My soccer team is really good. So far this season our team never lost. Our first game of this season was the best game so far. Our soccer team is called Flaming Vultures.

Third Grade So Far

So far third grade is a challenge because we already had two tests. Third grade is fun because our class has four XO laptops and they all have names. The newest XO laptop is Jude. We got Jude at summer. I’m glad that I got to be in room twelve cause most of the stuff we do is really fun. Every Friday we have show and tell. Every day at the end of the school day we have a math contest, who ever is student of the week gets to make up a math sentence and the class has to answer the math sentence. Then they put their answer on a piece of paper and after that they put the piece of paper in the can. Then the student of the week kid reaches in the can then picks up a paper and then who ever gets picked and has the right answer on their piece of paper they get to pick a prize out of the prize box.

Trampoline Tricks

I started doing flips on a trampoline since I was about five years old. Now I am eight years old. I can do about four tricks on a trampoline. The very first trick I knew was a front flip. The second trick I knew is a side flip. The third trick I knew was very hard to learn and it was a back flip. The trick I knew was even harder than a back flip and it was a back hand spring.

I started playing sports since I was three years old. Now I am eight years old. I was three years old when I played soccer at YMCA. Our soccer team was called Pokemon Rangers. My very first game we won. The score was ten to nothing. The second sport I played is basketball. The team I played for is the Sharks. The third sport I played is baseball. The team I was playing for is called the Sting Rays. The last team I played was still for soccer. Next week our team is going to the championships. Our team is called Flaming Vultures. Best sport I like is soccer. The sport I don't really like is baseball.

I'm very smart in math. My dad and auntie taught me alot about math. My favorite math problem is fractions. I like fractions because they're fun and challenging. The hardest math problem for me is math stories. Because they're confusing and hard. The easiest math problem for me is math sentences because math sentences is the first math problem I learned.

Our principal at Arbor Heights School is at the hospital. Her name is Dr. Coram. Dr. Coram made this school feel like home. Everything changed until she left. Now there's a substitute principal named Mrs. Bledsoe. But I still want to see Dr. Coram again. Dr. Coram is the best principal I ever had. Arbor Heights is the best school I ever been in because Dr. Coram made this school the best.

My weekend was great! I had two soccer games on Saturday. The second game was the finals. On Sunday I went to party at my grandma’s house. I played with my cousins. Then I played my Wii. Then I took a long rest.

When I went trick or treating, I went with my God sister. I got a lot of candy. We went to some houses and people gave us a whole bunch of candy. It was super fun. We saw a house with a lot of decorations. I got so much candy you wouldn’t believe it. I couldn’t even carry it all. Because it so heavy. I was Stitch for Halloween. My God sister was Super Girl. My God sister’s costume was really nice. Every Halloween I go with my God sister. I saw some good Jack-o-lanterns. M aunt came with us too. My God sister is really nice and my aunt helped me get a lot of candy by teaching me what to say. My God sister always wear a different costume like me. Last year I was a soccer player. I like Halloween because you get to wear costumes. I saw some other kids wearing good costumes and scary one too. Some houses just left the candy out side. It was a good night because it wasn’t raining. Last year it was raining. One guy said that I had the best costume. Halloween was my best night.

The Scariest Story

There was a little girl that didn’t think that ghosts were real. Then her friends didn’t agree with her. One night the little girl wanted to prove that there is no such thing as ghosts.

So she stayed up all night sitting under a tree.



Suddenly the biggest tarantula popped out of nowhere and it climbed up her back with out the girl knowing. Then the little girl got scared. After that she went to the forest and camped by herself at night.



Suddenly three ghosts popped out of nowhere. The first ghost was making a scary voice and it came from a haunted tree house, the second ghost had a pet haunted tarantula and it came from the ground, the third ghost had a spider web on its face and it had no body and it came from the sky.

What I Feel about Election Day 2008

I feel happy because both candidates are both good presidents. At first I didn't really care about who will win or lose.



At my house I watched the Phillipino news, and they were talking about Obama and McCain. Most Phillipinos voted for Obama because he said really nice speeches.



My mom was checking the computer and Obama won. Then it was weird because McCain said,"I quit". Then he said speeches when he lost, and when Obama won.



On the news, Gregoire won. I felt really happy because my family and I voted for Gregoire. Now the government will pay more money to the people that are working.

I feel so happy that I am in room twelve because room twelve has a website! The website is called roomtwelve.com, and everybody who was in room twelve at Arbor Heights School, and is in room twelve right now has a blog.



My blog doesn't have a lot of articles but almost all of them have a lot of writing on them. My blog is called Soccer World. You can see it on the top left corner. In order to have a blog you have to be in room twelve and you have to sign a paper. It has rules if you have a blog, and it tells about what are you going to do. But you don't have to sign it.

My mom is so nice. My mom is studying to be a Dental Hygienist. She takes good care of my sister and me. She is also doing well at school, so in the future she will be a Dental Hygienist. The best thing about having a guest teacher is she or he will be nice. The best thing about having a guest is also if they explain more clear then your regular teacher. Having a guest teacher is also great because you can learn other teacher’s names. You can also learn how they explain stuff.



The worst thing about having a guest teacher is they might explain stuff confusing. They also might not give you that much time to finish your work. The worst thing about having a guest teacher is their voice might be not as clear as your regular teacher. When the little girl went through all those stuff she checked the places where the ghosts came from. First she checked the haunted tree house. Then she went inside of the tree, and there were sticks inside that made words. It said, “YOU BETTER RUN BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT, OR YOU WILL END UP LIKE THE OTHER KIDS.”

But she didn’t.



She dug under the ground, and there were bones that said, “TIME IS RUNNING. YOU BETTER HURRY OR YOU’LL WON’T EXIST.” But she still didn’t listen. After that, she climbed up the tallest tree in the world. Suddenly, the sun went away, and the clouds turned gray.



Then there was lighting, thunder, and some trees were falling. After that the darkest clouds went above her, and it made words. It said, “TIME'S UP. YOU HAVE NO WAY OUT ANY MORE.” Then she got so scared. So she got her back pack, and she covered her self with it.

Tom the Turkey

Hello, I am Tom the turkey. Most people know me by the name Tom the turkey. But they don’t know which turkey is Tom the turkey. I have a huge family. But a lot of people don’t know which turkey is part of Tom’s family. My family and I live in Turkey Island.



Other turkeys know me as well. I also have a bunch of friends. I survive by blending into leaves, trees, grass, and dirt. Sometimes I visit the human world. Nobody in Turkey Island knows what they call their world.



We just call it what ever they call their world human world. Most of my friends got caught and eaten for dinner. None of my family members got eaten for dinner. I am usually safe because I don’t visit the human world that much.



On 2008th Thanksgiving I will visit the human world. I will escape by wearing a costume of a monkey. But I am still practicing what sound a monkey makes.

Arbor Heights School

Arbor Heights School might shut down, or have a different name. Parents and teachers are trying very hard to keep Arbor Heights School. I heard it from our guest principal.



I feel very sad because this school might shut down, or have a different name, and I don't want neither of those to happen. I also feel sad because Arbor Heights is a really nice school. I also feel sad because by the time our real principal comes she might not be a principal any more.



I also feel thankful. I feel thankful because almost every teacher is trying their best to save Arbor Heights. I also feel thankful because a lot of students, teachers, and parents are making signs to keep Arbor Heights.



Mr. Ahlness got another XO, and named it Arbor Heights, because Arbor Heights might close. Even the patrol people are putting signs on their flags that say, “Honk to save our school." Mr. Ahlness also made a blog called savearborheights.com.



I also feel confused. I feel confused because if they are going to close Arbor Heights where would teachers, principal, and students go. I also feel confused because if they are going to change our school name, what are they going to name our school? I also feel confused because if they change the name, will the teachers principal, and students still be at our school?

The Scairiest Story III

After All that stuff, the little girl ended up with the other kids. The other kids, and the little girl didn't exist anymore. The next day, her friends got worried, so they tried to look for her. Before the little girl didn't exist. She left a note to her friends that said, "I will be at the forest and prove to you that there is no such thing as ghosts."



So her friends and family members went to the forest. The searched everywhere. The haunted tree house was still there. But they didn't know it was haunted. So they checked in there. It was empty. So they went down. Suddenly a mad witch popped out of nowhere. The witch put spell on them. The spell was they won't exist until 48 hours.



So they did everything they dreamed of. They saved the best for last. The last thing they wanted to do was going to the theater. So she did. The last three minutes of their life, she took a rest. They didn't know it was her last three minutes. So they disappeared to nowhere. Then they didn't exist.

New Years Resolutions

My first resolution is I won’t eat junk foods, and drink coke. I also won't eat candy. I will just eat healthy food like vegetables, and I will just drink healthy drinks too. I also will make sure my sister can have healthy foods only, unless her parents let her.



My second resolution is I will pay more attention on my family, and school. I also will work very hard in school. I will also keep my family safe. I also will do my home work early.



My third resolution is I will try to at least grow five inches this year. I'll also try to stop letting some people teasing me because I am short.

My first resolution is to save electricity so I can save the world. I also want to save electricity because I don’t waste it, and keep on buying more batteries and wasting money.

I don’t want it to snow anymore because it is dangerous for my mom when she drives to her school, and it is very cold. I also don’t want it to snow because it is slippery, and wet. Boomer is a dog in our family. We named him Boomer because he used to play bommer man with us. He is a Golden Retriever. He is very nice. He likes to walk to the park. His fur is smooth.

Thoughts of the Inauguration

The Inauguration was great. When Yoyo Ma played his musical instrument it was very nice. I cried. When Obama gave his speech I was clapping so hard because his speech was great. I bet Michelle is very proud of Obama.

The Best about an early dismissal is we get to go out early. The best thing is also we get to take more rest at home, unless you have to do chores. When I get home I go to sleep. I have to wake up at 7:30, and I always wake up at 4:00.



The worst thing is we miss art or science. The worst thing is also your parents might not be home. The worst thing is also you might not remember it is a early dismissal, and you might miss your bus, or you might stay in the school.

My weekend was great! I watched the super bowl. IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME. The Steelers had a great win. I played with my cousins at night. I scared them when I went in the house. We played mouse trap. It was hard. I won!



On Saturday I played with my cousins again. We jumped on the trampoline, we did flips and jumped off the trampoline, and hanged the tree. It was scary and pretty daring. We were so tired. We played football. Our team won!



On Sunday we took a long nap.

What’s on my mind are what are we going to do at music. I wonder if we are going to have a substitute music teacher. I hope Ms. Bailey is teaching because I can say thank you because she had the idea to bring the blue thunder here.



I also wonder what we are going to do at science. I hope we get to do something awesome. I wonder if Summer will be my partner again. I also wonder where Alex C. will sit.



I am also thinking of what we will have for lunch. I hope we will get something good. I am also thinking if we will have a substitute lunch teacher today. I also wonder who will get the machine to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

I am starting to play soccer again. I am really nervous. I haven't been practicing soccer yet. I hope I will be good still. But I am ready for any team to go against us. My weekend was the best of the best so far. On Friday night I played the Wii with my dad. Then I gave my mom, dad, and sister a Christmas gift. Then I helped my sister play her movie. After that I read a book about science. Then I helped my dad by teaching my sister some school stuff.



On Saturday I went to my soccer game, and I scored three points. After that I went to my to my soccer party, and we ate, played table hockey, and we went into the hot tub. Then we got a trophy, and a certificate.

My plans for the 4 day weekend are at Wednesday night, I will play with my cousins. Then I will stay up all night. After that I will buy a turkey for Thanksgiving. Then I will play the Wii with my cousins and dad. After that I will watch TV. Then I might go to sleep. After that I will teach my cousins how to draw cartoons for Thanksgiving. Then I might go on my blog to see if I got some articles or comments on my blog.



On Thursday I will play the Wii. Then I will watch some TV. After that I will eat lunch. Then I will celebrate Thanksgiving with my family.

On my mind is the spring break. I wonder if it will be hot or cold. I also wonder if it will feel long or short. I also wonder if I will get to go to the PPM (Pike Place Market). I wonder if I will go out of town. I wonder if I will play with my cousins. I wonder what are my plans are going to be.



I also wonder what we are going to have for lunch. I wonder if it will taste good or bad.



I also wonder if Josh and I will be done with our power point today. I hope we get a plus. I also wonder if I will work on the power point on my own.



I also wonder if I will finish on one minute. I wonder if I will get them all right. I wonder if we are going to do an easy sheet. We are doing hard multiplication.

The Washington Assessment of Student Learning wasn’t really hard so far. I think I’m going to like best about the Wasl is the delicious snacks. I got lot facts about the stories we had to read. The Wasl is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. It was really fun. At first I thought it will be so hard it feels if it was a hundred grades over mine. I also was feeling very, very, very frightened.



April 15, 2009



The session two of reading was pretty easy. When I was done with that I noticed I used a number 2.5 pencil on session one when we were supposed to use a number 2 pencil. I had to go over to the table with Mr. Ahlness. I had to go over my answers with a number two pencil. He was watching me so didn’t change my answer. At first I thought I was going to get everything wrong on session one. We had granola bars. I made fun of it and said it was gorilla bars. We had juice too.



April 16, 2009



Session 1 of math was totally easier than the reading part. We don’t have to keep on reading and reading. On math each question is just about one phrase. We got different tests, some of us got the same. The snacks we had were so delicious. We had three carrots and a cheese stick. I gobbled mine up. I thought the math part will be hard but it was pretty easy. The only part I didn’t like was the directions. We keep on hearing it every day. This time front was color red. At first I was very scared. I like math.

Session two of math was pretty easier. The questions were similar. We just had to read the directions again.

Earth Day

I think earth day is a special day, because more people try to make the world a better place. I like earth day because if they're celebrating it most people will stop doing bad stuff that causes the earth to be in trouble, and you’re thanking the earth almost everything like h2o. It means so much to me. I hope every body celebrates earth day. I also hope the earth gets healthier every single millisecond. I think other people that don’t know what earth day is should start celebrating. Do good stuff during earth day. Every earth day I will spread to everybody in the world and explain to people what is earth day. I will also make the world a better place. It means so much to me. I think instead of earth day it should be a holiday; I think it should be a holiyear instead. People started celebrating earth day in 1970. We’ve been celebrating earth day for about 39 years.

My Aunt

My aunt is very nice. She chaperones on my field trips. She introduced me to soccer. She plays with me most of the time. She gives me tests that are over my grade. She writes the tests. She always helps me on my homework if I am having trouble. She teaches me cool stuff like flips. She walks the dogs with me to the dog park. She is very talented. She used to play a lot of sports. She takes good care of me. She plays soccer, basketball and wrestling with me. She is very smart. She is a really good cook. She is talented at soccer. She can do a lot of cool tricks on the trampoline. She is very adventurous. She likes to go to different places of the world. She is very funny. She takes good care of her dogs. She goes to the soccer field with me so we can exercise, and play. She likes to watch Spongebob and Phineas and Ferb with me. She is good at magic tricks. She sometimes takes us to the theater so we can watch. She always make sure I get my vitamins. I really, really love her. 

 

About My Blog

I made my book by going to my blog and then I copied the articles. Then I pasted the top ten articles on Microsoft Word. At the same time I wrote the titles of the blog on my writing journal. All articles of my top ten are very long. It took me two days to finish that. The first day I got three articles. The second day I got seven



Then a typed in my About the Author. It took me two days to finish my about the author, same with my awesome book. I might have two pictures of me on my whole book.



After that I did the Introduction, or About This Book. It only took me one day to finish that. I would say that is the hardest part of my book.



This is one of my favorite books I made.

My First Article



My first article was My Soccer Team. I thought to either write about the beginning of third grade or my soccer team. I picked my soccer team and then I was going to write about beginning of third grade but our first blog assignment was third grade so far. I should have written My Soccer Team much, much later because I am on more soccer teams now. That was my very first article. You can read it on my blog.



My Blog Book



My blog book has ten articles that I think is the best of my blog. The title of my blog book is Top Ten of My Blog. There is a picture of my book that is on the top right corner of my blog. I also have 7 pictures of my articles on my blog book. Most of those articles are an assignment. But there is some that I made up. At first I didn’t know which articles to pick. I thought I was going to get a good start. But I so didn’t. In like 25 minutes I got only three articles. The next day I got all ten.



Is It Good to Have An Article



It is good to have an article because you get to show your stories or about you all over the world. It is also good to have a blog because when you are bored you can go on your blog and write a story. It is better to have a blog when you are third grade or over because you really need to be responsible for your blog. You have to remember your password and not tell anybody. If you want to put your password somewhere to remind you, you have to put it somewhere where nobody can find it.





At First



In Arbor Heights School, room 12 to get a blog you have to sign something. I was so scared. We had to write a about the blogger. We also had to Make title, and do the background. I thought a blog was a toy, but it was so not. I also thought our first blog assignment was going to be Your New Blog.
