Detroit Red Wings Vs Colorado Avalanche

Sports: The Detroit Red Wings are leading the best of 7 series 2-0. The Wings have been flat out outplaying the Avalanche by displaying a 4-3 win in game 1 and a 5-1 win in game 2. Avalanche coach Joel Quinnville says that he is not at all impressed by the play of his hockey club and says there is a big room for improvement. Jose Theodore let by 3 goals in 1:33 and was replaced by Peter Budaj. Peter Budaj won his first playoff appearance in game 1 of the 06-07 playoffs and is the suspected game 3 starter.



Opinion: I am a huge Wings fan and I think this is a suspected start for the Avalanche. The Wings just look too powerful for the Avalanche and the Avalanche cannot stop the Wings line of Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Holmstrolm.

On Wednesday May 7th my mother and I went to Safeway for groceries. There was a girl in a wheelchair. I saw her coming and she was going shopping and she had just finished paying. She was on her way to the door and pressed the Automatic Door Opener. She pressed the button and it did not work, so I told her to come to the next door and then I opened it for the lady. She told me that I was such a nice young gentleman and she offered me five dollars. I refused and said that I was just trying to help her out and she said that there were so many snotty kids out there and she gave me a toonie and told me to go by a cookie. I said ok and she said thanks.





My Feelings; I thought the lady was very nice. She didnt have to offer me money becauseas all I was trying to do was help out. It's amazing that she was so surprised that I helped her out. It felt nice to help someone out.
