Finding A Kitten Plus More



On November 4 2008 my birthday it was raining very strongly. Around resses time the rain stopped raining.Me Kurtis and jessica went looking in holes!I went first I piked the hole under the big oak tree!I stuck my hands in felt some thing warm and wet and furry I said guess what I found and I pulled up a muddy kitten!We ran to our teacher miss.martinez!Once we got there she said wash her off and get some pody pads from the kiddy gardeners so we got to work!Once we were done the class came in they asked what was in my hands miss.martinez said a kitten Isabella found a kitten!So the whole class named her Nana I love Nana I have had her for three years now she has became part of the family!!!!You guys probably want to know what color she is she is blonde and black!Over the years I have saved two other kittens there sisters I named them suger and spice I thought that would be funny=http://

Maniac Magee

The most interesting fact about Maniac Magee he was born in an ordinary house in bridgeport, his parents died when he was 3 years old, he lived with is uncle and aunt but he had ran away from home when he was only 11 but he ran 200 miles his sole of his shoes were like a dog tung going up,and down, up and down his cloths were dirty and he smelled but he loved reading books!



What I thought was brave of him to do is go into Finstrwalds backyard and get Arnold jones (witch is not his real name) and sit on his forbidden front door steps he also meet amanda bale and got a book from her and caught a football with one hand!Also ran a home run from John McNabb ,ate spaghetti with the Pickwells and ran ON the railroad tracks also he bunted a frog=http://!

What is energy? Energy is some thing is type of source of power and a type of powered thing like a TV or a car or a washer and dryer!



Were do see or experience energy? You can experience energy in your home or in the car you find it in your home you can find it in a store the lights the TV or the remote to change channels!Also energy runs through out your entire house!but you can also see it on TV!

Getting a kitten on Chrismas!

When I was eight I really wanted a kitten but my birthday had already passed . But Christmas was right around the corner! I was like three in the Morning when my mom caught me on the laptop! I cant believe my mom took it away form me! But just at that second I heard some one on the roof I was about to scream when my mom said time o open the presents I was so so so excited but I wondered who was on the roof? But at that moment I did not want to think about that! So I ran to the humane society box and I screamed when I saw a black kitten I was so excited it was the perfect gift I have ever gotten in my whole life!!

When I was five I wanted to be a obscuration and a Marine biologist! My favorite kind of toy when I was five was baby alive and American girl dolls! My fave animal when I was five was a prairie dogs! My favorite hiding spot was in my papas closet there was a secret room just in case of a kid napper I slept in there! My best Friend when I was five is Jessica she is still my friend!!! My favorite things are bean and cheese burritos and horse back riding!



Now I want to be a Marine biologist! Now I like to play with boutique Friend dolls with my little sis! My favorite animal is a megalodon (type of shark)! also my new favorite hiding spot is in there still in my grand pa’s closet! My new best Friends are Jessica,Kurtis,Sabrina,Brianna,Claudia,and Andrew also Rachael.M!!! Now I like to go swimming and horseback riding,and jet skying by my self!

Seeing Ghosts!

Hello my name is Isabella and I see things people can’t see. Manley paranormal things like dead people. It all happened when I went to the fortuneteller and she whispered to me “Dreams are a window into your soul.” my luck changed with a blink of an eye. I went to sleep that night not knowing what to expect the next morning!



Well the next day was not at bad as it sounds. Well it was first it was the Cereal next it was the milk then it all poured on top of me! Plus on the way to school it was a big rock was thrown at my head and it really HURT ok ok it was not a big rock it was a pebble but that did hurt but no one was there!



So it got worse that after noon! It was when I got a feeling that I was being watched! Plus I was being watched=http:// I found out the next night that was being watched and i went to the bathroom and saw a ghostly figure!

The Night Of Thanksgiving!

The night before Thanksgiving there was a turkey gobbling in the butcher shop! But lets get back to the story!



I love the smells coming out of the kitchen. I hear mom saying go get ready our guests are going to be hear soon of course I say Ok mom! Then I go up stairs and got on my dress! After that I go down stairs and I a really hungry but just then I saw my cusion walk in the door and I was so happy! Then I tell my mom I am going out to play she says ok be home by five o’clock! And we set off across the street to Terry's and Ashley's house and we play Terry’s wii !



We also play soccer and we also go over to Antony's and ask wanna play soccer? But then it is time for dinner! I am starving so when we walk in I literally scarf down my food but I feel like I am going to EXPLODE but the food it’s just melting in my mouth the honey ham tastes like a bee hive the potatoes tastes like a creamy ice cream!



But I really want to eat pumpkin pie! But my mom said I can’t because I am to over stuffed it was supposed to be a joke! And after they all cleared up they went home and we went to go watch t.v and go to bed!

First when we got to the mall I was so excited because I was going to sit on Santa's lap! I was crying because I was scared of everything!



I was just so happy my face was red! But my mom said the line was long so I started to cry!I said I don’t want to talk to my mom again but she said we will go to build a bear work shop!



So I decided to talk to her again! But I was still kind of mad at her!

But that did no t matter I really wanted a build a bear but then my dad said that I could take a picture with Santa ,so I did and I also got my build a bear!

I was so scared I almost threw up in my moms new esclade! She told me to calm don just at that second I found my sister pulling me back into the black back part of the car!

Then she said that we have to get dressed and so we did! Then I decided to go after my mom said after she would take us out to lunch!

I was so happy because it is rare that we get to go out and eat!

But all of a sudden I fell out of the car my sister was laughing away also running away!

I was so mad but then I found out I had to run to the recital!

So I started to run like the wind!

Whew I made it on time I said but then my sister was not there but she had all ready gone out onto the stage!

So when I got onto the stage I had a knot in my stomach!

But the I knew I could do it so I started dancing like a rock star!

The Time I Got To Meet Johnny Depp And Go To Disney World!

When we arrived in Disney world I was so happy because I was going to meet Johnny Depp and ride a hole lot of fun rides! So when Nana and Papa, and me arrived, I asked can we go to the tunnel car my Nana said NO because she was tired and she wanted to go rest I said I know but we wont be able to any more or they will be packed but she looked like a pack mule plus she is 57 and my papa is 58 so I guess I really don't understand how they feel yet!



Then I got really upset and ran off inside a tunnel car it smelled like cologne I saw a familiar figure it looked like Johnny Depp (I think I fainted) but it was just a look a like so I was kind of upset I really wanted to meet Johnny Depp but he said were are your parents I said I ran off so the tunnel car started to go faster and faster as we raced to the station! When we got there I found my Nana and Papa at the station and they thanked johnny’s look a like then Finally we got to go see Johnny Depp and I got to hug him and have lunch with him and that was the most exciting thing that happened to me so have you ever had some thing exciting happen to you leave a comment bellow to tell me thanks!

This Is The Time I Got To Go Camping!

First we all had to pack we were going to go to Davis Creek!

I thought that would be scary because that night Nay Nay told me that there were cereal monsters on the loose so I thought that they would steal our breakfast I said I would kick their tails if they touched my Captain Crunch I think I just wanted seem like I was strong! But I was more afraid than brave so every hour we did head check of course I was the one who had to do It I was the oldest in the boys and girls the only difference is that the boys were Manley 7,8 and the girls were Manley 2,7 and including me 11 years old! But thought out the night I had to go to the bath room but the kids did not want to go with me so I stayed wait thing for morning Finley I got the nerve to wake my cousin up he is a boy and he is 8 and asked if he could watch the little kids while I went pody he said fine so I ran to the bathroom with my phone then I got a call from my cousin Tristan he said he heard something move out side and it was freaking him out I was saying to lock the tent I would be right back so when I was walking back I saw some one trying to get in my tent so I ran and jumped on him and he sounded like my uncle brad I started laughing and got off him he had a fur coat on and I guess I did not recognize him at first in the dark and he said why would you leave the kids alone with nobody around I said I left Tristan in charge! Also he called me once plus I really had to go pody! But he said fine but call me next time! And so that is the last time I went camping so far! So now I know that the thing on the cereal monster is just a joke but they can come to life on a full moon! Brothers Bunny!

“Ok so I was wondering can I get a bunny?” I asked my mom but she said “after what just happened with your cat getting stuck in the garage!” So I just stoped asking on that subject and started asking “what chores do I have to do to get a BUNNY!” My mom said” NO” and I was up to my room for the night. The next morning I woke up to my mo being gone and my step dad was still there but I had to go to school! Finally when I got home I was not allowed in my room so I went out side and heard my little sister say “wella mommy got a bunny for you!” I was supper surprised but I ran inside and asked mom “can I go inside my room now” she said “fine but don’t scream!” So I ran into my room and saw a little cage and a bunny running around in it I was so happy that I finally got a bunny! I love my bunny to death but there is some thing I should probaley tell you it is my Brothers bunny! It was mine at first I did get the bunny but he really wanted one so I gave it to him!

How I almost fell off a roof!

There was this one day in Napa where my mom was on a business trip and me and my dad were stuck at home so I got put down for a nap (I was only 4) so as I was in my room I was excited it was Easter but I really wanted to go and read a book but when I did I saw a butterfly and I was leaning on my screen when it snapped and I went flying down the roof with it I was so scared I was screaming for my dad I tried climbing up but I burned my hand and so I was stuck between life and DEATH! I was so scared then i heard a cracking sound the pipes were going to drop then finally my dad came rushing in I had a great relief but my troubles were far from over when I saw him I started yelling“ I’m gonna fall!” My dad said” no your not grab my hand then the pipes fell just as my dad pulled me up he layed me on my bed with my burned hand and my bloody nees and legs! He ran and grabbed the first aid kit and he bandaged me up and layed me down to go to sleep I was done for the day!

Then I went to school and all my friends asked “what happened to you?” then my dad had to explain what you just read!

As We Were Boarding The SS Ocean Diver And ...

As we were boarding the Ocean Diver train in 1870 in mid summer I did not know what to expect what to happen while we were on the train. Once I was in my seat I thought why is there scuba gear in the train and why was the green wet stuff on my seat? All of a sudden the person next to me said “get on your bathing suit and the scuba gear!” I asked “why” he said “do you know any thing about the Ocean Diver Train?” And of course said “No do you?” he said “a little bit” and after we were done we started to move faster and faster until every thing stoped I felt as if I were 1 pound and like I was a feather! Then I started to see giant wales and great white sharks then I finally noticed that I was under water and I was starting to stick to the train the reason why the seat was wet was because it was supper sticky glow seats for people that have never been in so deep in under water then we saw the HamsterGerbilpigbatdogfish! But then he screamed “DOTS I LOVE DOTS!” and we all were screaming “ GO AWAY GO AWAY WE DON’T HAVE ANY DOTS!” but then he started to cry and said “I just wanted some body to play DOTS with” and started to run away then we saw a glow he had come back with his mom and dad and they started yelling at us saying” YOU PLAY DOTS WITH DOTS K” then we got out of the sub and we had to go play with Dots then we heard a really loud sound it was the giant whale it was going to be eating Dots so I ran and put dots in the train and we rode back to shore and Dots said “thank you for saving Dots life!” then I said “You're welcome Dots!” Also I thought id never see dots again I think he is happy back in the ocean as a fiction creature!!! But I do truly miss him! But he always comes to me in my dreams!

The Time I Had To Get Stiches!

There was this one time when I was trying to do a cherry bomb at school after a field trip in second grade and I fell and landed head first on the wood chips. It hurt really bad and I was knocked out. I woke up screaming and I had blood all over me so Mrs. Forbert came over and took me to the nurse! They called my Mom and Dad and I went straight to the hospital. While I was there my godfather was there at the hospital. He is a heart surgeon but came down to see me because he was worried that I was really hurt. All I got were two stitches while I was waiting to get the stitches I got numbed up but it did not hurt that much but I was really glad the nurse kept on talking to me and that the doctor stitched up my lip. After you get to have all the ice cream you want. Isin’t that cool! But I was glad the nurse helped me and the doctor helped me too!

Hypothesis:

Green Balloon – I think that the Green Party Balloon will get larger but not POP.



Blue Balloon - I think that the Blue Party Balloon will get almost full but not POP.



Orange Balloon – I think that the Orange Party Balloon will Pop because it is big right now and of all the pressure.



Bag Of Chips – I think the Bag Of Chips will POP because of all the pressure and because it has more weight that it might come lose and fall.

Ok I know a lot of you have been asking what happened were did it land so lets get through the basics first!


Description:We are going to be sending up a high altitude balloon over 100,000 feet and under the balloon there is a parachute and under the parachute we will be sending payloads and on those payloads we will fill A Green Party Balloon 1/4 then were going to attach two more Balloons, A Blue Balloon about 1/2 way and A Orange Balloon and almost full, then we have a Snack Size Cheetos bag that will hopefully POP!





Then after we will be watching were the balloon will be going on a tracking device and then after we retrieve it we will look at the pictures it took and how much video it took too!





Hypothesis:


Green Balloon – I think that the Green Party Balloon will get larger but not POP.


Results- What really happened to the Green Balloon


The Green balloon stretched out and then it froze then finally it shirked back to its normal size but did not pop,





Blue Balloon - I think that the Blue Party Balloon will get almost full but not POP.


What really happened to the Blue Balloon


On the way up the Blue Balloon poped and then flew off in near space!








Orange Balloon – I think that the Orange Party Balloon will Pop because it is big right now and of all the pressure.

The Orange balloon popped and then it got bigger and bigger then could not take it any more then it burst!














Bag Of Chips – I think the Bag Of Chips will POP because of all the pressure and because it has more weight that it might come lose and fall.


Resluts What really happened to the Chip Bag


The Chip Bag did not pop but it got a tiny hole in it and so it did not pop it just got a hole in it but we found alot more holes but do not think that is how the air escaped!





Balloon Experiment Results








Story - Written by: Isabella High Hopes Balloon


I wondered where the the High Altitude Balloon landed? That was in the afternoon but let me take you in the morning when I woke up! When I woke up in the morning I remembered that today was the day we launch our high altitude balloon. Once I got to school I told my mom to go check into the office and then we went into the class room , then after we rounded off the edges of the paper that the High Hopes that were printed off of, we ate breakfast ,we went outside and went to go launch the Balloon. Then I heard my mom say “Bella record the Balloon!” Then you could hear nothing but all the little kids screaming “LET IT GO”. Then we stared counting down 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO . Then after a little while we couldn’t see the balloon any more because it was going north west then went south east in the air! Then I heard Mr.Crosby say “ I see our Balloon and Echo Loaders Balloons too!” After the graduate students and Dr. Lacombe and Dr.Wang cleaned up what they had brung then they had come into the class room with us and answered a couple of questions! One of those questions were “ What is a H.O.B.O ?” Dr.Wang answered “ A hobo is a person that lives on trains!” Then Nathan said “ No the one that goes into a balloon!” Dr.Wang answered “ Oh that name came from the company!” Then we were tracking it and after two hours the balloon stoped at 620 feet and that had meant it POPPED and already came down! Then when we got back from lunch, Mr.Crosby said “ Well Mr.Taylor said that they found were the balloons are and we will get it tomorrow”! Then we found out that it had landed in a SECRET MILITARY BASE and I am not even suppose to be telling you this but that is where it landed! And so the army had to ask them a whole bunch of questions cause it was a little fishy cause they were testing something very secret! Then after they deleted all the pictures of their secret base off the cameras, they gave them back our payloads and then it was around 8:30 P.M! After they got back to the University of Nevada Reno (UNR) Mr.Crosby had to go and get the balloon and all the payloads!
