The entertaining thing about coral reefs is that they are named like of how they look. There are two types of corals. One is a soft coral. The second one is a hard coral. They went up and down. Later on, he made traffic signals that had lights. The lights told the people when to stop and to go. Now there's no more traffic. So Mr. Morgans planned worked.

The Legend Of Nessie

Article posted March 1, 2010 at 07:40 PM GMT0 • Reads 111

In the book The Legend Of Nessie. The thing that mostly interested me was people made up lies and hoaxes that Nessie is real. In 1934 another hoax was pulled that there was a Nessie footprint and people discovered that it was only a hippopotamus toy to make the footprint. Another thing that I thought was interesting was back then people described sea monsters use to be so big they could swallow a ship. That's why this book is so interesting to me.

When we saw the mountain lion, June our guide said that Tonka, the mountain lion, could jump over a school bus in one jump. Also she that Tonka's favorite food was deer. Tonka's color of fur was like a mix of yellow and dark brown. He was coming closer to us then he was next to a tree and was marking his territory. June was really nice and was teaching us about each of the animals, about what they eat and why they were sent to Animal Ark. Then we went to go see my favorite animal of all the white tiger. His name was Khan. Khan was sleeping when we saw him. Then June our guide said that Khan was really strong and big. Also June said that his kind of tiger is the most highly endangered. Air Pressure

Article posted May 7, 2010 at 06:39 PM GMT0 • Reads 170

The soda can was on the hot plate and had a half inch of water. Then the air inside the can became steam. Then when you lift it off from the hot plate it cools down and nothing is pushing out. So then when you turn it upside down in the cold water, the can have to have the hole of the can in the water. So when you have it upside down the pressure of the air crushes the can.

My High Hopes Story

Article posted June 4, 2010 at 10:10 PM GMT0 • Reads 195

DSC03485

I was just sitting here in my box, when they took me off the shelf of the factory. I felt scared and frightened. Where are they taking me? Why are they taking me? All these questions came to my mind and my head started hurting. I felt like shouting, but instead I started crying STOPP SHAKIINNGG THE BOXXXXX!!! AHHH!!! It's so dark in hear!!! Can anybody hear me. Gosh I wish I wasn't so lonely sometimes in this tight squishing little box. What are they putting on the side of my box. There's a hole in the side of my box. I can take a peek at what there doing with my box. It looks like a big sticker. Why does it have letters that spell Agnes Risley School? I can see that they're putting me into a big machine that started making terrible noises that hurt my ears so bad. It has big wheels and it's says the balloon factory on it. Also it's all white. Finally it all stopped and everything was so silent. Someone is grabbing my box again. I felt like shouting again but instead I just stayed quiet.

DSC03486

Then I just looked out of the little hole and saw a long tall wooden thick stick with four long black metal legs. Then they set me on top of that long wooden metal thing. The box started shaking again and a pointy metal thing started cutting the hard stretchy tape. The tape ripped and I got really scared. What is that guy going to do to me? Is he going to eat me.

DSC03487

This big hairy hand started grabbing me and pulling me out of that tiny squishing box. I felt free and scared at the same time because when I looked down I was really high and I'm really, really scared of heights. I felt OK and alright but really it was so frightening I felt like he was going to let me go. Then the hairy hand pulled me and laid me on this pink plastic sheet on the long wooden metal thing. Then I heard a guy say the balloon is right here on the table. So that's how I knew what it was. It was a table. The big hairy hand grabbed me again and took me outside.

DSC03441

I felt really good being out of that squishing little box. Then he laid me on a long white plastic sheet on the grass. I heard a machine. It sounded like a fan blowing, instead that thing was blowing harder and harder then they put the tube inside me.

DSC06427

The gas is hurting me! Stop putting it in me! Turn it off! Please don't fill me up with hydrogen because I don't want to explode. Ok, now I'm really scared. STOP! STOP! Turn it off!

DSC06432

I'm getting bigger and bigger. I feel more alive, kind of, but oh I'm so scared. Please turn it off!! I feel kind of good because I have a lot of air inside me. Then they tied a small box to a string I have on. Don't let me go please, oh please!!!

DSC06488

Then they let me go. OH!! I'm so high now. I can't look down. To bad I don't have hands to cover my eyes with. OH maybe if I look down I won-'t b-e s-o-o s-c-a-r-e-d anymore.

DSC06489

OOOHH!!! OK! OK! I feel not that bad. Oh, it isn't so bad anymore. Ok, alright, I think I'm kind of getting use to it. I can't see those things with nasty hairy hands anymore. I am s.. o.. sc... sc..scared... Can somebody hear me? I want to get down!!!! It's getting so cold!!! To bad I can't cover my ears and nose because I don't have any hands. Not even a coat. Come on Divina just take peek, look down don't be scared. Focus. Focus. Just then I looked down and I didn't feel that bad anymore. But just then I could see the factory. BYE! BYE! factory feels so good not to be stuck in that little box. I'm getting kind of bored just floating here.

IMG_1904

But anyway I'm going way up high. How are you doing? I asked to a white puffy thing that looks like me but looks lighter and puffier and whiter and there was a lot of them. Then when I looked again they were under me. Why are you guys under me? Come back here. I guess they don't speak english. Oh well. Oh my goodness!! Everything looks pitch black am I dreaming or something. Here's my time to say good bye to the world. Oh I wish I would just float all the way down. Then I felt some thing rip inside of me and then pop. I went flying through the sky and It feels kind of nice because a lot of wind just hit my face. It's so scary because I'm gonna land hard and fast. I hope I land in a pool. It's been a hot day and a little breezy but still I need some cool water to land in. WHOOOO!!!!! and crash. That water was so cold!!!!!! That was a great day!!
