Mammoth Bones

The Mystery of the Mammoth Bones is a very interesting book. It teaches you new words if you take the time to look up the words you don't know. It is strange that the idea hadn't been introduced that animals can be extinct.
I learned that a marsh is like a swamp. (I learned that by looking a word up). It is very excititing that Merriwether Lewis and William Clark were chosen by the president, Thomas Jefferson, to look for Mammoths.
Who knows, there might be some mammoths still around. I wonder what will happen when they find out that there is no mammoths?

I love to read. One of my favorite books would have to be Schooled, by Gordan Korman.
It is a hippee kid who's grandma and only guardian breaks her hip. So the hippee kid, Capricorn Anderson or has his "friends" call him, Cap, has to go to school! 8th grade is tough for Cap but he manages. Read this book to find out how.
