Helping others is what Taylor Huges loves to do. She helps out when ever she can. She saw her achievment as inspireing others to help out too. Since the scholarship she's won, she has encouraged others to make a small donation to the community too.

My Thoughts:

I think its awesome that she could do something like that. I thinks it's wonderful she can help so much. I think she deserves the award to further her education. It also quoted that she said " I want to work with children, helping them through school and to also give my time at local non-profits" she says.

Anglician Haunted Church

Article posted May 9, 2008 at 06:29 PM GMT0 • Reads 40

We drove into Qu'Appelle Valley and arrived at a petite church. The church is bright red, almost pink. Before we entered the church Mr.C asked that if we had hats on we take them off as a sign of respect. We went into the church and it was amazingly cold. He was telling us the history of the church when all of a sudden the door swung open all by itself. Mr.E said "come on in". I was losing my mind, then he tells us that sometimes the bell on the top of the church rings by itself. Next we did the grave yard study and the youngest person burried there is 12 days old. It was sad, and the oldest person there that was burried was 102 from 1845. I could not believe someone could actually live this long. It was the most amazing field trip I've ever been on!
