Hola me(Emily)and my partner(Michelle)are doing this blogging for school. We have to read a book and then do assignemnts on here. The book we're reading is called "The Upstairs Room." It's about the Holocaust. We think that Annie (I accidently read the first chapter) and her family have to move because they are Jews. I (Emily) think that maybe one of them get separated from one another and the Nazi finds one of them. Stay tuned and find out what happens next!!!

Chapter 2

Hey it's Emily again, in chapter two, Annie and her family move to the new house. Her father bought a new dog. His name is Bobbie. Annie sees a farm near her new house and she meets a boy named Fritz. Her mom doesn't want Annie hanging out. The reason being because he is not that smart. Her mom is still very sick and I think that she will pass away soon. Stay tuned!!

Chapter 4

The setting of the book has changed from place to place, but now they are in a house and they are in an upstairs room so that's how the book got its name. The time is New Years. Rachel decided that she wasn't coming anymore, and their mom DID pass away. I thought that she would pass away soon, but knowing that it would happen and when it did happen, it was much worse. The way that the story is effected is because Annie and Sini are the only ones there along with the family that lives there. I think that her father will die soon because he is alone and that it is very possible that a Nazi will find him and hurt him and maybe kill him. That's all for now I'll update you in a couple days!

Hello people of earth its Emily again! I don't think that the book I'm reading relates to the other books because Annie and Sini are still in the cave and they haven't gone to a concentration camp, but their sister is out in the world as a Jew and she could get herself into trouble. Their mom has died and her dad is out in the world and getting himself into trouble. I'm really getting into this book even though its easy!

HOLA!!!! Hi peeps reading this! I want to say thanks to Kate for commenting, but the turning point is when Annie had saw the Nazi! I thought that he was going to take Annie and Sini away! But he didn't. Johan said that she was their niece, and that she was shy. Oooohhh and they went home!! The war ended!
