My Favorite Place to Read

Article posted September 13, 2010 at 09:34 PM GMT0 • Reads 73

Have you ever considered reading in your room? well, I like to read upstairs in my bedroom because it’s very warm in my bedroom because of my Leopard Gecko’s heat lamp and my bedroom is upstairs and because het rises it is warm in my bedroom. I like it warm because it comforts me. In my bedroom I also have a desk light that makes it easier to read because it is not too bright and not to dim. It is also pretty quite upstairs except for the people yelling outside and children playing and screaming or the screeching of the swings.

It is comfortable in my bedroom with my mother’s house cat and lots of pillows. Its also were I can hide my books and library books so my sisters do not draw in them. I am able to hide them in my lockers that my grandparent gave to me that was extra lockers from his work. I don’t read all the time but I will read every once and a while. I hope you have a calming, quite, comfortable, place to read like I do.

A Book I Read

Article posted October 7, 2010 at 09:48 PM GMT0 • Reads 91

Books are not exactly my favorite activity chose in the world, but I do like to read sometimes even though I don’t show it. I usually read a fantastic book called Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I enjoy reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid because it is a hysterical book and is entertaining to read at night. Sometimes I just read it to get away from things that are unpleasant in my life. I can also relate to the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid because I am a kid in middle school as well as the main character Greg Hefley is.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about a young boy named Greg Hefley who is a student at a middle school. In school Greg goes through some tough situations through out the year, but with his friend Rowley by his side anything is possible. Greg and Rowley aren’t exactly the coolest kids in school, but they learn that being cool isn’t exactly everything in life and that anything that happens in school doesn’t matter but that friendship matters the most. This book was a fascinating book to me but also relates to me and I think this book might be a good choice for you.
