My Dad picks me up for Christmas to go spend time with him. When it is time for me to go I take my presents and open my presents. Some people trapped wolf to prevent them killing cattle and sheep. They shot them to catch them. They live in groups that are called packs. They have members of 5 to 9. The male and female leaders are called alphas. Wolfs hunt deer, elk, moose, and other animals. Pack members use the position of their ears, mouths, and tails to communicate. They also use barks, whimpers, and howls. Wolves smell and lick each other, too. They have a good sets of smell. The pups nurse for almost 2 months. Then they enjoy warm meals that their parents regurgitate for them.

We went to Wild Waters I got on the blue slide. I didn't have a life jacket, then my sister went on I pushed her, then I got on, and I didn't see her she pushed me I got scared. I was drowning,then the life guard came, then my mom came, the life guard and my mom save me, then we went home. My mom said you need a life jacket, I said yeah, so the next day of summer, I told my aunt can you take me to winco,to get change. she said “of course” so she drove their. Next, I told her can you take me to Wal-Mart she said “of course” so she drove their, then we walked to the ail finally I see the one we walk to the ail to get the life jacket, it was blue it wasn't dark it was light. Then two weeks pasted, my uncle invited me to his pool. I took my life jacket, so I could go to five feet. It was a BLAST!!!!

  I disagree Garrett Morgan wasted his time designing traffic signals. Garrett Morgan saw a car on the street hit a horse buggy. He saw the streets were not safe. Mr Morgan's traffic signals could also stop all the traffic. Then it was safe for people to cross the street. Mr. Morgan's plan worked. Garrett Morgan made the streets safe for people, horse buggies and cars. Mr. Morgan was a problem solver.

 I agree that many important things are made from plants and we couldn't live without them. No animals can live without green plants. Green plants give us food by using water, air, and sunlight. Another reason we can't live without green plants is that they give us oxygen. We need oxygen to breath. Many vitamins and medicine are made from plants. Clothing is woven using fibers from cotton and flax plants. Fabrics are colored by using dyes from many different plants. Plants are very important to us in many ways.

Chapter 1:

The Monroe family goes to a Dracula movie. At the movies they find a bunny, so they decide to bring it home and name it. They finally get home and their all are deciding what to name the bunny. Then Mrs. Monroe decides to name it Bunnicula sense they found it at a Dracula movie. So they name it Bunnicula.

 

Chapter 2:

The first night after the family goes to bed Chester (the cat) notices that Bunncula has fangs, a V-shaped pattern on his forehead, red eyes, a cape pattern on fur and that made Chester really suspicious.

 

Chapter 3:

Harold (the dog) is very bored because Chester and Bunnicula sleep all day. Chester fell asleep and Bunnicula was in the kitchen. Bunnicula has been in the refrigerator. Chester is suspicious. The Monroe family finds a white tomato. The white tomato is dry.

I saw a T.V. show and that reminded me of Bunnicula because their are two guys and they are reading a book about vampires. And this second show reminded me of Bunnicula because this guy finds a zucchini and hasn't ate it in a long time and it gets really old, so it turns white. This third show reminds me of Bunnicula because they buy a bunny and it looks weird.

Mr. Monroe is the father of the Monroe family. He has two children named Pete, and Toby. Mr. Monroe has a wife. His wife's name is Mrs. Monroe. Today we Skyped with a class in Brigantine, New Jersey. The students teacher couldn't stay because she had to go to a teacher conference. Their was a little five year old girl that asked us questions like, where do you live near to, and we said California Utah, Oregon, and Arizona. They said they live near the Ocean and their city was Brigantine, New Jersey. We were exited that we can finally Skype again. I asked them what is their favorite music. One girl said Justin Bieber. We asked them whats's their favorite food and one boy said pizza, sea food, cheese hamburger, hot dogs and many more. Where they live is hot in the summer it's 90 degrees hot just like us. Skyping is so fun.

Chester and Harold read a book called The Mark Of The Vampire. Chester tries to do what the book says. The book says, “to destroy a vampire and end it's reign of terror, it is necessary to pound a sharp stake into the vampires heart.”This must be done during the daylight hours when the vampire has no powers.” But Chester makes a big mistake and gets a meat steak. Chester is doing the best he can to pound it in his heart but of course it isn't a sharp stake. Then Mrs. Monroe sees Chester trying to pound the meat in to Bunnicula, and Mrs. Monroe tells Harold, “pore you and Bunnicula you guys had a rough day today” then Mr. Monroe tells Mrs. Monroe I think Harold should have the meat steak. And Harold is really exited, so then they tell Chester that he should sleep outside, so he does.

The book Bunnicula is about a family called the Monroe family. One day the Monroe family goes to the movies and they watch a Dracula movie. Toby the son can't decide where to sit so he finally decides. And sits on a seat and sees a bunny.

They take it home and name it. When they get home Mrs. Monroe say's let's name it Bun Bun? Toby says oh oh their she goes again. Where does she get them from?

Yuck they all said then Mrs. Monroe says well then Fluffy. Pete looked at his mother and smiled. Then they tell Mrs. Monroe oh will you give up alright. But she wouldn't. She would say how about Prince? Then after a sudden moment of silence then Toby says we Found him at a Dracula movie so lets call him Dracula.

Thats a stupid name said Pete their other son. Toby says well you know what I'm the one who found him so I should get to name him. And Pete says mom your not gonna let him get to choose Bunnicula's because that will be favoritism and I will be traumatized if you do. So Mrs. Monroe decides to name it Bunnicula since they found him at a Dracula movie and because he is a bunny.   

 

Animal Ark *Field Trip*

Today we went on a field trip to Animal Ark. Their was a women named June. She was our guide. We saw different kinds of animals. We saw a tiger named Milo. Milo got hit by a car two times in the winter. When we were done with that we saw other animals, like an arctic fox the arctic fox eats berries and fruit. They are white in the winter, and gray in the summer. When we had seen all of the animals we went outside to eat lunch. When were eating lunch we were talking to our friends. When when we were done eating we got on the bus and left to go to school. I enjoyed it.

On Tuesday 5/4/10 we did a project. It was interesting, because we had soda cans on a hot plate.  We let it boil, and Mr. Crosby our teacher chose a student so they could grab the soda can with tongs and flip it over. Christian was the first one to flip it over and when we put it in a plastic tray of water it collapsed.

Mr. Crosby lit the top of the paper. The paper started melting and when the paper fully melted it flew up with a few fire. And slowly came down with no fire.

I live in Sparks, Nevada, and my "High Hopes" for school

include getting a education , and learn to use instruments in

6th grade. But my Highest Hope for school is to Graduate high school .

community include to have jobs, and have stores to buy

stuff, and to have hospital. But my Highest Hope for my community is to have police for protection.

 

My "High Hopes" for the world include people to stop violence and live in peace, and stop littering and we could save many animals. But my Highest Hope for the world is to stop the hunger and give people food.

Our Balloon Launch

People where taking pictures, where putting hydrogen (gas) in the balloon, 6^th graders and 5^th graders had came out to see it, after a wile the a middle school came out to watch it, some newspaper people came and where taking pictures. Called the airport to see if there were any planes landing if not we would launch, when two airplanes where done landing we waited about five minutes, when we waited five minutes we counted down, then we launched it was going up and up everyone was waving when was going up in the sky, we stayed there for a few minutes, the came into class and people from the university came to Mr. Taylor's class to ask questions about the balloon. They went to all of the classes to see if have questions. He went to are class we told him a few questions. That was so much fun!!!

   (Tis is how high our balloon went!!!)

Balloon Story

I was sitting in a small, uncomfortable, brown box. Light was streaming into my box when a knife was cutting the box opened. I could tell when the box was opening because I had could see a hand. The hand scared me. I was frightened! When the top of the box opened I was so scared. What if I

I fall or hit my head so hard or something? I have waited for this time so long I was so happy. But now I'm so scared! I had just came out of the box. I could finally stretch and feel the wind blowing me. What is happening? I was so worried. They started counting down and as I heard three, two, one ,zero! Everyone was waving. I felt special. Now I was getting worried. My stomach started feeling uncomfortable. I felt the wind pushing me. As I wondered I was saying to myself oh my gosh I felt like I would explode. I was seeing the beautiful clouds. I was seeing the clouds I thought I was surrounded by cotton candy! I wish. I saw so many beautiful pictures when I was up in the beautiful sky. I got really good views. As I was up in the air I was thinking what if i would fall and hit my head. I was slowly coming down. It took forever to come down, it was probably 30 minutes. When I was coming down I thought I wouldn't hit the ground so hard. I was so worried of what would happen to me. What if they never find me? Now that is what i was really worried about. As I was coming down I was thinking about of hitting my head. What if I did hit my head or did not? I didn't I would be so happy! I was coming down and down. Oh my gosh! I thought wrong. I hit my head and my body so bad. I waited so long? When they took so long thats when I thought that they wouldn't come for me. I was wrong on that too. When are they going to come and get me I wondered? I was shocked when they came and got me. That was the best day of my life! I would never forget that day when I flew up in the air. That was the best day of my life! I saw so many clouds. So many beautiful pictures. It was so dark. It was pitch black. It was a blast!!! Hi i'm Brianna the balloon.

What Im going to do this summer!!!

On Wednesday 9^th we are gonna get out of school!!! I am hoping to go to California, and Mexico!!! First I want to go to California to see my grandma and grandpa. Then go to Mexico to see my aunts, uncles, and family members. California is very fun, and it is hot in the summer!!! But mexico is very, very hot and fun. Me and my family always have fun there. We explore many stuff over there. I don't know so much spanish but every time. But every time I go to Mexico I learn more!!! And that is how I want to spend my summer!!!

How Much Our Classed Earned For Free Rice

On the last day of school, we added up the amount our whole class had. Mostly every kid had somewhere in the thousands, I had a lot of rice. Our whole class amount together was 239,640!!! My table had 25,180!!! My table added it all together and thats how we got 25,180 grains of rice. Free Rice is very fun. There are a lot of subjects. We either do English vocabulary, or we do English grammar!!! You should do free rice if you don't!!!

Our balloon Project

One sunny day in 4^th grade our amazing teacher had told us we were gonna do a balloon project, we were surprised that we were going to to a ballon project! We had blogged about it and wrote about it. Mr.Crosby had told us launch a balloon! Mr.Crosby had blogged about it too He had about one hundred-eight views! Finally the day had came we were going to do the balloon project, and launch the balloon. So the day we were going to launched the balloon all 4^th grade student went outside, there were 5^th and 6^th graders, and students parent watching us getting ready to launch it. We had a payload attached to the balloon, and in the payload was a camera in the payload! We also had our strato card. We were going to launch the balloon, all the kids were counting three two one zero, the balloon was up in the sky! We went back to our class and started working on our ballon story. The camera had took lots of beautiful pictures! We had seen pictures like, Pyramid lake, the blue sky and the white clouds. My best one was the picture of pyramid lake. We had finished the book and our strato card. On the last day of school we had took the book home!!!

Maniac Magee

 

The main thing about Maniac Magee is that he was born in a ordinary house in Bridgeport. Maniac Magee's parents died when he was three years old. Now he lives with his Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot. Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot were constantly fighting. They would had two of everything and would not share anything. Maniac Magee was sick of them fighting, so he decided to run away. Ever since he had ran away nobody has seen him in a year, he had ran two-hundred miles. But the most interesting thing about Maniac Magee is that he was born in a ordinary house.

 

The great thing about Maniac Magee is that he caught a football when having a book in his hand. Maniac Magee had meet a girl named Amanda Beale. Maniac was had sat on Finsterwald's steps people had thought he was crazy for sitting on Finsterwald's steps. He had also gone on Finsterwald's backyard. Maniac Magee had rescued Arnold Jones. Maniac Magee had ate spaghetti with the Pickwells. He had ran in a railroad rail. Manic Magee had hit home run off of John McNabb. But the awesome thing about Maniac Magee is that he caught a football when having a book in his hand.
