The first time you see someone danceing like this, the first thing that comes to mind is, "were did you learn to danes lke that".Well it all started with a man named James Brown and the dance "the good foot"in 1963.After that all the kids in New York were doing it.

The term "breakdancing" refers to the breaks in music
, and the movements that can be associated with these breaks. It emerged relatively recently, from the Bronx in the 1970's. It became popular with its introduction onto the New York street scene.

The style we know as "breakdancing" is actually divided into three distinct sub-genres: The Electric Boogie "is the part of breakdancing that looks like dancing. Weird dancing, but dancing." (Mr. Fresh and Supreme Rockers, Uprock is a highly stylized dancing fight. Two men face-off and dance very close to one-another. It is extremely fast and resembles a King Fu fight, and Standard Uprock moves involve "Housing" (laughing at your opponent), throwing-back your opponents’ moves, and stealing part of your opponents
