Long time ago there was people that killed elephants so they can make jewelry and pieces of art. That both kind of elephants are in endangered. The elephants are amazing animals I hope that these animals stay alive for a long time. People used the tusks so that they can sell them. I agree because the plants give us food that they store. The plants also give us oxygen so that we can breath. Many medicines are made of plants. Clothing is also made of plants. Most of the fuel that we burn comes from plants. People also make houses out of wood. All kinds of spices come from plants.

Bunnicula Chapters 1-3

Chapter-1 The Monroe family finds a bunny at a Dracula movie and are trying to name it. The mom wants to name it Bun-Bun and one of the kids wants to name it Dracula so they combined Bun-Bun with Dracula and that is how they named it Bunnicula. The Monroe family puts the bunny in a shoebox for the night because the kids were fighting over who will sleep with Bunnicula.

 

Chapter-2 The first night Chester notices that Bunnicula has fangs, and has a v- shaped pattern on his forehead. Also he has red eyes like a vampire. And also has a cape- like pattern in his fur that made Chester suspicious and nervous.

 

Chapter-3 Chester is sleeping all day so he can stay awake all night and so Harold is bored all day. At night Chester wakes up and finds Bunnicula in the refrigerator. The family found a white tomato in the refrigerator.

Harold and Toby had a little party. They were talking about Treasure Island. Harold did not know what a parrot was so he asks Chester if he knows what a parrot is. Chester said that a parrot is a bird that has a long bill and it says what you say. Chester was reading a book that it's called The Mark of the Vampire. He saw that Bunnicula had fangs like a vampier. He also found some vegetables that did not have juice in it behind Bunnicula's cage. That made Chester think that Bunnicula was a vampier. When they were talking about what Bunnicula has compared with a vampire. Bunnicula came out of her cage. Then Chester found a white zucchini under the chair's cushion.

Mrs. Monroe is the mom of the two kids in the story and she is a lawyer.She is very funny because she makes up funny names and every body thinks that that they are girl names and every body thinks that they are ugly. The funniest thing that happened is when she picked the name for Bunnicula and she said that prince was a pretty name for Bunnicula.

Today we Skype with a class in a island called Brigantine in New Jersey. We were telling them about Americans.Then a 5 year old girl asked us questions and also the whole class asked us questions too. Also we got to ask them questions too about where they live. They were in a art classroom because their teacher went to an a emergency meeting. All the kids favorite food was hotdogs, hamburgers, and also pizza. The favorite singer is Justin Bieber During the weekend they play games on the Wii. At recesses they play soccer and football. They asked us if we live next to the Grand Cannon we told them no we don't. Then an other person asked us if we live in a near a desert or on a mountain and we told them we live in a desert and surrounded by mountains. Their temperature when it's hot in the summer it's 90 digress . At the end a kid gave us a big smile.

When Christian grabbed the can and turned it over and put it in the cold water it crushed.Thats because there is nothing in the can. The steam thats was in the can is the same as the air Pressure.Then when the steam came out we turned the can over in the cold water and the air Pressure outside crushed it.

My High Hopes

I live in Sparks, Nevada, and my "High Hopes" for school include getting better at reading with the books I like to read, getting better at spelling words that I don't know yet, and I need to get good at writing stories about me and about other good stuff too.

But my Highest Hope for school is getting better at soccer so I can get better and be in a league soccer team when I grow up.

 

 

My "High Hopes" for my community include schools so we can learn stuff and when we grow up to go to college , police to help us from the bad guys that try to hurt us with weapons, and fireman help us too by putting out fires.

But my Highest Hope for my community is that we have good hospitals so if we get hurt or injured they can help us feel better.

 

 

 

My "High Hopes" for the world include hunger because the people that have no food at all, homeless for people that don't have a house and health for people that are injured that have no hospitals.

But my Highest Hope for the world is education for the kids that don't have a school to learn.

My Balloon Story 2

Hi my name is Itari I'm stuck in a little box all squished and smashed. It's so hot in this box and it is very dark in here. I heard a noise. I think they are going to let me free at last! I feel more comfortable and I finally I got to stretch out. I also see light for the very first time. There are lots of trees around me and I see some kind of a claw. Now they are putting me on a plastic sheet. They are putting hydrogen in me and that feels very strange. It feels kind of weird and it tickles. They are putting tape on me so no air can get out and I can go very far in the air. Ok, now they are going to let me go and I'm finally going to fly in the air, have some fun and take some photos of the ground. That looks like a cool pattern in the dirt and the grass and the oceans.Talking about oceans, I see the Arctic ocean and it looks very cool from here. I'm very high in the sky I'm 30,000 feet in the sky and i'm getting fatter very slowly and that is hurting me and I can't take it any more and now I think am going to burst. POP! I burst and hanging here and falling very fast. I think that when I fall it's going to hurt so much and stuff might break and might be busted. They might not have some videos or photos that the cameras took. Now the wind is blowing me to the right so that means that I might land somewhere there is dirt. I'm going to get hurt very bad. Now I'm falling to the hard ground. PLOP! I fell on the hard ground. Now I have to wait for them to find me in the middle of the desert. Hooray, They finally found me in the middle of the desert. They saw that everything was ok, but when they got me in the car. I saw a garbage bag and I saw someone picking me up and putting me in the garbage bag. When we got to the school we stared thats where they went to a garbage can and they threw me in the garbage can. So I end in the garbage can.

The Balloon Project

Today is the day we do the balloon project. Now we are preparing to go outside to launch the balloon. Now we are outside ready to launch the balloon. We have to countdown so the scientist can let the balloon free. Now they let go of the balloon. Now we go to our classroom to see were the balloon is going. Also we have to study about the air and about what the balloon is made of. Then we have to write a story of us being the balloon and how will it feel to pop. Also how will it feel that the scientist fill us with hydrogen. When the balloon launched we took pictures of it launching. The balloon also took pictures of the ground from very very high. Also it took pictures of it popping. When the balloon landed on the very hard ground it took pictures of the blue sky. When it was at the ground the scientist went to go and get it. While they were driving to go and get it. In the meantime the balloon was takin pictures still. Then the scientist found the balloon and took it with them. Then they took pictures of them goofing around with the balloon like if they had died also if they were super heros. Ok then thats the end of my story.

The great thing about Maniac Magee is that he is good at running because he ran 200 miles. Maniac Magee was born in a pretty and ordinary house. His parents died when he was only three years old. Then Maniac had to live with his wearied aunt and uncle. Then he ran away from aunt and uncle because they were very wired. When he went away he was gone for a whole year. Sins he was gone for a whole year his clothes were all dirty and nasty. His shoes also ripped from the sole. But the awesome thing about Maniac Magee is that he is good at running because he ran 200 miles.

Played With Snowballs And Water Balloons





It was a nice and cold day, but I am going to play out with the snowballs and water balloons. I jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Next I ran back to my room to do the bed and get changed. I went to get the water balloons but my mom said “it's to early to go outside” so I went to my room to watch TV. Then I heard a noise, the noise was my sister waking up so I didn't get so worried. But then my sister called me over and I went she said “ mom said we can go out side to play with the snow and the water balloons. So I went to get the water balloons while my sister changed. When my sister was ready we went outside to play I ran outside and she said “what do you want to do first and I told her that I want to play with both things at the time. She said “ are you crazy” and I asked her “do I look like one” and she said “ yes you do.” So we stared playing and she said “ I will fill up the balloons with water while you make the snow balls and make them half and half.” So I got stared on making the snow balls and then she came with the water balloons. So I told her the rules and she asked me “ wont the water in the water balloons freeze” and I said “ yes that is the fun part of it” we stared playing and she was loosing because she all ways got touched by the balloons and I did not get touched one time. Then we had to go inside to change again. Then we said how much fun we had this morning.

When I Got A DSI For My Birthday

It was a nice and beautiful morning. I am in my bedroom and I am watching TV, because today is my birthday but I think that everyone forgot that today is my birthday. So then my mom called me over and she said “ I think that we will have a birthday party for your birthday.” I was so excited when I heard that, so I ran back to my room to get every thing ready for my party. But my mom said that the party will not start till 3:00pm. So I was depress that my party was going to be till 3:00pm, so I still Got every thing ready for my party, because what if I forget something. Then my dad came in the house and he said “ I will get you the birthday cake you want so I went to the store with him to see witch one I want. When we got there I saw lots of cakes around me and I did not know witch one I want, their are so much of them I don't know witch one to choose. So when I chooses my cake we went home to get all of the food ready. When we were done all of our guest came we stared the party.

1) My favorite movie is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I love that movie because it is kind of like the book but it has even more funny stuff.





2) I want to do a magnet so that it can pick up any kind of stuff. I want to do that because it could be cool that you can make your own magnet, that can pick up any kind of stuff.





3) I like to shop only at my favorite stores. Because you know what there is and you can buy it.





4) I love cupcakes and my favorite flavor is chocolate. I love that flavor because it’s so sweet and it gives a ticklish sent in my mouth.

Balloon Chip Bag Experiment- payload



Description: We are attaching a small green party balloon that is has one forth of air, a large orange balloon that is filled all the way, a medium blue balloon that is half full of air, and last a chip bag that is sealed, to the top of one the payloads. Next we will send the payload up over 100,000 feet on a high altitude balloon.



Hypothesis:



Green Balloon: i think that the green balloon will expand but it probity will not pop, because it is to small and it won't get big enough that it won't pop.



Orange Balloon: I think that the orange balloon will expand and will pop, because it is already full so when it expands more until it won't resist any more that it will pop.



Blue Balloon: I think that the blue balloon will pop because it is half full of air and when it expands it will pop.



Bag of Chips: I think that the bag of chips will not pop because it's not full of air that much and when it expands it will gust stretch and never pop.



What do you think will happen?



I think that when the balloons pop it will look cool how all the balloons pop at the same time. That is what I think.

The white balloon went up and as it went up the green balloon was expanding but it never popped it just expanded.







The orange balloon expanded a lot and when it expanded it looked like a big orange ball.









The blue balloon expanded so much that it looked like the orange balloon at first. Look here is a picture of the blue balloon.









The chip bag did expand but it did not pop it just made a little hole.
