It was a dark and stormy night… and my dad was making a fire when all of a sudden the TV went on. The fire place was three feet away from the TV. And then one minute later the TV went off. And my dad went to the TV and when he was looking at the TV he heard a ghost. And I was in my bed hearing what was happening. So I got out of bed and went to the TV. And saw my dad talking to a ghost. And asked my dad what he is doing with a ghost. And he said the ghost’s name is Bob. And Bob said “I love candy” and I said “hi” and Bob said to my dad I’m hungry. And my dad got Bob a snack and Bob was happy. The End

At school we do spelling after recess. And if you get done with spelling early you can go on the computer or if there's enough kids done with spelling you can go outside. And you start on Monday and you have to be done on Friday.

The Turkey Escape

One day there was a turkey named Lucky (which is me). Lucky is a girl and she lives in Seattle, Washington. And she has one brother named Noah. (My brother) And they have a mom and a dad.



We went on a walk one day. And

it was Thanksgiving Day when a farmer took all of us! The farmer tried to put us in the oven but we kept squirming and got free because we kept squirming. We got free and ran away! We went to our home and stayed there. And the other turkeys stayed home too.



And the next year the farmer never came back!

How to make friends at Arbor Heights

First if you want to make friends go up to somebody that seems nice. And ask them if you can play. Next you can go and play with them. Next for the next couple of days play with some other people. And go to the first person again that you played with first and ask them to be your friend. Now play with your new friend for about a week. Now after that you can go to the second friend and ask them to be your friend. And go to all the people one at a time and ask them to be your friend. Finally go and play with your friends. And have fun with them! Now you know how to make new friends! Now if someone new comes in your class you can tell them how to make friends! And if you like them you can ask them to be your friend! Now you can go and play with all your new friends! Have fun!

My Thoughts about Haiti

My school is donating money to Haiti. Were giving

to Shelter Box USA. And my brother’s class is donating money to Haiti too. I donated eleven dollars and I gave my brother some to donate from me though.





Also there was five charities the money would go to for Haiti. There was Shelter Box USA, Mercy Corps, UNICEF, Partners in Heath, and Red Cross. The school

voted for which charity the money would go to. And Shelter Box won!

My teacher Mr. Ahlness has six xo's! And some people are allowed to go on them and do stuff on them like write blog articles, write stories, work and more. They're so cool. My Favorite Book

My favorite book is "The Secret Language Of Girls". Because it's a really really good book. Now I'm lending the book to my best friend named Lizzy. She says she really likes the book. And the book grabs your attention.



Also I like other books like Cages, and I like Dr. Seuss, Good Night Moon and more. I also like to read about horses and animals and I like interesting books. Like clue and detective books and mystery books.

The Incredible Pencil Story

Once upon a time there was a family of pencils. There names were Dana, Scott, Casey, and Glenn. They loved their home in a pencil box. They all had jobs. And their jobs were to write things for people. And one day the family decided to go on vacation. So on March 12, 2010 they went to Hawaii. And that's when a very terrible thing happened. That thing was the whole class ran out of pencils. So the teacher Mrs. Willow said "Come down now why don't we just write a letter to them." So they did. And it said "Please come back because some of the kids don't have any pencils." The family got the letter and came back instantly. The End.

St. Patrick's day's color a long time ago was not green. It was really blue. St. Patrick's Day is named after somebody who started a church. And his name was Saint Patrick. I think four leaf clovers sometimes have special luck. I do believe in small leprechauns.

Spring Break

On spring break my aunt, Glenn, and I are going to my AWESOME grandma and grandpa’s house! Without any parents! We did it last year and we had a lot of cool fun! I liked it a lot! I had so much fun! I can’t wait to go again!





We are going to the zoo and other really fun places! I hope the week doesn’t go by too quickly. Because I love to go there. It’s so fun! I have a blast! But sometimes I miss my parents.





I like to go in their swimming pool. It’s really fun! I can’t wait to go there! It will be so awesome! And attached to the pool is a hot tub! They’re one of the BEST grand parents EVER! I love them sooooooooooooooooo MUCH!



She's really nice. And I can't wait see her dogs Regie and Pipin. There really nice. And go and climb in the climbing tree. it will be really fun and awesome! I can't wait!The climbing tree is really fun! I also like to go to go fishing.



It's also cool because I can make new friends. Like I did before. I can make friends at the awesome awesome climbing tree.

Earth Day

I felt very scared at first when we went to a classroom to tell the kids about Earth Day. But after I felt a little happier when I noticed there was nothing to be nervous about. I actually had a lot of awesome fun! And it wasn’t hard at all. And now I know they're just people like me so there’s nothing to be scared of.



Also the next day after that I did another classroom. And before we went I really wanted to go. But after I was happy it was all over. Because they didn’t behave very well at all. I was really really happy it was over! I didn’t like it one bit. There were three people in our group. Steph, Liana, and me. Liana was the main speaker though. I’m happy about that. The second classroom we went to was behaving horribly.

Riding Bikes

The best part about riding bikes is feeling the wind on your face. It’s really fun! Especially if you're riding down a really big hill! It’s so fun to ride down a hill! I love it! The hardest thing would be to pop a wheely! I’ve never done it before. But I still know it will be really really hard. And you can hurt yourself! I’m good at riding really really fast! It’s so fun to ride really fast! And I like going on bike rides with my Mommy and Daddy! It’s so fun!

Ziggy is my awesome dog! I love him so much! He's the best dog in the world and Porter is too! I love them both the same! And Ziggy is kind of a guard dog. And he has a little herding issue. But he's a rare kind of dog. He's not normal. But I love him so much! I really really really love him! HE's a really good boy! And I like to call him a dingo because he's so crazy!

My Earth Day Thoughts

My thoughts about Earth Day are that yesterday we dropped off the Earth Day bags. It was fun! They gave us cookies and orange juice. It was very fun! I wish I could do it again. And when we were getting in the car I touched a dead bee and Nat said “Casey you’re touching a dead bee!” And I screamed! It was funny and then Daisy had to get the bee out. Because I wouldn’t get it out. I had a fun day! I made five Earth Day bags. I made an owl bag, an ocean bag, a picture of my whole family pouring water to make the plants grow. And at the bottom Glenn and me are recycling cans, and one with an earth and people circling the earth smiling! I really like all my Earth Day bags. But me and my awesome mommy both like the owl best.

The Earth Day Bags’ Adventure

On day someone picked me up and started to color and draw all over me! I was not happy. Until they stopped. And stuck me in a desk. Then I saw all of my family there with me. I was happy. We had been there about three days before someone grabbed us and clumped us in a box with about five hundred of us bags! It was not fun I’ll tell you that.



Then we all split up and people were carrying us! My family and I had no idea where we were going! Then they finally put us down! I and my family were all tired and scared. We all thought we were going to die! But then we saw some of the other bags getting hung up on a wall! We were terrified! We ran all over the place! Until the space on the wall was empty. We all said “Fhuufh” “That was a close one”. We were glad we didn’t get pinned up on the wall.



Then somebody grabbed us and put our family in a pile. “I’m a paper grocery bag!” “Not a play toy!” said the eight year old girl grocery bag. And all of a sudden the whole family got picked up and was getting filled with food! We were not happy! I said “Stop it right now!” And the lady took all the bags and brought them to her car. And took them to her kitchen and said “These Earth Day bags are beautiful. I want to help save the earth”!

We're going at the Arbor Heights Pool. It will be so awesome! I really really can't wait! And tomorrow the Arbor Heights pool opens! I'm going to be there! There will be a potluck for the opening! It will be so awesome! And we get to go swimming! "At Last!"

MSP Testing

It was ok. I had a little trouble but not much. I might be looking forward for the reading MSP test but I don't know yet. I liked the snack a lot though. We had either goldfish in a small cup or two pretzel sticks and juice and a fruit roll up. The test was ok though.



On my mind is the MSP test! It was fun and a little not fun but the snack was really, really yumm! I loved it! It was great!



It was a little bit harder but it wasn't as fun and I actually finished one minute before the bell rang and Glenn's name was in the book and it was spelled exactly right! It was awesome!

Folklife

On Sunday Siobhan, Glenn, my Mommy, and I went to a place called Folklife! It was so fun! I had a great time! It was awesome and so cool! It was very exciting! My weekend was great I went swimming at the Arbor Heights pool! It was so fun! I went to the Arbor Heights pool! It was so awesome and so cool! I loved it! I went Saturday and Sunday with my awesome Mommy! She’s so cool and rocking out awesome! I love her so much! So thank you Mommy and we went on Sunday, we went because we had a girl scout pool party kind of but not exactly but it was still so fun! I loved it a lot!

I like to write articles. They're very fun! I like to write about my family members, up coming things happening, field trips, things I’m looking forward to, things I been to and a lot more! It’s so fun to write articles! I have written about 60 articles! They're really, really good! I like to write about my life and other interesting stuff. I wrote a lot! It’s very fun to have a blog! I know that having a blog helps you learn how to correct your writing. It’s very helpful.



I like to write about my pets too also events I been to or are going to. It’s a very exciting thing to have a blog. I love to have a blog! I hope if you like to read and write you will get one too. For some advice they are super duper fun and exciting to have! I hope if you want one you will get one! I really love them! These are some of my articles The Turkey escape, My brother, My family, Turtle Foundation, My dog, Liana, Folklife and a lot more!



I sometimes write from Microsoft Word and sometimes from my blog. I have my ideas from looking at my articles, other people’s articles, I also write about opportunities I get to do, and a lot more. I don’t get many fix it up sentences as in when Mr. Ahlness writes us to fix up our article. I normally will figure out my mistake pretty fast but not always. I like to write directly on my blog and using Microsoft Word.



I do fix my mistakes when I make them. I write at least one article every two months. I love to read and write! It’s super Duper fun! I’m in the middle of the book Little Rascal. It’s a very good and awesome!



I think I will keep writing on my blog no matter how old I am. I love to read and write! I think no matter how old you are you deserve a blog! I know everyone deserves a blog and a chance to read and write!

The cutest Foster puppy

I have this foster puppy which means my family watches it until it gets a home. She is so cute and loves to sleep with hot water bottles. She is small and loves kids. Also she loves to sleep on kids' laps and grown ups to. She is small and is great with children. I love her so much even though we can't keep her.
