Hi my name is Kayla... I am eight years old. My favorite subject is science. My favorite foods are smores, apple pie, and a banana split with a cherry on top. My favorite thing to do is to go to my day camp in the summer with my cousin Shelby. My uncle watches us under the big tree with our water bottles when it is water break and we play soccer, basketball, and baseball. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Changing desks

Every three weeks we change desks in room twelve. We clean out our desk and take out every thing and put it on a table or on a chair. Then Mr. Ahlness chooses our new desk then we put every thing in our new desk.



I like my new desk because I have a new partner.



I do not like my new desk because I am in the back of the room.

Halloween night

When the night came all the little boys and girls went trick or treating door by door.



Then came a castle. An old witch was making the sky dark and windy. One night a kid came to the old witch. Of course he didn’t know she was a witch, he said, “trick or treat” She said, “I hate Halloween” and he ran away. Next came a teenager and kicked her in to the pot.

When my brother fell off a bridge

When we went to the castle park we went to a bridge. We went to a bridge and jumped off couple times. Then Gavin pushed my little brother off the bridge. His head hit on a rock and he got 90 stitches.

I’m thankful for the sea because I love the animals. My favorite sea animal is gold fish. Also I like the trout.

My best friend

My best friend is Jesse. We stick together. I have known him since my first day of school. We met in the lunch room. He has been changing every year.

My turkeys get away

I live in the south jungle. I am a turkey. I have to get away from the hunters. If I do not I will be for Thanksgiving dinner. Being dinner is not fun. One day I was in the jungle. I saw a hunter and he tried to shoot me. He almost got me but I got away. The hunter slid.

How to make a kite

First you take construction paper. Second you take two pieces of wood. Third you tie string to the wood. Fourth take a long piece of string and tie it to the wood and string. Fifth you tie the bows onto the string. Finally tape the construction paper.

If I had one wish I would wish to live with my cousin Shelby, because I don't get to spend enough time with her. I would also wish to have a hamster, the one I had died, I would wish for money to buy a house for my family, so my brother would not have to share a room.

I just walked in the door. My mom just got done wrapping the presents. “Hi mom” I said.

We went out side and we had a snowball fight. Then my mom and I went in for some hot coco. “I had a great time!” I looked at our Christmas tree and it looked beautiful.

On Christmas I just walked in the door. My mom just got done wrapping the presents. “Hi mom” I said.



We went outside and we had a snowball fight. Then my mom and I went in for some hot coco. “I had a great time!” I looked at our Christmas tree, it looked beautiful, however it looks to anyone else it looks beautiful to me. There were gold balls hanging from it. “Can we have a Christmas party?” I said. My mom said yes. My mom was baking a cake for the party.

One bad luck experience is my uncle Kurt fell off his roof. It was bad luck for me because I could not come over to my cousin’s house. So I had to go to the hospital to see him. My cousin got to come over for a week.

The WASL was easy to me so I kept going until I saw STOP. I L---love the WASL. It is my favorite test. It is great. I love love love the test.



MATH TIME



Math was even funnier than reading. I finished quicker and it was fun and I finished first. I had a blast, it was very fun.

When I got my Blog I was 8! I didn’t know any thing about it. Then I got taught how to do it. It is very fun. My favorite thing to do is to write on my Blog.
