School so far

I think school so far is really fun. I think Mr. Ahlness is a great teacher!!! His class is super fun! We do a lot of math and math is super fun to me. My favorite subject in school is math. My favorite sports are baseball and soccer. My favorite food is carrots. My best friend is Sawyer. Mr. Ahlness is the best teacher ever=http://

The Pike Place Market

Today we went to the Pike Place Market and my favorite thing was the gum wall because people went to a movie theater and no gum was allowed in the theater and there wasn't a trash can out side so they stuck it on the wall. My second favorite thing was trying tea because the tea was so good and my third favorite thing was doing the scavenger hunt becuase we had to find foods that start with letters of the alphabet.

The Mysterious Man

Once upon a time there was a boy walking one night and his name was Cannon. One night all of a sudden he started to shiver.



He said “Who’s there!” but no one answered. He was really scared. Then all of a sudden something grabbed him and he looked behind him and nothing was there. Then he got pulled away. His dad was looking for him and he tried to scream but he couldn't. He was pulled into a cave and then he saw other people and they were very hungry and thirsty.



Then someone just appeared out of thin air. He was a robber and he was stealing people in his property and Cannon said “Your property? You mean our property!” The robber said, “Be quiet!” Then Cannon said, “Oh fine!” Then they got into a big fight and the other people tried to split them up but they couldn’t.



Then the two guys stopped fighting and then they started again so when they stopped Cannon let the other people free. Then they ran and Cannon was caught by the man! Now Cannon has to be the man's servant. If Cannon disobeys him he will get hurt but the man seems mysteriouss because he just wants food.



But why would he just want food?

The Big Thanksgiving Turkey

Once upon a time there were three turkey brothers named Diego, Jacob, Sawyer and Elias. One week before their father had disappeared. The brothers were really scared so they asked their mom if the story was real.



Elias asked her if his dad arrived before they were even born but she said “no”. Diego asked what happened and his mom said “I don’t know”.



Jacob asked who took him? Mother said, “Don’t know”, and all the turkey brothers said “Well I wish we met him”.



That night the turkeys didn’t sleep at all so they went outside and started to play. Then they went inside and then they started to play video games. Then their mom woke up, “WHATS ALL THAT RUCKUS”. The boys heard her so they went to their bed rooms and pretended to sleep but they left the video games on, so Jacob went to turn it off but it was too late. His mom was standing in front of the video games, and Jacob's mom asked him “Who is in charge with this!” So Jacob told her that Elias was in charge. Then Elias’s mother started to yell at him.



A week later the boys met a new kid in the neighborhood and his name was Billy and one night Billy went to Sawyer, Diego, Elias and Jacob’s house to sleep over but Billy was too fat to get through but that night he disappeared. Everyone was looking for him but the owners ate him for Thanksgiving.

My weekend was fun! On Friday night I went to a slumber party with Sawyer also I had a soccer game and it was too easy. On Sunday Sawyer came to my house with my cousin Anika.

My plans for Thanksgiving are I’m going to my grandma's house and then I’ll go to my cousin's house. Then I’ll go see their new puppy. Then have a party with them and play with the new puppy and my cousins.

The Snowflake

Once upon a time there was a snowflake named Bill, and Billy lived in the North Pole and Billy had a lot of friends. A lot of his friends were very mean but four of his friends were nice and their names were Sawyer, Jacob, Anthony and Diego.



One day his friends did not come to visit him. Billy said, “Were is Diego, Sawyer, Jacob and Anthony?”



Meanwhile Billy and his mom Sandra were asking people if they had seen Billy’s friends. Billy and Sandra were having very bad luck.



The next day they went to the Snowflake Woods. They looked everywhere but no luck so they gave up. But they asked their mom, but she didn't know so Billy and his mom gave up.



But the next day they found them in the woods. The kids were very cold so they stayed home the rest of the year.

My Resolution

My first resolution is to read 20 books every month no matter what because I don’t read a lot. My mom and dad really want me to read the Harry Potter series but all I do is watch television.



I also ignore them a lot so I’ll read more books. Reading is better than television and reading is very fun.



Also you can learn more important stuff to do when there’s something important. Like if there’s a fire you’ll know what to do, also if there’s an earthquake you’ll know what to do.

My X-mas vacation

On the two week vacation I went to South Africa. In South Africa I met my new cousins Patrick, Danny, Dylan and Jonathan.

How to use Google Sketch up 8 and How to download it

Hi I’m Diego and I’m about to tell you how to use and download Google Sketch up 8.



First, you go to Google. Second, you type in Google Sketch up 8.com. Then, you go to the home page. Next you click on download. Then, you wait for about a minute. Fourth, you exit. Fifth, you click on Google sketch up 8. Sixth, then click on start using Sketch up. Seventh, you can click on the square at the top. Eighth, you can make a big square. Ninth, you click on the arrow that looks like it’s pulling a box. Tenth, you click on the big square. Eleventh, then you pull it up as high you want it. Twelfth, then you can put windows by using the square again.



I’d also prefer you have a parent to help you. Good luck and I hope you do it right. And remember DOWNLOAD IT!

My First Time on a Bike when I was Five/Six

Once when I was five I was with the Cub Scouts biking and there were about I don’t know fifteen kids plus Sawyer, Elias, and Evan. Also I think there were a few more people counting the parents.



Also when I was four I was starting to ride a bike.

On Saturday night and it was awesome! Also I was at a sleepover with Sawyer.



My favorite things were voting, watching Jack Black the host. Also it was so fun to watch people getting slimmed.

The MSP

I think the Reading MSP was pretty easy. I think the easiest part of the test was the first page.



The hardest part was the middle. I think the math MSP test was awesome! Also it was a lot easier than the reading MSP. Also it was a lot more fun than the reading MSP. I also thought that it was easier than I thought. Also I think I got some questions wrong.

Competition

I’m very competitive in sports and a lot of other things. I do not like losing or going into a tie with someone, winning is pretty fun.



The things I am most competitive at are soccer, baseball, and basketball. The reason I like winning is because you get a treat or something else.

My Favorite Subjects

My favorite subject in school is Math because it is fun when we play games with math in it and also it makes you a whole lot smarter. The other thing I like is spelling because I usually start early and then be the second one done.



I like gym too because we practice the mile run and the half mile run also we play a lot of fun games like pin down and also we get to do stations. Reading is fun because if you read one- million words you will get a prize at the end of the year.



Science is another one of my favorite things because you learn more about things that are true and the healthy things to eat and lots of other stuff. English is another one of my favorite things because you learn the proper way to write a sentence and you learn what nouns and proper nouns are.

Art is my last favorite thing because you get to do clay and paint.

My Favorite Field Trips!

My favorite field trip this year was when we went to China Town. I liked it because we went to the Fortune cookie Factory and we got to taste some and taste flat ones too.

My other favorite field trip was when we went to the Pike Place Market because we got to see the gum wall and my group got to taste some tea that was made from Japan people and I also got to see how they make cheese. My last favorite was the Zoo because we got to see lots of animals like monkeys, Komodo Dragons, and eagles, and the other thing I liked about it is we got to eat lunch at the Zoo. After lunch my group went to see the penguins and then we saw the flamingos and we saw a baby Flamingo.
