Russia sends extra troops

Russia said on Thursday that they sent extra troops to Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia. Russia announced that they deployed hundreds of peacekeeping units because of a rumour that Georgian separatists were planning an attack on Moscow.



I think it's good that russia sent extra troops to stop the separatists even if its a rumour it pays to be protective.

Glacier Trip!

On Thursday our class went to Landslide Coulee for a field trip. When we arrived we went to an old church which was actually in pretty good shape. While we were in their the door opened by itself and our guide told us that there were spirits in the church. Some of the girls started getting scared. After that we went on a hike on a mini glacier. After we climbed to the top of a hill and then had a talk where everybody who wanted to told a story. After that we climbed back down. A couple of us went the wrong way and had to slide down the side. Awesome ride! We then had lunch and found a snake. Rider and Tommy named it Bob. Then we set out and arrived at a beaver dam, we all sat down and were silent for 5 minutes! Our guide then said we could go on the beaver dam. Tommy was daring and climbed a thin log when he slipped and got his legs dunked but other than that he was fine. After Rider, Tommy, Milk and I had a stick war and that was the end of our trip!
