Mr.Hampshire saving the world!

Hi!I'm Kendall and i just finished interviewing Mr.Hampshire!Now that was very interesting!I found some stuff about him that I never thought I would know about him.Did you know that he grew up in Ontario on a farm?Well he did.Mr.Hampshire was in World War II.His rank was Private.He decided to go to war because he wanted to defend England and Europe.It bugged him that there was a man who wanted to take over the world and have it his way.He was in the war with his older brother.Mr.Hampshire started war when he was 18!!!!18 can you imagine that!Mr.Hampshire had a special job to do. He drove all the vehicles any kind of vehicle that was there he would drive them.He got hurt in the war,his tank blew up because another tank had driven over a mine and all the people that were in the tank with him had died.But he was the only one who survived.He thinks that Rememberance Day is very important so that younger children can look back and learn about the war.Finally Mr.hampshire's favorite part about the war was when they told them that war was over!Oh wait a minute I almost forgot, Mr.Hampshire's first name ia George!

Hi I'm Kendall and I'm going to tell you a little about myself! My favorite things to do are to color,paint,draw, anything to do with crafts!I also love spending time with my family and friends!

Being outdoors is my favorite thing. Everyday I can't stand being inside all the time!I am 10 years old.I do have a older brother in high school.In Language Arts I am good at it!I love to write.Well I have nothing else to say so buhbye!

Growing up with Mr.Lavoie!

Well Jocelyn and I just finished our interview with Mr.Lavoie!We learned some things about him that we never knew.Mr.Lavoie had no hobbies to do because he was too busy!He had a lot of chores to do because he lived on a farm and he and his brothers had to milk the cows and he had 16 cows!You know how some of us get an allowance of possibly a dollar or more? Well he got a nickel.A nickel and do you know what he did with that nickel?He went to the little store that they had and he bought a can of sardines!When he went to school he only had 2 teachers!A woman and a man.The school he went to was called Landerville School.Mr.Lavoie describes his parents as hard workers and they were the best!Mr.Lavoie liked the subject Spelling.His favorite food was desert just like everyone else!His best friend was Elmer Pitre.He got around with a truck his father had.Well that's what we learned about him today!

To be an e-journalist it doesn't take much.You have to interview people and its pretty fun.I learned that when your interviewing an elderly person you have to speak loud!Also i learnt that you have to ask alot of questions and your writing non stop!Sometimes it gets a little hard.

Even though we have to write and type alot, we get to have fun while doing it!We all went to differnt talent groups and got some information about that group.I went to the Music group and the Dancing group.In music they were singing a song with Mrs.D.Some of them werent singing at all but maybe they were just embaressed beacuse i was there with my partner Faith.But Savannah and Alana were singing loud and dancing!You could tell that really liked what they were doing.Then in the dancing group all of them were dancing like they were having fun with Ms.Picard!

Some of us interveiwed the people from the World War 2.I did.I interveiwed both of them,Mr.Hampshire and Mr.Lavoie.We learnt some things about them that we never thought we would find out.It was really fun getting to know about other peoples favorites and what their hobbies were when they were younger.

When we went to the Personal care home we saw 3 people,Stella,Kay and Josie.Stella had really interesting stuff to say and so did Kay and Josie.I enjoyed listening to them talk and tell us storys from when they were young.
