The Funny Turkey

Article posted November 19, 2010 at 07:42 PM GMT0 • Reads 612

Once there was a turkey named Fluff. She was heavy. She was a picky eater too. When she is scared she runs fast. She was also wise. She is strong too. She lived in a farm.

One day, and it was almost Thanksgiving the farmer tried to cook up the turkey. "Two more days until Thanks giving everyone!" the farmer said. The turkey was dancing. The farmer said, "Silly Fluff why are you dancing?" Fluff just said, "Gobble Gobble!" The farmer said, "Let's just go inside." The farmer told his wife, "Lets cook the turkey for Thanksgiving. The wife said, "Good idea! Then the wife told Fluff, "Come here, I want to cook you up!" Fluff looked surprised. Fluff started running in a circle. The farmers are named Mr. And Mrs. Tray. Mr. And Mrs. Tray said, "GET THAT TURKEY!" The turkey ran all over the place, until she spotted corn. Fluff ran where the corn is. Then Mr. and Mrs. Tray said, "Where did that turkey go?" Fluff was eating corn. Mr. Tray said, "Maybe Fluff is eating corn! I think she heard us!" Then Fluff ran to her neighbor's house. Fluff pecked on the door. Then Fluff’s neighbor opened the door for Fluff. Mr. Tray said, "Do you want some salad?" Back home Mr. and Mrs. Tray said, "We should let Mr. and Mrs. Lay have Fluff." So Mr. and Mrs. Lay kept Fluff and they lived happily ever after.

The End!

A Surprise for Christmas

Article posted December 16, 2010 at 11:48 PM GMT0 • Reads 253

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lisa. She had a family but her big brother was missing. Lisa was four years old.

One day Lisa went to find her big brother. She traveled, and it was snowing hard. Then her parents couldn’t find her. So they got worried. Lisa traveled until she reached the North Pole. She saw a big house. Then she wondered why her big brother was missing only if it is almost Christmas. Lisa looked at the big house. Then she went inside.

Lisa saw huge candy canes in the big house. Then she quietly walked and opened the door. Lisa saw Santa Claus in his bed coughing. Santa Claus was sick! Lisa spoke to herself, “Who will deliver all those presents?” The house was made out of ice. There was a bad guy named Frost. Frost made Santa Claus sick. But Lisa didn’t know Frost yet. Then Lisa saw Frost’s house. She said, “Who is that house?” Lisa looked out the window. Then Lisa went out of Santa Claus’s house. Then she went to Frost's house. Then she peeked inside. When she peeked inside she saw a bunch of people inside. Lisa looked at them. Frost saw Lisa peeking inside. Frost pretend to be good. Frost came up to the door. Frost said, “Welcome! Come in!” Frost also said, “Would you like some hot coco?” Lisa said, “Yes.” Frost said to Lisa, “Would you like to stay her for a little while?” Lisa said, “Sure.” Then Frost showed her to her bedroom. Lisa’s bedroom was huge! It could fit ten beds in there.

Tomorrow it was Christmas. Lisa had an idea. She went into Santa Claus's bedroom. Then she told him her name. Santa Claus said, “Well nice to see you.” Lisa asked if she could deliver the presents. Santa Claus said, “Yes.” Then he gave a little bit of his magic. Lisa said, “Thank you.” Then she delivered the presents. Santa Claus said, “Thank you.”

Now it was Christmas. Santa Claus said to Lisa, “I have a secret. I am Saner, your big brother.” Lisa was surprised. Saner said, “Do you want to go back home?” Lisa said, “Yes.” So they went back home together. Frost was really made out of ice. Frost watched Lisa and Saner. Frost started to cry. Then he melted.

And they lived happily ever after!

Resolution

Article posted January 7, 2011 at 07:23 PM GMT0 • Reads 277

My first resolution is I’m going to read 40 minutes a day because I want to read faster.

My second resolution is I will help my little brother to read because he might not know how to read.

My third resolution is I will help my grandma cook veggies because she mostly gets tired after she cooks. And I will eat more veggies. And I will clean the dishes too. And I will not watch TV more.

How to Make a Book

Article posted March 11, 2011 at 11:38 PM GMT0 • Reads 235

This is going to be a little hard because sometimes it doesn’t make sense when you write it. And it might be hard because you have to think what you should you call it.

First you get some paper, pencil, marker, and colored pencil. And you need a stapler and maybe glue sick.

Then you think of something to write. Then you get out a pencil. Then you start writing your story.

Then you make sure that you put the punctuations where it is supposed to belong. And remember to put the capital in the front of the first word in each sentence.

Then you ask someone to make sure it is correct. If you got some of them wrong you have to write the story again.

When you’re done writing the book staple it together. If you don’t have a stapler use the glue stick. When you're done writing the book it is time to draw a picture. If you’re done drawing the picture you are done!

The MSP

Article posted May 12, 2011 at 08:54 PM GMT0 • Reads 245

I thought the reading MSP was hard at first but it was easy. I thought it was kind of fun. I finished it before recess. I like the MSP because we don’t get any homework this week.

I though the math MSP was hard, but it was easy. It was harder than the reading MSP. It was a little fun too.

Favorite Field Trip

Article posted June 16, 2011 at 06:38 PM GMT0 • Reads 615

My favorite field trip this year is going to the Woodland Park Zoo. The reason why it’s my favorite field trip is that I get to see animals. And some of them are so cool to see.

On Friday we're going to the Arbor Heights Pool. I bet it will be fun. I wonder if it’s going to be my favorite field trip. 
