Making Connections to myself

Making Connections means that someone is able to relate the story they are reading to their own lives.

Making Connections helps you link what you already know with what is new in the text.

Making connections is important because in Marley and Me, the book that I am reading, Marley gets sick and has to get put down and that’s what happened to my aunt’s dog. It made us all very sad!

What would I put in a Timecapsule

I would put a picture of my sillybands,my ds, a wii, my dog, and my baby sister so they could see that I love those things.

I think that everybody in fourth grade should do read to self. It's about where you read to yourself for as long as you can. Your teacher will come up to you while you are reading and she will start asking you about what your book is about and what skills you are working on and I picked vocabulary to work on for my strategy.

The title of my book is Teacher's Pet.Its about this dog named Scout.He is a guied dog.The person he guieds is a teacher his name is Mr.Carlson.When Maggie and her mom were going around the corner Mr.Carlson went out to cross the street and they got ran over.And also Mr.Carlson is blind.

It was a very nice day on November 19 2010 me and my friend Meagan Rex were walking home.Then we got to my house and there sat my new baby sister Morgan Nicole Jipson. I asked my grand ma mabel if i could hold her and she said go ask your mom and she said yes but go wash your hands first.A few mins later Megan asked my mom if she could hold her she said yes so meagan went to go wash here hands.Then she got crabby so i helped my mom make a bottle.Then it was time to go to my dads for the weekend but then i got to see her on Sunday when i came home from my dads

It was a very good start in are classroom.Until the big fist fight came.It all started with Lester and Manny.Lester and Manny got in the biggest fist fight in the whole world.Manny said Lester started it but really Manny started it.Then Lester had to go to the hospital and then once he recoverd he had to go right to the principal. All beacuse of Manny Lester got in big trouble from his parents and got grouned for a month.Poor Lester :{.

It all started when i was outside playing with my dog Chance.Lily came buy on her bike and started saying mean things to me.She was calling me brat,dumb.It made me really sad:(I didn't want to tell my mom because i didn't want lily to call me a tattletale.So I walked in the house crying.My mom said whats wrong?I said nothing because i didn't want to tell then my mom tell Lily's mom and then she would call me tattletale.The next day i went to school.I was really down.My techer Mrs.Stepahns asked me what was wrong.I was thinking im going to be strong and tell her.Lily has been being mean to me.Shes been calling me names.Mrs.Stephans told me to go to the counsler.I had to tell her what was wrong. So i told her.Well it all started when i was playing outside with my dog Chance.She came riding on her bike and started calling me mean names like brat,dumbo and stuff like that.Oh i see.I will have a serious talk with her.Oh please dont tell her i told you all of this please.Why?She will call me a tattletale.Well im going to half to talk to her sooner or later.Ok fine.If she start's calling you a tattletale you just come right back up to me and ill have another talk with her.So what am i suppose to do before you have a talk with her.Because she will still call me names?Well years went on and now Lily is my friend.

Hi me and my friend Misty are Brownies.My name is Lexi.Misty hates school and loves to scatebord.Lexi hates school to and loves to hang out with friends.Lexi and Misty live together under somebodys bed.We have dust as our pillow.His mommy vacuums alot so we half to hide so we dont get sucked up.I love my brownie friend Misty.I will cry if she ever gets sucked up.If Lexi or Misty ever dies we would have the best brownie funeral in the whole world.Also if Misty or Lexi ever dies we will cry are eyes out. :(Well thats all i really half to say theres not much else about us so bye
