Shark. The very name can srike terror in many peoples heart. A shark attack is very rare 50 shark attacts are repoted each year and out of which 2 or 3 are fatal. Unlike most fish who skeleton is made of bone, sharks skeleton is made out of a flexible material called cartilage. A sharks closest relative are rays and skates.Sharks live up to 20-30 years old.A sharks swimm bladder takes up to 30% of a sharks body mass. A sharks swimm bladder is full of oil to help the shark with it's buoyancy. buoyancy means able to float. Sharks eat little fish like samon, sqiud. Sometimes bigger sharks eat smaller sharks. The whale shark eat planton, because the shark has little teeth. A whale sharks teeth are so small because it's teeth aren't ment for chewing any type of food. sharks are the bigest fish in the ocean. Shraks have rows of teeth so when some teeth fall out the teeth behind them will move forward.

Chipmunks are very shy animals, but they are patient animals.Chipmunks eat plants, nuts, fruits, grass, and seeds. In the winter when a chipmunks hibernate there heart beat slows down, and there body temperture goes down. A mother chipmunk has a litter of 6 pups in the spring time. Chipmunks usaully live alone, but when a chipmunk meets another chipmunk they smell each others face as a greeting.Chipmunks can tell who's family by smell.

Beavers.

Some beavers live in Europe and Asia but most beavers live across canada and Untited states. Beavers eat tree brak, leaves, and fish. Beavers can eat up to 500 grams a day. Beavers live in dams made of mud and stickes. When a beaver cuts down a tree for the dam the beaver usally cuts the tree down by themselfs. Beavers don't have close relatives but beavers do have distant cousins. The more a beaver uses it's teeth the shaper they get.

Lions have the reputation for eating people. Did you know that male lions eat first even if the female catchs it. How can you tell a lion is male or female. A male lion has a bush of hair around his head, called a mane, and a female lion has no mane. The female lions, or lioness hunts the prey, and the male protects the group. Lions live together like a family, called a pride. After eating lions can drink for 20 minites after eating. Lions live as long as 12-13 years. When cubs are born all the female lions help look after the cubs even if there not there cub.

Cheetahs.

Cheetah a very graceiful aniaml. Cheetahs can run 60 mph. Cheetahs are very fast animals because they don't have the power or muscles to fight other animals for self defence. Cheetahs can't gowl, or roar, but they can yip,chur, and purr. When acheetah catch prey they quickly hide it in a tree, or by a bush,and eats it quickly with her cubs. Cheetahs live up to 12 years out in the wild. In captiviy they live up to 20 years. Cheetah have a black line marks going from there eyes all the way down to there bottom of there face. The word 'cheetah' comes from the term'chitraka' in the ancient indian language which means 'speckled.

I like animals alot thats why I want to be a vet. Theres alot of ways to help animals without being a vet. You can help at places that need help with animals, like the humane society, and any other places that need help. Even adopting a pet is helping.
