I am going to the Seahawk game this weekend with my dad! We are in the front row in the hawk's nest. The Seahawks are playing the Bears. It will be a really good game. I am so happy! My brother Noah is not going because we only have two tickets.

It was a dark and stormy night... It was the night before Halloween. There were kids egging houses and cars. They had fun doing that. They came to an old house. They went in but there was no one there. They were alone and they heard a noise! It was coming from the bed room. They walked closer and closer and they opened the door! There was a goblin! The goblin was eating a woman! Ahh they ran out the door and down the street. The goblin was chasing after them! The kids had to stop to catch there breath. That just gave the goblin more time to catch up. The goblin found the kids and he ate them. The End

It all started at Joe’s Farm with Farmer Joe and his last turkey.



One day a customer called Farmer Joe. He said,” I need a turkey.” Farmer Joe said,” Ok I’ll get it right away.” The farmer went out to the barn. He said to the turkey,” Ok turkey you are my the last one and you're lucky I saved you for last.” So Farmer Joe went to the turkey. The turkey said,” Gobble gobble.” And he slapped the farmer right in the kisser. The turkey ran out of the barn and into the field. The farmer was ok. The farmer went to go after the turkey. Farmer Joe was not very fast. The turkey was fast. The turkey hopped the fence and he was gone. The turkey ended up with a bunch of turkeys that did the same thing that he did. The farmer ran out of turkeys because they all ran away.





Next year the turkey will not go back to Joe’s farm.

I also got to go to the mall. (I was forced to go)

Dr. Martin Luther King Was a man of our history. He wanted black people to be even with everybody. He was very famous. When he was little he loved sports. He played football, baseball and basketball. One day he went to his friend's house. And the friend's mother did not want Martin to play with those children. Martin ran home to tell his mom what happened. His mom was sad for Martin. She told him some white people didn't want black kids to play with their children. Martin walked into town. He could not go many places in the town. He could not go to the same school as the white children. When he was grown up he made his famous I have a dream speech. Then he was shot when he walked out of a motel in Memphis, Tennessee.

My favorite food is pizza. I like the cheese of the pizza. I only like cheese pizza. The main thing is I like pizza.

My weekend was OK. On Saturday I went swimming with my cousin. It was really fun. It was at a Hotel. They also went to our house. On Sunday my cousin was still in town for a gymnastics meet. I played DS while she did gymnastics meet. The meet was in Auburn.



Jan 26, 2010 On my mind is What I’m going to do tonight I think I‘m going to Game Crazy. To get more Xbox live. I think I’m going to get a years worth of Xbox live. X box live is a thing for Xbox. You play with other people around the world. And mine runs out today. That’s why I’m getting more Xbox live. Last time a got one month of Xbox live. My dad is taking me to get it. I think Game Crazy has Xbox live but I’m not sure. My dad said he would take me and I think he will.

Jan 27, 2010 I think I will finish timed multiplcaiton. We are going to go to hard multiplcaiton soon. I don't think I will finish that.

The xo laptop is awesome! Mr. Ahlness made them all into real laptops. My favorite one is Mark Ahlness. I don't know why it's my favorite. It was the first xo I was on so that is why. (You might want to count the points) After that you might want to have a break. After the break you play again. Last at the end of the game you count the points. That is how you play basketball at Arbor Heights.

MY thoughts for Haiti.

At our school we are giving money to Haiti to help. We are giving our money to Shelter Box USA. We voted to see which charity we would give the money to. The charities are Shelter BOX USA, Mercy Corps, UNICEF, Red Cross, and Partners in Health. I voted for Mercy Corps. People in Haiti, you can see that people in Haiti are sad. This is a sad time for Haiti. Hope Haiti gets better.

My Plans for Mid-Winter Break / Valentines Day



My plans for mid- winter break are... I might go to my friend Ayden’s grandma’s house for two days. I don’t think I will but I might. My brother is going for sure. I might just stay home with my mom and dad. Ayden is in my brother’s class not mine but I still play with them. If I don’t go I will go see a movie I think. I’m not sure if I will see a movie. Casey 1 might come over if I ask him and my mom. If Casey 1 comes over we will play Halo 3.



My plans for Valentines Day are... We are going to have a party in our classroom. On the Valentines Day is the day my brother will leave to go to Ayden’s grandma’s house. So I will spend Valentines Day with my mom and dad. I am going to give my mom a Valentine. I can’t tell you what I’m going to give her because she might look on my blog. Those are my plans for Valentines Day and Mid- Winter Break.

On my mind is the falcon cam. We saw a falcon for the first time this year! They are big things I can say that. If you could see the falcon it is big. I don’t know if it is a male or female. I think it is female. I’m not sure. All I know is that they are really cool.



Also on my mind is baseball practice. It is our first practice of the season. Cade is on my team. Last year and the year before we won the champion. Out of all the teams. Our team is named Menashie and Sons Jewelers. Our coach’s name is Jason. I hope we do good this year.

We are going to have a substitute teacher for two days. Our guest teacher is Mrs. Luke. I’ve had her before. She is really nice.



I’ve had bad substitute teachers and good substitute teachers. Mrs. Luke is one of the good teachers for sure. I know I had a bad substitute I just forgot his/ her name. Some bad substitute teachers give us extra homework. Mrs. Luke does not give us extra homework.

On my mind today is my grandma. She is picking me up from school today. I am going to her shop after school. Her shop is a hair cut shop. He got McDonalds last time we went. I hope we get it again. The bad thing is I have to do HOMEWORK!! This means I can’t throw stuff away. My grandma is nice to me. She comes to our house on Thursday nights. She might come tonight after she is done with cutting hair. I don’t know but if she will she will call us. I like to play X box 360 with her. I play Modern Warfare 2 sometimes. Not all the time. I like it when we do.

My favorite book is Mr. Popper's Penguins. I like it because it is old. That book is really old. It was made in 1950 or something. I also like it for the words. It is a really cool book that I think you should read. I don't know if you can buy it anymore. It is my all time favorite book. I like a lot more books. I know for sure it is my favorite

My second favorite book is Cat in Hat. I like that book because it was one of the first books I ever read.It is also a really cool book. Dr. Suess is dead but I still like his books. I like a lot of his books. Over all this book is my second favorite. That is all I have to say.

The Missing Pencil

One day Joe saw a pencil that he really liked. He was writing with it every day. He loved that pencil. One day he lost that pencil. He searched in his desk ten times. He looked on the the floor. Then he got some friends together and they looked. They didn't find it. He looked on the playground, no pencil. He stopped looking and he had to use another pencil. He did not like that pencil. He saw a pencil in the trash. He wondered if that was his. He ran over to the trash, it was not his. He wondered if someone took it. He saw someone with it in a backpack. He wondered who the boy was that took it. After school he followed that weird boy. The weird boy went to his house. Joe followed. The boy used the pencil for his homework. Joe was shocked. Then he came out of hiding. And said "That is my pencil". The boy didn't not listen to him. After Joe was done talking the boy jumped out the window. Joe did not want to hop out the window so he used the stairs. Joe caught up to the boy. Then Joe jumps at the boy and he missed. Joe was hurt. Joe didn't want to run after the boy anymore. Joe went home after what had happened. The next day Joe was a lot better and he wanted to get his pencil. He made sure after school he followed the boy again. After school Joe saw the boy. When they got out of school grounds. Joe jumped and hit the boy. It was the wrong boy. Joe hopped up and didn't say anything. He tried to see the boy but he was the only boy on the block. So Joe went back to his house. Then he went to school the next day. He made sure it was the right boy. It was the right boy. He made sure he had the pencil. He did, it was the right time to jump. Joe jumped and missed again. Joe went home failing again. The next day  he talked to his teacher. About the pencil thing. The teacher said "I don't know who that boy is". "I just know it is me," a little boy said. "You are the one who took my pencil," said Joe. " Can I have my pencil back," said Joe. "No," said the boy. The boy ran. Joe ran after him. Joe ran as fast as he could. Joe jumped and hit his target. The boy dropped the pencil and Joe got it back.

Halloween part 2 (Different kids)

After that goblin ate the other kids he came out of his hiding. He roamed the streets of Little Rock. He dressed like a real man. Some kids still got eaten. After about two weeks there were new kids. That did not know about the goblin. They were just looking around the new city when they found the goblin's house. They didn't think anybody lived there so they went in. They found a dead boy on the ground. The goblin was looking at them from the second level. The kids did not know. They went into the bedroom. The goblin shut the door on them and left the house. The kids were scared. They saw the goblin in the window. They were even more scared. The kids did not know the goblin unlocked the window. The goblin got in and ate those kids. Their parents didn't know

St Patrick's day is cool. I like the little green man. They are the coolest. I like them because they cause bad stuff to people. I don't know why I like them. I like St. Patrick too. My weekend was ok. I didn’t really do anything. One thing I did do was play baseball with Cade. It was awesome. Also Casey 1 came over to play. When he came over we played a basketball game Vs. My dad. We won because our last shot… Was worth eleven points. We called last point wins. Then I scored the last point. Then we just shot a few baskets. That was all on Sunday.







On Saturday I just stayed home. And I played video games. I also watched TV for a really long time. On Saturday I did my homework. That is not really fun. I played basketball on Saturday. My weekend was ok.

On my tiny mind... Is my big baseball practice on Wednesday. I think I will hit the little white ball. I don’t know if I will hit the ball. I know I’ll be in the field to throw the little white ball. I am an unlucky person. I almost forgot my green but my shoes have green. I am still unlucky because I fell down the stairs at home. I fell and I didn’t feel lucky at all. I really think I will have something else unlucky today. I just feel unlucky so I’m scared!!

My plans for the three day weekend are… I might go to my granny’s house tomorrow because my cousin is coming over. She spends the night there sometimes. It is also her birthday tomorrow. Also on Saturday she has a gymnastics meet. I don’t know where. I think it is in Kent, Washington. I think she leaves on Sunday. Another thing she might do is come to my house. I don’t think so. I just know she is coming on Friday. And that she has a gymnastics meet on Saturday. That is all I know.

I'm the Jr. Seahawk. I like the Seahawks! They are awesome. I like the Saints too. My son is right next to me all the time.

Spring Break

This is John's Spring break.  John is going to Mexico for spring break.  With his Mom and Dad. John had to hop in a yellow taxi. He went to the airport. The taxi driver drove quickly down the highway.  To seatac airport. They got the airport. John and his family had to hurry. His flight was about to leave. They got there just in time. The man at the door to get in the plane was big. He let them in but nobody else.

 

On the plane John fell asleep. He parents didn't. They were sitting by the bathrooms. That was in the back of the plane. The seats on the plane were blue.  When they landed in Mexico John's family was gone. John was alone is Mexico. He went up to a man. He asked " Where do I buy ticket to Seatac". The man didn't  talk in english like John. The man didn't say anything.

 

John left the airport. He was now on the streets of Mexico. He was scared. Everybody looked at him. He found a nice man. The man spoke english. That man didn't say anything. He found a lady that looked like his mom. It was his mom. Where was his dad. Nobody knew. John was scared. His mom was too.  Then he saw something that looked like his dad. It wasn't his dad. His dad was still at the airport. He found his parents and he was happy!

On Mind is baseball. I am almost the smallest on the team. Last night I was practicing catcher. I was catcher last year. Last night I did not do well at catcher. I had to play it. The only thing I don’t like about catcher is… You have to wear all that stuff. It takes a while to put it on. That is all I have to write about.

On my mind is baseball. I have it after school. Today I will quickly get ready. I don’t know what time my practice is. I know a will have to hurry though. I think it is at 6:15. I really don’t know.



Also on my mind is spelling. I finished yesterday so I can go on the computer. The computer part is at spelling time. I don’t know what we can do on the computer today.

On my mind… Is the Sounders! They play in the opening MLS game. The awesome sounders colors are blue, white, and green. I’m going to watch it on TV. It starts at 6:30 P.M. I hope they win. They are the home team. The home team almost always wins. They play at Quest Field. That is it about the Sounders.

On my mind is… SPRING BREAK!!! I have to go to the little white ball sport. Which is baseball. I am also going to have a couple friends over to play. They always play X Box with me. My X Box is black. We don’t play modern Warfare 2. I only play that by my self. We play Halo, that is a two player game. If we don’t play X Box we play out side in my awesome tree. It is awesome because it is a good climbing tree. Casey1 Might come over to play. Maybe Cade will come over. That is all.

Public Speaking

Last week I spoke to different class rooms.



I went to room 13 grade 2 I also went to room 23 ¾.



About room 13. They behaved really well. It was very quiet in the class room. I liked how they listen and didn’t talk much. My feelings for the room were calm and laid back. We had two questions.



My other room was room 23. They were really good at listening. I liked how they were nice and quiet. We had a person from our team not there that day. So I did most of the talking. My feelings were really not as nervous as I was the other class room. We had one question. It was a great time at both class rooms. I forgot something.

People in my group. The people in my group were Casey1, and Kevin. Kevin wasn’t there the second day like I was saying.

Bikes

The best part of riding bikes is going fast. You zoom past everybody else. You do more laps than everybody else too. The hardest thing for me is to slow down. In gym we have back breaks. I'm not used to that. I’m pretty good at going fast. I hope we ride bikes today. That is all.

EARTH DAY

My thoughts about Earth Day are…



That Earth Day is every day not just one day. That means be good to the earth every day.



The earth is our home so be good to it. Help the earth. I know some people that make earth day every day. I think you should do more things on earth day. Because it’s earth day. This day is my third favorite day. It is in my top three favorite days.



There were bags we made. They are called Earth Day bags. They are to celebrate earth day. The whole school made them. We had a 362 bags. WE gave them to SafeWay. We took a field trip there to deliver the bags. That is all

Going to Safeway. We are going to deliver grocery bags. For the Earth day Grocery Project. I hope I drive there with Casey. Because I knew him since Pre- School. And I know his mom. Mrs. Salter’s class is not going. I Think it is because Mr. Ahlness started the whole thing. So now I am going to write something else.



I hope we win the bag contest Mr. Ahlness will tell us the winners. I hope we win. I think we will I don’t know. This is it from the contest.



My brother is sick. He is not at school. So my dad will stay home today. The End

I have a baseball game on Saturday. I play Legends. Cade is on my team also. A have a soccer game on Sunday. Cade might come over today. About the baseball game. I don’t think the team we play has lost yet. We have not lost yet. The soccer game I don’t know who we play. I think we play Italy. I’m not sure. I hope I’m right. That was my week's writing.

Be Good To Bags



First I was in a box now… I’m on a wall…



It was a week ago. When a little girl named Sally took me out of the box. She started to draw on me. She was a pretty good drawer. She took out some colored pencils. She colored me. I’m not going to brag but I looked pretty good. I don’t think she was done. She wrote words on me. It’s like I’m getting a tattoo. Because that stuff that she is drawing on is my skin. Well I think I should tell you what the bag looked like. It had a polar bear on a piece of ice. That is what it looked like. When she was done. She put me in a box with my friends. I was on top of a few. Some were on me. She person took me out of the box. That person after the school bell rang put me in a car! I thought I was getting the VIP car ride. I fell asleep while in the car. When I woke up I was on a wall!! I wanted to find the person who did this to me. Then I saw a sign that said Safe Way. The people of Safe Way kidnapped me. I couldn’t believe it. I had to get out of that place. Then I saw people coming in the door. I thought I saw Sally. It wasn’t, but at least I was with my friends. Not with some person that I don’t know. I hope I’ll reunite with Sally. If I don’t I know I’ll be sad for life. I hope I don’t get recycled. You know we bags have at least one more life. Because we can get recycled. That is a good thing but we turn into a soda can. Then we go in the trash so the point is BE GOOD TO BAGS. That is the lesson of this story. Anyway I was on the wall. I was yelling and screaming and all that stuff. Nobody heard me they just looked at me. People came in and took my friends off the wall. Not me. It looked like kids for Sally’s class. I think those kids did those bags. So Sally must be coming. I waited about a day but Sally didn’t come. Then Sally came. Was she going to take me down? No, she walked right by. I saw her walk over to the manager. The manager told her she could take me down. She did and it was the happiest moment of my life. Sally took me to her house. She put me on her wall. I was happy there.

ALL- STAR Try Outs

ALL-Star try outs went great for me. I did good in everything. My bat was on fire. As my mom said. My fielding was great. My pitching not that great. Out fielding was awesome. My weekend was busy.



On Saturday I had a baseball game. We played PR. That stands for Performance Radiator. We beat them I know that. I know a lot of people on that team. I hope we don’t play them again because I have to say they were pretty good. I think we don’t play them until the play offs.



On Sunday I had two things going on. I had a soccer game, and All- Star try outs. First the soccer game we lost. I don’t know the score. I know we lost. The try outs went great for me. I did good on every thing I think. I have to wait about two weeks for the coach to call. I either make it or I don’t. I hope I do. My bat was on fire. I was hitting that ball. Casey 1 came up to me and said that.



May 4, 2010



On my mind is…



ALL-STAR try outs. I don’t know if I’m going to make it. I hope I do. If I get a phone call I’ll know if I make it or not. My soccer coach is the coach of the ALL-STAR team. That doesn’t mean I make the team right away. Last year I didn’t make it. I was sad. I’m over that. My mind is on this year. If I make it the first tournament is in Lynden. Up by the Canadian border. I don’t think anybody will drive three hours to watch me play. That is it.

My plans for the evening are…



Celebrating. I made the ALL-STAR team. I was so happy. Lynden WA. Here I come. I found out after school. Three quarters of the team I know. I think I don’t know one person. The one person plays on O’Neil plumbing. We beat them. I might go out to eat tonight. At Viva Mexico. I don’t know if I will. Bye for now.

On my mind is ALL-STAR practice. It is tomorrow. I don’t know where the practice is. My Mom knows where it is. I hope it is close. I hope I know everybody. Or I hope I’ve seen everybody before. I know all the coaches. I think there is three. I’m not sure. The head coach is my soccer coach. We call him coach, sometimes. Not all the time. Hope practice goes well. Hope I did as good as I did at try outs. I’m not sure if I’m going to write about anything else. So I’m done now.

My plans for the weekend are.



On Saturday I have a baseball game. We play Zippy’s Giant Burgers. Last time we played them we beat them. They are kind of good. Not the best. I forgot on Friday I have ALL- STAR practice. At Lincoln park it is at 6:00.



On Sunday it is mothers day. I don’t know what I am getting for my mom. I might go to my grandma’s house. That is what I’m going to do.

The MSP test went well for me. I just did the math part. The reading part is on Thursday. In the middle of the test we had snack. The snack was good. We had Fruit Roll ups, Juice, and Gold Fish. It was good. I hope I did good.



I finished early. So I got to doodle. I read a little too. I mostly read. I doodled one picture. It was just a little person. I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Finished it.





I think the Reading MSP was between easy and hard. Some questions were hard, some not. The snack was good. I had gold fish, fruit snacks, and juice. It was really good. I’m clad the MSP is over. The bad thing is we will have to have homework again. That is it from the MSP. Wait I forgot… The MSP stands for…

My favorite article is “ Be Good to Bags”. It is my longest article. I don’t think there are any comments on that article. I like it because when I wrote it in my journal I didn’t have that much to say. Then when I got to a computer my mind was on fire. I added words that I have never even used before. If you look at my other articles you can tell that is the best one of them all.



When I write an article I don’t write on paper first. Sometimes at school Mr. Ahlness has us write on paper first. I think we did that three times. Sometimes I wrote it in my morning journal. Halloween I wrote from my morning journal. When I am at home I just get on the computer and write. It just comes from my mind most of the time. Sometimes we go to the place. Not all my articles are Fairy Tales. Some are real. I think the name of the article is “My day” that happened to me. Most of them are Fairy Tales. I like all of my articles.



I think everybody should have a blog. Just to try it out. You never know if you are going to like it or not. I didn’t know if I was going to like it. I tried it and I liked it. It you ever scroll down on my blog you will see more of my articles. Just look how many I have. I really don’t know. I don’t care how old you are. You can be any age. Three, four, five, eighty-five. You can just have fun with your blog. It is not all this serious writing.

I will miss room 12. I wish I could have a teacher like Mr. A every time I walk into a classroom. Room 12 was always fun. The other children were very nice. I don't know why I have to leave the third grade. It was my favorite grade so far. When it is summer time I will write alot more aritcles. My favorite thing in the third grade was... was having fun the whole time. This will I think be my last acticle in the third grade. This is my last  word  " Good- Bye" I mean last two words . I guess that is all. I am heart broken. Now that is all.
