1. I do not agree that he should like poems because poems can be different lengths so if he dosen't like to write poems then he could just write a really short poem.

2. When I picture a poet I picture a person with a pencil and a sheet of paper writing.

3. I thought this book was going to be a book with all different poems by different pepole but it is about a person and why he dosn't like poems.

1. Jack doesn't want to write poems because he thinks only girls write poems, but everyone can.

2. I think the blue car is important to Jack because he could like blue cars.

3. Miss Stretchberry is so interested in Jack's first poem because he could be good a writing poems especially about the blue car.

1. DOGS

So much depends on

dogs

White as the snow

can get as dirty as the mud

Loud as airplane

blazing it's engine

Beside the black cold cage.

2. I think Miss Stretchberry wants Jack to write a poem about a pet because she might want to hear about some of the pets he might have had.

3. I would make the book better because if it was not good no one would buy it. I would not make the book longer because some pepole don't like long books. I would like to have conversations with Jack and his teacher. I would add more characters to make the book more interrseasting.

1. Jack borrows a lot of other peoples work because he can't think of his own words.

2. Yes, I could help him devolpe into his own style because he could think of his own words by using the poets words to help him get started.

3. He draws the line bettween someone else poems when he starts copying every word.

4.He might have a hard time sharing his work because he might think they will laugh. I have a hard time sometimes if I think I did pretty good then I will share it other wise I won't.

1. I was taughT poetry by a girl named Rachle she came into our school last year and taught us how to write poems.

2. I imagine Miss Strechberry as a nice teacher. I think Miss Strechberry would tell or write Jack and say you are a very good poetry.
