Assignment #1

My partner and I are reading the book, Behind the Bedroom Wall. I think that in the book, the main character so far is Korinna. Korinna is a thirteen year old girl. She seems sweet and caring and it also seems like she doesn't quite know what to do between helping out her mom at home or going to meetings with her friends. Korinna is going to be a nice girl. I know that Korinna is going to be the protagonist of the story because so far in the story Korinna has been on almost every page of the story and it seems that the story is revolving around Korinna. That is why I think Korinna is the protagonist of the story so far. The actress I would pick to play Korinna in a movie would be Abigail Breslin because she had the same sweet, cute effect as Korinna. Abigail has also been in many movies. That is the actress that I would choose to be in Korinna in the book "Behind the Bedroom Wall."

Assignment #3

In the story "Behind the Bedroom Wall," the auther is narrating the story. I don't think that this was the best way to tell the story, but as a reader it still made me want to keep reading the book. I think that the conflict in the story is Man against Society/Rules because Korinna doesn't like how her parents are going against the law by taking in Jews. So, they are breaking the rules, which would go into the conflict Man against Society/Rules.

In the book, "Behind the Bedroom Wall" the author is keeping me very involved in the story. The author is also using various ways to help me visualize what is happening. One of the ways is that she makes her pictures pop into my head, is that he details so clear and crisp that I don't have the littlest doubt that I don't know what is going on.

I enjoyed reading the book, "Behind the Bedroom Wall." I was not ready for the book to end. It was a surprise of how it ended. I really don't think that it was satisfying. I have so many questions I would love to ask the author, about how and where Korinna's family went. If there was a sequel I would buy it, and if there wasn't a sequel I encourage the author to right one! I loved reading to book, "Behind the Bedroom Wall."
