Hi my name is Jack.  My class partner Connor and I are reading the book Stones in Water.   The book takes place during the Holocaust.   In the beginning of the book, a boy named Roberto and his two friends, Samuel and Memo, go to the movies.  Samuel is a Jewish boy.  During the movie, German soldiers bust in the theater and capture everyone in the theater.  They shout at the people and make them line up to get on a train.  Stop and stop...more people and German soldiers get on the train.  One boy yells that he wants to get off the train, then three more boys start yelling with him.  Suddenly, bang! bang! bang! bang!  All four boys that were yelling were shot dead.  Roberto, Memo, and Samuel now realized they were being taken to a German soldier camp...

Right now in Stones In Water it's going terrible for Enzo and Roberto because first of all while Roberto was in the middle of  stealing eggs from the hens a German caught him so he got moved to a new camp. At this new camp its freezing so the boys use anything to get warm. Then the worst possible thing happens for Roberto, over night Enzo was not warm enough so Enzo died from being to cold...

Hey, it's Jack again. I just gave my partner the quiz we had to give each other and he got 8/10 (80%. I pretty much got the answers I expected. He said the questions I gave him were quite fair, but he said "one was confusing though" (he got that one wrong). I learned to not use really challenging words while I was writing questions.
