Hi my name is William. I’m 9 years old. I like to play baseball. My favorite school subjects are math, science, spelling and computers. I have two pets, a cat and a hamster. Their names are Hammy and J.J. My favorite home subject is playing my Xbox. I play Halo 2. I want a pet husky. I want to go back to Oregon. I love to go to the driving range with my dad. My favorite color is blue. I have a brother name Johnnie. He is 11. My favorite TV show is wrestling and the Simpson’s. My favorite computer game is Pawn. Do you like computer, I do.

Desk

Every three weeks we change desks in room 12. The first thing we do is we draw names to see which desk you sit at.



I like to change desks because it’s nice to get to know other people. If someone’s desk is messy tell them that they have a messy desk and help them clean it and when it’s clean go have some fun with your partner when you know them better.

The best field trip I’ve ever taken was to the aquarium. I liked it because I got to see sharks and whales and all kinds of other thing there.



My weekend plans are getting my costume and maybe some basketball shoes because last time I didn’t get them and I might see my cousin

The Story of Some Men

Once there were five men. Their names where Holden, William, Adam, Evan, and Colton. They lived together. They weren’t afraid of anything. Holden and William were not asleep. All the others were. Then we heard a knock on the door. We went down stairs. When we opened the door we ran because there was a guy with a bloody axe. We woke up the guys. We told them what had happened. There was a knock on our door. We didn’t open. We heard a thud he threw the axe at the door. Adam opened it. He had bad teeth. Adam screamed to death and closed the door. He said, “Let’s get out of here”. I said, "We can’t he’s blocking the door. Evan, William remember your paintball guns. Holden you have a bb gun. This is the plan we shoot him in the head and run. We will get a ride from Lillie, ok? Let’s go”.



Ten minutes later. "We did it Lillie, lets go. Where are we going. I don’t know where to go. Holden where do you want to go?” “Boston", he said. “Ok. Lillie take us to Boston. We will be there by dawn". At dawn we went to the store. It was silent at first. We looked around we looked every where. We got some paintball guns and bb guns. “Where do we go? All the motels are taken. We need to go in the woods for tonight ok. Someone guard tonight."



The next morning we saw him again. We ran until we went to a stop because we were at an edge. Lillie jumped off because she was scared. But she had a parachute. Then she landed in the water and took it off.

When I Got My Xbox

When I was home and I was four I asked my dad if we could get an Xbox. He said “Let’s ask your brother”. I said “I’ll go ask him”. I asked him. He said ok. So we went to game crazy to get an Xbox. It cost 175 dollars. My dad got it and bought some games. When we got home we set it up.



Two days later we got halo two. I played it with my brother. We weren’t so good. But we tried to play. Later on we got more games like Halo 2, mx unleashed, mx vs. atv unleashed. We played it for a year. We got different games. We got Star Wars Battlefront 2 and 1. And then I got Lego Star Wars 1.



After my brother got graduated we got Lego star wars 2. My mom bought it for him at Target. The game we play most is Lego Star Wars 2. That’s why we almost beat the game. I want Call of Duty 3 or Call of Duty 2.

The Turkey Escape

“Chuck you’re home. Where have you been?” “Mom do you know tomorrow’s Thanksgiving and we are going to get hunted down? What will we do mom, I’m scared”. “We all are right." “Now where will we go?” “First the family’s thinking about escaping this barn tonight”. “What if I sleep in and I don’t want to wake up”? “At nine o’clock we will go quietly”.



NINE O’CLOCK STARTS. “We must go now Chuck or we will get shot tomorrow morning”. “Ok you can sleep in only for one hour. If you don’t wake up then we will go”.

“Mom, dad where are you”? “Oh no they left me. I must go before they wake up”. “Hello little, fellow, time to run before I catch you”.





Then he started to run and then he got away from the hunter. Then he saw his mother caught and trying to get away. “Son you must escape. Forget about me, just run. Follow your dad, he can help you. You just need to escape if you don’t want to get eaten for Thanksgiving. Your father is in the woods”. “Chuck, we must go, we can’t help her. We will get killed by the way. Let’s go. We must escape. Your mother’s talented, she’ll get away”.



“Free at last! We have escaped, they will never find us”. “Dad, I see hunters. Let’s go hide so they won’t see us. Let’s hide in the field.”



TWO MONTHS LATER

Mom, there you are. How did you escape”? “Well, they let go of me because I was too small”. “We’ll never get caught again”, I heard.

How to Make a Model Airplane

First thing you have to do is that you have to buy the airplane you want. Then you bring it home after you buy it. After that you need airplane glue. Next you have to take the pieces out of the box. After that you look at the direction and look for the piece that you start with. Last when you put the piece together you have to wait until it dries. Then you get some string and hang it on the ceiling.

About the Xo’s

So we now have four Xo’s in room twelve. You can do tons of stuff on the Xo’s. I like Tam Tam Jam and mini Tam tam. You can chat to other Xo’s. They all have names. We can play matching games and others. They have writing programs. We wrote a power point about the Xos. That's how much we like it. You also can put a flash drive in it. That's all, bye.



We just got a guy chatting with us. He was from Texas. Her XO name is Hans. But her real name is Nicole.

She said "what are you studying". Alec said "we're silent reading". Katherine said "we have to go to an assembly".

The War of the Ginger Bread Men

It was a peaceful town of Ginger Bread City. Then the enemy attacked the city. Then the soldiers went out to attack the enemy.



TWO MONTHS LATER they never came back. The good guys attacked the enemy. But then a year later they had 2000 men against 2000 men. Then the enemy had reinforcements, 3000 men. The good side retreated. Then they started again. We bombed them before we got to the top of the hill. But they had machine guns. But they won.



In World War 2 the good side won the first battle. General Adam helped us fight because we lost 2000 men and we only had 200 men left. General Adam and Lieutenant General William were on a mission. They brought 6 men to help them set the bomb in the enemy bunker. They had a radio man to tell them when the bomb was set. They set the bomb on the bottom of the door and retreated. Then they pushed the button and their HQ blew up. And they captured all of the rest of the enemy men. The enemy general was mad.



Then General Adam sent in tanks to search the area. Then they got attacked again. Four tanks blew up. Then they retreated. Then they knew the enemy would have men fall out with parachutes. We set up machine guns to let them not hit the ground. Then we saw a tank. Then we hid so he didn’t see us. Then the enemy hit the ground and called HQ.

Once upon a time I had a substitute. She was a nice substitute and her name was Ms. Luke. I had her in second grade once. She substituted for Ms. Shavey for one day. It was fun that day. This is the second time I had Ms. Luke. She has been my gym teacher too and we play Danish rounders.

Good and Bad luck

I sometimes have good luck. I do believe that if you pick up a four leaf clover it gives you good luck. I once had luck by finding a four leaf clover. My luck was getting good hits in baseball and it came true.





I once had bad luck. We lost badly to a team in baseball. They were a good team. But the next time we played them. We won. We were happy. That’s why we won. I picked a four leaf clover.





I sometimes believe in good luck. There are people in the world that have good luck. There are some people have bad luck. You get it sometimes.

When I was four years old I met john Paul. He tricked me by not talking and I talk to him but he didn’t talk back. I thought he couldn’t talk. But when I turned my back he said something. Then I turned back around. “I said did you say that”. Then he shook his head. Then I said ‘you can talk you just want to know my name”. Then I said my name is “William”. Then he said his name. My name is john Paul. Then we were friend for a long time. But now I hardily see him.

WASL Week

WASL Week





The reading WASL was kind of easy. Tomorrow we do the math WASL. It might be easy, it might be hard, you never know. I wonder what it will be like. We do the WASL this whole week. We do the math WASL for three days and the reading WASL for two days.





Today is the first day of the math WASL. It was kind of hard. I think I finished in forty minutes. Now we have three days of the WASL. We also have three sessions. I sit by a girl named Laurel. She is nice. She finished before me. We put up a sign that says STOP! GO AWAY! WE ARE TESTING.





Today was a little easier than before but tomorrow is the last day and you can’t use calculators because today we could.





One more day of WASL and we are done. We are on the second session. Tomorrow we will do session three and then the WASL is over. I can’t wait to finish because it’s taking for ever. I want it to be over quickly.





Today’s WASL was long. There were about 20 pages. It did not take long to finish. I had to reread a sentence. It was a hard question but I figured it out. What I think is that I will get a good score.

Earth Day

Earth Day is a day when you write and draw pictures to tell people to not litter. You get a bag when you buy something at any grocery store. The world will change if you litter. You must not litter and know when to throw stuff away. Most elementary schools give bags to different stores. Its good not to pollute or the world will get dirty. So help the world and don’t litter. If you see litter on the ground pick it up. You will help the world if you do it. If you don’t know when earth day is its April 22. If you pick up one thing you already helped the world. Do it for the world.

HOME RUN

My mind is on my HOME RUN. It was my first one in a real game. It was a three run homer. The whole team came out and congratulated me. At the end of the game we all signed the ball that I hit over the fence. I hit it of my friend Gabe who is on the team we faced yesterday (Except me because I hit the home run)

We loved having your XO. We liked to chat and invite our Xo’s.  We had a few people from the University of Washington come in with four more Xo’s. They made a new program for us. It was called Classroom Presenter. We got to draw on it and answer questions. There were 4 students and 1 Professor.

 

Tami was a fun Xo. Most kids in my class wanted to use Tami. Mr. Ahlness put Tami on the Internet so we could read our blogs.  We will have Tami until tomorrow.  I like the color of Tami in the back, it's cool.

My Blog

 I think everyone should have a Blog. All ages, an adult can have one and a Kindergartner. I love my Blog because you can change the background, you can have a name for your Blog. Mr. Ahlness has a Blog. He has a picture of himself on his Blog. You can put cool stuff on your Blog. I don’t what they are called but you can look on Mrs. Cassidy’s kids Blogs because the put cool stuff on theirs.

 

 

Other things you can do are write the best part. I like to write Non Fiction stories. You can write about true or not true. We are almost out of school. So Mr. Ahlness is going to give some people a disc so we can keep writing. I don’t know if my mom is going to let me get that disc.

 

 

Cool thing you can put on your Blog are Animals that you can move around like fish, penguins, spiders, and turtles. I don’t have one but I want one on my Blog.
