I think the Annings had a hard life cause they were dessitute so they had to work for a living. They would usually hunt for fossils to pay for their bills. Mary anning was one of the greatest fossil hunters but she never get credit for her work cause people would buy the fossils and then give them to a museum. Also Colonel Birch helped the Annings by selling his fossil collection so the Annings would be able to pay off their bills. Another thing is Mary Anning died from breast cancer when she was 48 and her father died when he was 44.
