Hi. My name is Haley. I am 8 years old. I have 4 pets, my pet cat and my 3 goldfish. My favorite sports are baseball and football and books. I have more then 500 friends in the world. I have 5 people in my family - Carmyn, Corey, Mom, Dad, and me. My cat’s name is Cosmo. He’s 12 months old. I have a lot of friends. We have a lot in common with each other. All of my friends are funny. We like to say “We make a great team.”

My Best Friends

I remember a time when I got my first friend. It was Emily. She was always nice to me. It all started in kindergarten. We sat at the white table. The reason why we are friends is because we play with each other. And we ate lunch together. Emily and I have been friends for four years. Some times we are mean to each other but we get together in ten seconds. We like to be friends because we have been friends for four years. Now that is a true story about me and my friend. And we will always be friends for ever. Because we are fff and we will always will be that way. Because we are fff. That means friends for forever. And that’s what we will be for the rest of our lives.





This is another story about my friends but her name is Kelsey. Me and Kelsey like the same thing like we like games and balls we like to run and we like to play with bugs and jump and we like to make stuff. We like to do things like make a bug’s hospital so we can help bugs and treat them like us and feed them like us. I like to help bugs and help them grow. Kelsey and I are best friends and we will always be that way.

What I am thankful for is my family and friends. I am also thankful for my school and home. Me and my brother are thankful for Christmas and the holidays with lots of snow. We are also thankful for our birthdays and the earth and me!!!

This Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving I will go to my grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving. I wonder what kind of game we are going to play at her house?



We will have turkey and apple pie with whip cream on it. This year we will have lots of cranberries with whip cream. I can tell this will be the best Thanksgiving ever!!!!

If I was a turkey I would try to get of the family that was going to eat me. I would try to dig a hole and dig my way out. But if that doesn’t work out then I will make another me and paint it so it looks like me. Then I will make it sound like me and then I will bust my way out of there. And they will eat the fake me and I will be free in the wild!





I just hope I don’t get eaten. I would like to walk around the world to see what is in the world. Like I would like to go to Seattle and visit my friend Tom, Corey, and mom. It would be nice to see them again.

My plans for the weekend

My plans for the weekend are to take my Christmas tree inside our house tonight. And then we will put decorations on the tree. Then the next day I will go to Kelsey’s house to play.



On the next day Kelsey might come over my house to play too. And if she comes over she can help with the tree!

What is on my mind is at recess I might play big four square or kick ball. But I don’t know what I want to do. In my head there are 19 votes for kick ball and 19 votes for big four square. But I still don’t know.

What my week ends plans are to go to my brother’s game then go to the movies and see Alvin and the chipmunks then we will go to pizza hut and get some pizza for pizza night

What I think about the Xo is that it is very cool and you can do a lot of things with it. Also what I like about the xo is it can do what things that other ones can't do. It is also fun to play with. So next time you see a xo think about it.

The best sub ststitute I ever had was, well she is subbing today and her name is MRS. Luke!!! She is the best sub in the whole world. One time she subbed was when I was in 1# grade. I had other subs but not like Mrs. Luke.



But today I wish it will never end. But of all the things we do with my old teacher is we get to play on the Xo and go on laptops but Mrs. Luke brightens up the day.

I do believe in luck. I think I is cool to have good luck. What I also think is that bad luck is not real. Once I had an ice cream cone and it had a cherry on top of it and it was cool.

What I think about the Wasl is I think it is very easy for me. My bother says the Wasl will be hard this year. But it was so easy, I think it will pay off.



The math Wasl was easy, it was so easy I didn’t have to go in at recess.

Earth day is a time of year when we clean the earth. Well we are supposed to clean the earth everyday for the rest of our lives. Remember when we clean the earth we can make a difference in the world.
