Third Grade So Far!!!

Third grade so far is really fun but it is not so easy. We just switched decks so now my partner is Sofia and she is really nice. Before we switched my desk my partner was JJ. He is nice too and he was my partner before. We play a lot of games like beat the calculator and stuff like that. And guess what? I was a Triple Crown winner and I am again. Sometimes third grade can be a challenge but it is fun! Oh and a Triple Crown winner is if you get a sticker on 3 of your papers in your mail box.

We miss our principal so badly! She is the best principal any one can ever ask for. That’s why I’m so lucky to go to this school. I am surprised some other school didn’t steal her. My plans for Halloween are I’m going to be Sandy from Grease, my favorite movie!! If there even is a costume of Sandy bad Sandy! I’m going to look for the book Grease. My sister Taylor said that they made a book first but I’m not so sure.





When I go trick-or-treating I‘m going to try to get a three musketeers for my papa, a Reece's for my mom, a snickers for my dad and a dollar for me!!! When I come home I’ll count my candy and eat a little bit and save some for tomorrow.

My coolest Halloween costume was when I was a dead cheerleader with fangs. When I said trick-or-treat they would always say what I would start to crack up!!!



My worst Halloween costume was when I was a unicorn when I was 2 3 or 4 years old.

One Halloween Night



One Halloween I was getting on my poodle skirt. My mom said "You look so cute"! I said thanks.



That Halloween I got to go trick or treating with my friends Tuesday, Sofia, Kathy, Katie, Hannah, Emily, Damian, Rumi, Andrea, Aundra, JJ, Alex H., Jacob, Lauryn, Summer, and Lul.



We heard a knock on the door and mom was scared. I said, "Relax it’s just my friends". She said, "OK good"!



My mom said, "I really don’t think you should go trick-or-treating with no adults". Right before she finished her sentence, we walked out the door. She said rats!!!



After that my mom walked out the door spying on me. Believe me she had some pretty weird disguises. Like a walking bush and stuff like that.



Guess what? She even followed us into a house. It was her old haunted house. I said, "Guys don’t go in there" in a scared voice. They said chicken bock bock bock. I said, "No I am not" they kept calling me chicken, so I went in.



I heard something "It is the wind" I said. I saw a computer. I went to room twelve.com. I heard a voice say go away!! I ran as fast as I could.



I ran home and mom followed me.



After that Halloween I always went trick or treating with my mom!

When we found out Barack Obama won everyone was dancing their heads off they were sooo HAPPY!!! My mom and I loved his speech, it was so awesome. I liked when he kept saying yes we can yes we can!!



Guess what?? McCain quit. It was so weird. I thought he was not going to quit. I thought he was going to keep going but he didn’t.





The election was awesome when my sister Taylor saw the words at the bottom of the screen they said… Obama 44th president it was awesome!!

My weekend was great! My sister and my cousins Jojo and Melinda and I started a book club and it was awesome!!! The book was The Tale Of Desproux!!! I almost finished the book. It was really cool. I didn’t want to stop!!!



My cousins slept over. We played pirates I was a pirate trainee. And this guy came in the game that tied us to the fence. It was weird!

I think report cards are scary but that is just me. Sometimes I get scary report cards when I goof around like some people but no one in our class. Some people in our school not many, like two people.

I am a turkey and my name is Turkeleenie. I live on a farm. There is 3 days until Thanksgiving. Everyone thinks that the farmer is going to cook me. But he won’t. Will he? Well I don’t think so.

I will make a plan! I will simply hide behind a cow on Thanksgiving because the cow is huge and the farmer will trip and break his glasses.



In an hour or so the farmer went to get Turkeleenie. She was right, he tripped and he broke his glasses.

As you can tell it doesn't snow very much in Seattle,Washington but today there was a huge snow storm!!! My family and I went sledding down the hill! Exept with a kitty pool!! Except I didn't use the kitty pool, I slid down on my buttocks! At the end I over exaggerated and said I NEVER EVER EVER WANT TO SEE SNOW AGAIN!!  : -[!!!! Now I'm all cozy and warmtypping this story and it all worked out!

My spring vacation was great! I went over to Tuesday’s house and it was so fun!!! We played mancala and we almost stayed up all night!!! We watched TV and played on the computer in the middle of the night. It was so cool!!!

 

On Sunday I was playing with my cousins and we were having a slam dunk contest. I was the judge!! It was so fun even though I was the judge!! At the end of the contest I got to try it.  It was hard for me!!

My nice Earth Day bag has awesome penguins and cool polar bears! It also has some weird trash in the water and the penguins and polar bears are standing on tiny blocks of ice. It also has the words SAVE PLANET EARTH. And the little box in the water says Earth Day 2009 and at the very bottom it says Arbor Heights School! I haven’t figured out the amazing colors yet but I will!!!!

I hope that other people across the globe celebrate earth day, recycle, and don’t litter! Don’t think about you, think about the polar bears and the penguins. Stop being selfish and save the earth today! When I’m about 15 I will go out on the streets and I will pick up trash and throw it away. I know it sounds cheesy but it will really help the environment, so I hope you will do something like that too. Earth day is important to me and I think it should be important to others around the world and make that especially Antarctica. If we keep littering their ice will keep melting. And soon every animal in Antarctica will be extinct and I think nobody wants that to happen!

 

 

And here is an Earth Day fun fact: Did you know that Earth Day started in 1970! And if you want you could do the math and send me a comment!

My weekend was awesome! On Friday I went to party city to get my fairy costume. We were going to look at target except there were only fairy costumes for 3, 4, 5, year olds so we went to party city!

 

On Saturday we went to target to get clothes for the party and a b-day present for Beatrice. We also got cool converse! Mine are black and white with white stars on both sides!

My mind is on the flu. My Mom and Nanny said that there is a really bad flu going around it went from Mexico to New Zeeland to Paris to Canada and now it is in the United States! My Nanny said that it killed over 200 people! It’s really creepy!!

 My mind is also on NOTHING ELSE! Nothing at all! NOTHING!! Except maybe chips but other than that NOTHING!!!

My Mind is also on my sister Natalie and my mom. They are on a field trip. The bus leaves at 9:30. But they aren’t taking the bus because my mom is driving them. They are going to Lincoln Park, The beach part. I remember when I went to the beach party at Lincoln Park.

Once upon a time a girl named Valerie went home from school on Friday. Her parents had some good news. Her mom was going to have a baby! A little bother. Valerie thought it was going to be horrible. Her having to change his diapers him contently crying when she was trying to sleep. But worst of all she thought her parents were going to love the baby more than they loved her!!



On Saturday something unexpected happened. Her mom was rushed to hospital TO BE CONTINUED…

Stay Cool

Some people may think smoking and drinking are cool. And they think it won't hurt you. But it is not cool and it will hurt you. You can only drink when you're 21 and only 1 can a night would be a healthy way to stay cool.



But smoking you should never do at any age. If you smoke you could have a heart attack. So if anyone asks you if you want to smoke remember to always say no!

Next year I will be in 4th grade already! I will miss Mr. Ahlness! He is so nice! He helps us with our spelling and our math! He is so cool! I don’t want to leave 3rd grade!



Next year when I will be in 4th grade my parents will have to make a note and then sign it so I can still have my blog. It will say… Mr. Ahlness please give Hannah her new password! Which they probably will the first time I ask them the first time because they know how much I love my blog!





At the beginning of the year I wrote the very first article of the class!! When everyone else was in the classroom writing their first article mine was already published and on my blog! My blog was called Hippie’s World because my mom and I are hippies! Peace Out.
