picture day

I’m feeling good because today is picture day.

I think that picture day is a great day because you get your picture taken in two ways and if your hair is messy they will give you a plastic comb to clean your hair out.

How I Got Eaten By a Hydra

How I Got Eaten By a Hydra

It was Halloween night and me and my friends were trick or treating. It was starting to get late and my candy bucket was getting full so I said, "Let's go back to my house so we can eat some of this candy.” They all agreed so we went back to my house.

But when we got back there was no one in sight and then we thought we heard something breathing. Then we saw something coming out of the pantry, some thing with gray body with ripped clothes.

Rotten teeth, missing an eye, missing arms, out and groaning then I realized what I was seeing a zombie! Then it stopped it reached for its face and, pulled of a mask, it was my big brother. He laughed all the Parents are outside having a party in the back yard.

After a great party and eating some Halloween candy my friends had to go and me and my brother had to go to bed. I tried for hours but I had a stomach ache from eating so much candy. Then I heard yelling coming from my friends!

I leaped out my bedroom window. That was my first BIG mistake because when I got there I saw a hydra that was 40 feet tall with 15 heads eating my friends! When it was finished with them it lunged at Me!

I was lucky the hydra missed by centimeters. I got up and scrambled away and leaped threw my window. I shut and then locked it. I probably was thinking I was safe but I wasn’t, the hydra ripped off the roof of my bed room and ripped me into shreds with its 15 heads.

Escaping Thanksgiving

Article posted November 18, 2010 at 07:30 PM GMT0 • Reads 206

My brother always tells me that every Thanksgiving turkeys get killed and that you never know when it might be you.

Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Todd. I live in Kentucky. I just escaped the turkey farm. Hey wait a minute, I'm thinking way too far ahead of myself.

Well it all started a few days before Thanksgiving. It was a cold fall night. Just after the farmers put up the anti turkey escape mechanisms. It was guarded by barbed wire 50, footwalls, tanks, and a moat with crocodiles. Which every so often the farmer’s best workers would fall into and get eaten, so I decided to escape.

Then it was time for revenge. It took me while to think of a good plan. But after a little while I finally found a good plan that might just get me out of here.

The plan was to throw a hammer at the 50 foot. Then the tank would shoot the wall down, then I could sabotage the tank, then shoot the chains that were holding up the bridge and then I could cross the bridge and then I could finally take down the farmer’s house.

So the next day I carried out my plan and so I threw the hammer and then the tank shot down the wall then I sabotaged the tank.

My plan was going good so far and then I shot the chains. Then I crossed the bridge and took down the farmer’s house

Ten Days until Christmas

Article posted December 16, 2010 at 08:37 PM GMT0 • Reads 213

So this is the first page of my story ok so I’m tom I also live in Seattle. But that’s not important

What is important is that you read this story before my sister gets a hold of it. My sister got a hold of my last book and it was not pretty.

But I should tell my story first. So it all began 15 days before Christmas when most people had a lot Christmas lights up but they didn’t have Christmas lights up when they usually had Christmas lights up 5 weeks before Christmas but I couldn’t find a single Christmas light in town. That’s when I decided to go to North poll.

When I got there I found a small ice cave not too far from shore. Then I decided to take shelter in it. Then I set my stuff down and went to get the rest of my supplies.

When got the rest of my stuff I found a Cyclops in the cave. I waited for the Cyclops to go out of the cave and then I brought out my Ice axe. But then the Cyclops came back and saw me!

Then it grabbed me and shouted “I am the abominable Cyclops. I am the one who made Christmas in your town disappear that you can only stop by destroying me”. Then I picked up the ice axe and dropped it on his foot. He yelled in pain. Then I ran out of the cave and swung my ice axe at the cave and the cave collapsed.

The end.

A New Year's Resolution

Article posted January 6, 2011 at 08:56 PM GMT0 • Reads 295

My first resolution is to help work on my house since it’s still under a re-model and my dad just bought a car and my cat needs a special medicine and a cone of shame so he’s probably not going to be hiring anybody for a while.

Another resolution is to use less electricity and I can give you two reasons why I should be doing it. One I’ve been using a lot lately and two is that I heard that the electricity bill is really high for the past couple of months so that’s why I want to use less electricity.

How to build a Stool

How to build a stool

By Robert

Introduction

This may take 1 day to build a stool. However you will need sharp tools to make it so be careful. (If you are a Child you may a need parent to watch you).

How to make a stool

You will need wood, Nails, a hammer, a ruler, and a saw to build it.

Start by cutting a piece into a rectangle with a saw. (It doesn’t matter how long it is you just need to make the legs longer if you expand it.) Then cut a piece of into a square (It helps to cut a small triangle at the bottom of the stool but don’t cut all the way through it. Take the rectangular and place it flat on the floor. Then take the square piece of wood and place it on top. DO NOT place the square piece of flat like the rectangle! Put it so it’s pointing up. Use 2 nails to keep it in its place. Hammer the nail in diagonally so it goes through the square and rectangular piece of wood (Do the same to the other side.)

I’ve made stools before and I should tell you a couple of things: One to be careful when you hammer in the nails diagonally, watch where you put the nails and make sure they are long enough. Two is to be careful with the saw!

The Flying Bike

Article posted March 17, 2011 at 11:20 PM GMT0 • Reads 249

I woke up one morning with the urge to ride my bright yellow bike. I looked for my bike but I couldn’t find it. My family said that they didn’t know where it was. I searched some more but I didn’t have any luck. I decided to eat breakfast I made blueberry waffles for breakfast. When I was done I slipped on a red coat. And went to buy a new bike.

I didn’t know any bike stores in our town so I searched for one in town I saw an old store that said Ralf’s old bike shop and the letters were faded. And a sign said it was open and the lights were on so I went inside. I saw an old man and he said, “Hello I’m Ralf and I’m the shop owner” I said that I wanted a bike and then he said that his bikes were on sale because the bikes he has are old and needed to be painted, the tires pumped and, the gears checked. I said I didn’t really care and I just wanted a yellow bike. He then said that he had a bike that just got checked. And was yellow and he’d be willing to give it to me for it free. I got the bike and walked it home because I had forgotten to bring my orange helmet.

When I got home I got my orange helmet ready and my yellow bike ready too. I checked my helmet and it was fine. When I got outside I started to pedal down the street and then I started to rise!! I slowly stopped pedaling then I found that I noticed that I was going higher. The longer I looked at the wheels and they weren’t on the ground!

I started to pedal faster and I began to float. I kept pedaling and I didn’t stop until I was about fifty feet in the air, the town looked like a brownish blur. I looked at my yellow bike and slipped and fell, closer and closer the ground came.

The MSP

May 10, 2011

I think that the MSP was good but I also thought it wasn’t really long or short. I also thought it would be longer than that. I also liked the MSP because we didn’t have any homework. But I don’t really want to know what the MSP is going to be like in higher grades. But I don’t know what the MSP for math is going to be like.

May 12, 2011

I think the MSP wasn’t easy or hard. I also thought it would be a little shorter then it was though it seemed longer than the Reading MSP but I think the Reading MSP was easier.

The MATH MSP was harder than Reading MSP for me. Both MSP weren’t really long, short, easy or hard for me.
