This other character is named Memo. Memo is Roberto the main character's friend. Memo plays the role as Roberto's friend and the person who lends money to people such as Roberto because he's the only one of the two with a job. Memo is also the smartest one of the two and came to think of bright ideas in difficult situations!

Stones in Water #3

There is one person who tells this story of stones in water, the nararator. The nararator is actually a better person to tell this story other than the main character because each time the nararator refers to the characters, he refers to them as their name. If the story teller was Roberto, the main character, it would be somewhat confusing every time he says I or me and I wouldnt really know who Roberto's talking about. In the book the conflict is man vs. man because Roberto, the main character, Enzo and Memo are fighting against all the soldiers, not physically, but strategically. They are trying to find a way out of the camp they are stuck in. They might be going to war, as so they think.

The author kept me involved in the story by multiple ways. The author really grasped me as a reader and made me want to keep reading. He/she also used similes and metaphors to really help me understand what is going on in the story. The author also had cliffhangers leaving me hangin'. The author described every single scene or character to help me visualize what is going on in the scene. He described it by the background, the size, shape, and color. The author really makes me feel as if I am one of the characters in the book.

Stones in Water Connor and Jack #8

The turning point in Stones in Water was when one of the main charaters, Enzo dies. I could predict that one of the main charaters would die because it's the Holocaust and millions of people die during the Holocaust. I could also predicted it because the main characters did not have alot of warm clothing and it was the beginning of winter and winter can be freezing and since they have little clothing they could easily get frost bite and freeze to death.

Stones in Water #9 The Final Blog

This is the last blog of the year! The end of Stones in Water is not satisfying for me unless he comes out with a series or sequel. In the end of the book the author just leaves you hanging with dozens of quetions asking yourself. Does he ever find his parents? Will he get home? Will he survive the treturous never-ending as it seems Holocaust? There's so many quetions to be answered that the author should definitely, one-hundred percent make a sequel or at least another book. THATS A WRAP!
