and basketball. I have a mom, dad, two sisters, and one brother. My favorite subjects are math, reading, spelling, and science. I also like riding my bike. My favorite video games are Scar Face, Grand Theft Auto. My favorite treats are ice cream, candy.

Changing desks

Every three weeks we change desks in room 12. The first thing we do is take every thing in our desks. Then we find a place put to our stuff. Then our teacher puts something called point slips in his can and he draws. Where the point slips are put that’s where you sit.



I really like changing desks. I think it is fun to desks, but I feel worried about it because you might sit by someone you don’t like.

The haunted house

Once upon a time there was a kid named Adam and his friend named William and they weren’t scared of nothing. It was Halloween night. Adam and William were stealing little kids Halloween candy when this guy pushed Adam to the ground. Then William pushed the guy to the ground. Then they started to kick him. They left him there. He was out cold for an hour. His brother found him on the street. He almost got ran over. He got off the street. His brother asks him what happened he said nothing his brother slapped him the face. Then he starts to cry. That’s when he started to tell him. These kids said, “You guys think you’re scared of nothing. Go to that house right there”. ”All right” said Adam “wait" said William. “Is that a haunted house?” said William. Yes, I thought you guys weren’t scared of nothing. Ok!! Then their friend Colton came in the conversation. He said. “get it over it ok”!! So they went in the house. They did different things to pass the time. Adam took a nap. William played ping-pong with Colton. Adam heard something whispering "Die". He went to William and Colton. Adam said "did you guys hear that”. They said yes. Then they it heard again. Adam remembered that he had brought his guns with him. Then they saw it. It looks like it was burned to death.

When I went to Virginia

It was a warm sunny day. My family is going to Virginia. My dad’s brother lives there. We are going to visit him. My dad and mom got to go in the first class place. I wanted to go to the first class place. But my mom only bought two tickets for the first class place. I also liked the other place because there was a T. V. on the back of each seat. I fell asleep half of the plane trip. It was a redeye flight. My sister was crying too much.



When we got there my uncle drove us to his house. I really liked his house. His house was bigger than ours. Our uncle drove us to see The White House. I saw the Washington Monument. It was so tall.



Then we ate lunch at a nice restaurant. I ate spaghetti and meat balls. Then we went back to the house.



The next day we when to a museum of space. It was so cool.



The next day it was time to go back to Seattle.

I hugged my uncle and said “good bye”. He drove us to the airport. As I sat down at my seat I will never forget when I went to Virginia.

I’m thankful for my family and friends. Another thing I’m thankful for is video games. The third thing I’m thankful for is a roof over my head. The last thing I’m thankful is my teacher.

Hi my name is Adam the turkey. I live in Israel. I love it there because I can gobble at people so they won’t make me for dinner.



One day one hunter was trying to choke me. So he could make me for dinner. I ran like crazy but I couldn’t run away from that freak until I went under a farmer’s fence. Then the hunter tried to shoot me. I ducked for my life. He missed! I was so relieved that he missed.



I went to the pen where all the turkeys lived. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my long lost brother. Then he saw me. I said, “Let’s get out of here”. My brother said “No” I said “Why not”. Then my brother said “Never mind let’s get out of here”. Then the hunter came back. He shot my brother. Then I jumped in the way. Then I felt a strong pain in one of my legs. I fell to the ground with a bang. Then one of my best friends named William came out of nowhere. He bit the hunter in the face and the hunter ran away. I couldn’t believe that one of my friends saved my life.

The Soccer Tournament

I was on a soccer team and my team was in a soccer tournament. My team was wining 1- 2.I got the ball and passed it to my teammate named Holden. Then Holden shot the ball and he scored a goal. Everyone cheered. Now the game was1-3. Then the other team started to play hard and they scored a goal. Now the game was 3-2.Then I got a good pass and I kick the ball and, it hit the goalpost everyone though I scored but I didn’t. Then the goalkeeper made a mistake and the other team scored. Now the game was tied. We had to play rough to win or we are out of the tournament. I got a very good pass and I kicked it. I scored. We won the game!!!!



The next team we are playing was the Blue Bombers. There were tough but we managed. I scored the first goal. They tied it. The game ended in a tie. We went to a P. K. shootout. I was up first. I made the shot. Then Holden was up. He missed it. Then one of the blue bombers players missed it. Then my friend named David was up. It was all on him to make it. It hit the goalpost. Then out of nowhere David scored. All us cheered, we ran up to him. We are in the semifinals.



We are playing a team called F.C Shoreline they gave us a hard game to play. At the second half it was 6-2. We were losing badly. At the third minute of the beginning of the second half I scored a goal now it was 6-3 we need three more goals to tie the game or we need four more goals to win the game maybe. Then in a flash F.C Shoreline scored a goal. We need four goals to score and we have to stop them from scoring a goal or goals. I pass it to my teammate named Marco, he shot it but he missed it barely though. I got a nice pass I shot it. I scored=http:// Now it is 7-4. Then one of the players pushed me to the ground. The ref came and gave him a red card and, he pushed the ref to the ground and started punching the ref. We all started to hold him back. He gave the ref a big huge bruise on his face. It looks like the ref has a black eye. That guy wouldn’t play even if they win. I got a P. K shot. “I need to score this shot to help my team win the game,” I kept thinking about it. Then the ref told me to shoot the ball already. I took the shot. I missed it. Then I got the ball again. I shot it. I scored!! We need two more goals to go and stop them from scoring. We only have 10 minutes to go until the end of the game. I need to score two more goals to tie the game. I got the ball then I passed it to Holden, he scored!!! It was a beauty, great goal. Then I shot the ball and scored and we tied the game. Marco had the ball and passed it to William. Then William loses the ball, then he gets the ball back and shoots the ball, he scored!! We took the lead. The score was 7-8. Then I passed it to Marco and he shoots it, he scored! We are winning by two goals now. I never thought that we would win the game.



It is the final game in the tournament. We are playing Crossfire. Marco gets the in the third minute, he shoots the ball, he scores, we run up to him. In the last minute of the second half I score. We won the game 2-0. I said “bye” To everyone. I will never forget the tournament.

What’s on my mind is the field trip that is coming up soon. We are going with room nine to the Children’s Theater.



The other thing that’s on my mind is what we are doing in music today. I hope we are playing Musical Chairs. It is a game.

Eid

I celebrate Eid. Muslim people only celebrate the holiday. We wake up in the morning to get ready. We wore new clothes. This year I wore a suit. We went to pray the Eid prayer and then we saw uncles and my aunts and my brother saw a lot of his friends there. Then we went to Arena Sports, a indoor soccer complex, and we played soccer and we went on a inflatable. It was a special day and we got a lot of money too. We were about to go to family fun center but then we just went home.

Our teacher bought a laptop called the xo laptop. He bought one for an another kid around the world.



The xo is green and white, you can take pictures and videos, you can make up music, it has paint. It also has games.



I really like the laptop. It is cool.

The Good Luck and The Bad Luck

One of my experiences with bad luck is my basketball team lost six straight games in a row. We were a good team but the teams we were playing were better than us.



Good Luck

One of my experiences was when I was seven and it was summer. There a big ditch in the ground, it was about four feet deep. I wasn’t looking where I was going and I fell but my brother caught me in time.



I really don’t know if good luck and bad is true.

On my mind

The other thing that on my mind is when I am going to get my new shoes. I am getting Air Force shoes.

What are my plans for spring break

My plans for spring break are to go to the Big Apple or New York City. I am going to see my grandfather. I am also going to see my uncle too.



I might just stay home and play video games I am not sure. We might go to the Madison Square Garden. If we go to New York City.





The other thing that I am going to do over the break is go to my grandma’s house. I might also go to my soccer game on Saturday. We are in the quarter-finals. If we lose we are out of the tournament.

My Basketball Team

My basketball team isn’t that good. We only won one game. The other team that we play beats us by like 30 points and my team always scores like 10 points. I know that is crazy but I just had to deal with it. There were two people that should have been on another team. They killed us. First of all there was this one guy that should have passed the ball. He just went to the hoop and just shot it. He always air-balled all his shots. He only scored like one shot every four games. I think he only scored six points. The other guy he did pass the ball but he passes at the wrong time. What I mean is that when he has an open shot he passes the ball. When he is guarded he shoots and he gets rejected or gets blocked!!!! The rest of us are good. We need to learn how to pass. Everyone except me doesn’t pass the ball. All I have to say is that we aren't very good!!!

My Sisters

My sisters are named Tahira and Kausar. Tahira is four years old and Kausar is two years old. Kausar is so cute. They always want to go on the computer and play dress up games. The fight some times. They fight over the computer. I don’t know why they fight. They really like me. Tahira tells me that I am her friend. Kausar hugs me when I come home from school. I like them a lot. Tahira always want to go where I ever go. She wants to go to my school.

W.A.S.L

We are taking the W.A.S.L. My thoughts of the W.A.S.L was it was easy. It was kind of hard. There was like one hard question.



Reading part of the WASL

The Reading WASL part was easy. The first part was kind of easy. There were a lot easy questions. Our teacher put up a sign that said Go Away We Are Testing.



Part Two of the Reading

Part Two of the WASL was the one that was easy. That was my favorite part of the WASL.



Snacks

We had breaks and we got snacks. The snacks were so good. We had crackers that were pizza flavored.

Homework

We don’t have homework. Yeah that rocks. We don’t have it for a week.



Math

The math goes to about Friday. I really liked the math. I like it because it is one of my favorite subjects. The first and the second part of the math you can use calculators and other stuff

My weekend

My weekend was good. On Saturday I didn’t go anywhere. I didn’t go anywhere because my dad was sick. I only went to the mall with my mom.



On Sunday I played the final game of my soccer tournament. It was the final game. My team won 9-8. We won by one goal in the last few minutes.

Earth Day

Earth day is a day when we help the earth. My school writes and draws pictures on a grocery bag. We get the bags from Safeway, that’s a grocery store. My school has done this for fifteen years now. We got to go to Safeway and give them the bags that my school made. Earth day is on April 22, 2008. Other elementary schools draw bags. If you pollute the world will get dirty. So don’t litter or pollute. If you see a can and other stuff, pick it up. A little stuff can add up to a lot of stuff. Do it for the earth.

My brother

My brother is named Mohamed. He is really cool. I like playing with him. We like playing jokes with everybody in the neighborhood. We play soccer together all the time. He tells about the bad stuff you should not do and the good stuff you should do. He tells me stuff like don’t litter and other stuff. In the summer we would always have a water gun fight with everybody. I really like my brother.

My weekend plans are to stay home on the end of Friday. I might go to my neighbor’s house. I might just stay home and play video games.



On Saturday I will go shopping with my mom and dad. I might get a new video game. I am not sure. I will also go to my cousin’s house. I like their house because they have a hot tub and a lot of video games. They have a Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, P.S. 2, P.S3 and a game cube.

My weekend plans are to go to the All Nations Cup. I am in it. They have a youth game that I’ll play in. There are also pickup games. That means that somebody just starts a game then more people come and play.

My blog

Hi I am Adam. When I first got my blog I was eight years old. I wrote my first story in October. Then I started to write more and more. I have written more than 20 articles. I think I have about 31 articles. 

 

My favorite article is The Soccer Tournament. It is my favorite because soccer is my favorite sport. 

 

 

I think I will keep my blog though the summer. I might keep it next year too. I like other blogs. I really like Write On! 5^th grade, MN. I really like the fish and turtle stuff.
