Midnight Werewolves

Article posted October 29, 2010 at 10:09 PM GMT0 • Reads 204

Once upon a time there was a man named Will Ryan. And he was very superstitious and one dark gloomy night when the moon was full he decided to go for a walk. He knew he was scared but he kept walking saying “I’m not afraid”. Even though he really was. Just then he saw a wolf like figure. He quick turned around, but the faster he got, the figure got closer. Finally he started to run.

Then MORE figures came closer but it was too late for them, he made it back to his house.

After Will had seen the beasts he decided to go for ANOTHER night walk, the moon was full.

Again the figure returned. They had blazing red eyes and sharp teeth He ran as fast as he could.

He tried and tried to get away but he was too slow. The wolves gained on him but then his cat Sam snuck up on the leader of the pack and tried to bite him but the second he turned away Will grabbed his cat and ran home. When he got there he called the news right away but no one answered, the line was cut. Then he just went to bed. He heard howling in the distance and it got louder until he could hear scratching at the window.

Sam jumped up and hissed at the window but the wolves broke it. They stormed in scratching and sniffing every thing. The leader stood on his hind legs and he howled HHOOOOOOOOOOOOW!! He found him and made a huge scratch on his arm. When the wolves left he went to brush his teeth only to find that he was completely hairy, his back arched, HE WAS A WEREWOLF!!THE END

JOE’S GREAT ESCAPE!

Article posted November 18, 2010 at 07:25 PM GMT0 • Reads 251

Once upon a time there was a turkey named Joe. Joe did not know what Thanksgiving was exactly until today. It was a wonderful fall day. Joe was walking around until he ran in to his parents and they had a sad look on their faces. Then they told him something that made him stop in his tracks. Here’s what they said, “Joe Thanksgiving is coming up in a few days and we want you to know what happens to us turkeys. They...they eat us." His his mom said sadly, "But don’t worry, they won’t eat us, I hope."

That night Joe couldn’t sleep. He couldn’t understand why humans would want to eat turkeys because they have always bean so nice to him but he had to think up an escape plan fast!

The next day a tall girl in ripped jeans and a dirty t-shirt gave Joe her table scraps. Joe didn’t know where the girl went but right when he was eating he realized today was Thanksgiving and he started on his plan. Then he showed it to his family and they liked it, so they strapped into the catapult. They landed outside the fence and they were free!

A Holiday Fantasy

Article posted December 16, 2010 at 07:31 PM GMT0 • Reads 239

Once upon a time there was a talking Weiner dog that lived in Berlin, Germany. Her name was Hidey, she knew many things when it came to Christmas but the one thing she didn’t know about was the cave at the highest mountain in Germany. Her friends said that a yeti lived in the cave. The idea of that sent chills up her spine.

The next day when she was walking with her friends she saw the cave and asked her best friend what the monster did. “I heard that he torments the town’s people on Christmas Eve and takes all the decorations” said Greta. “I bet I could stop him from doing that.” Hyde’s friend gasped, “You won’t come back alive.” “No I could teach him what Christmas really

is and maybe he could make friends with the people.” And off she went.

At exactly 11:50pm Hidey arrived at the cave. She saw the monster combing his fur the monster looked at Hidey “What do you want?” it said. “I’ve come to show you the true meaning of Christmas.” So she told him that it wasn’t about stealing things it was about giving things.

Then the clock struck twelve. “Remember be nice.” “You could join the town feast.” So he made friends with all the town’s people and Christmas turned out great after all. THE END

my resolutions

Article posted January 6, 2011 at 08:58 PM GMT0 • Reads 284

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to save more money to donate to orphanages and people who live in less wealthier countries and cities so they can have better food, schools and hospitals.

Another reason I would like to save more money is so I can get the food for our pets.

Because I would like to take more responsibility for myself because I’m getting older.

How to Build a Bridge

Article posted March 11, 2011 at 07:20 PM GMT0 • Reads 229

Building a bridge is easy. First you need some friends and an adult. Then you need to find some logs. If the logs are too big chop them up.

Next find an open space like a river or a small ridge. Then put the logs across the place you chose. Test them so they’re sturdy enough.

If they’re not try sticking some mud in between the gaps of the logs.

Finally try to walk across them. If they’re still not sturdy enough find some strong sticks and rope to make a railing. Good luck!

When bikes come alive

Article posted March 22, 2011 at 08:48 PM GMT0 • Reads 269

Once upon a time there was a man named Carlos and he owned a bike warehouse. He loved the bikes but his father hated them. He was a short mean old man. He often tried to convince his son into using the bikes for scrap metal and making them into pots and pans and things that people would buy but he always refused.

“No! I will not give up the bikes!” he said one night “But think of the money we can make!” said his father. “NO!” his son was so angry at him that he wouldn’t talk to him for the rest of the night. Why doesn’t he like the bikes? He thought. He’s so mean and nasty to me!

When he woke up he didn’t hear his father watching TV. When he went to the basement to sell the bikes. To his surprise his father wasn’t there. He was wearing a safety mask and welding what looked like one of the bike frames and sculpting it into a frying pan. When his father lifted up the mask his son was so angry he didn’t even say a word to him. He had just destroyed his most favorite bike and he only had several more favorites and his father was probably going to ruin them all.

After Carlos had woken up he didn’t bother to go downstairs and see what his father was doing to the bikes. When his father went down to the basement to work on a metal pot that he was making out of the biggest and fastest bike. But when he picked it up he heard a faint voice, “If you hurt me all of my friends will get you and they’ll be mad!” said the bike. “I’m not afraid of you, you’re just a helpless little bike.” said his father “We WILL get you or if we have to we’ll escape!” thundered the bike.

The next day his father went to the basement again to try to finish the pot. To his surprise the bikes were gone!

“Holy cow!” screamed his father “Th-there gone!” “That crazy little bike was right!” “Come on guys let’s get him!” said the voice of the same bike that warned him. “Let’s go!” yelled the lead bike. They went into the warehouse and destroyed everything that his father made. “Will you stop if I say I’ll stop using you for scrap metal?” asked his father. “Only if you promise.” said the bike. “I promise!” “Ok fine”, the bike said. After that his father liked bikes. THE END

My favorite animal is a dog because they’re playful and sweet but sometimes they can get annoying. My favorite breed of dog is a black Labrador and I think they’re really neat because if you lose them they will always come home because they’re retrievers and if you throw them something they’ll always want to bring it back. Another reason why I like them is they show if they’re sad or mad. For example if they are sad their tail goes between their legs and if they’re mad their lips go back they bare their teeth and their ears go back and if they're happy their ears go up and they wag their tails.

The MSP

The MSP was sort of easy. But I thought that the math was a little harder than the reading. I thought the reading was kind of fun. I’m just glad it’s over because my back was starting to cramp.

I like playing in games where you win or lose. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. Last year my favorite game was the limbo how low can you go? I really hope that field day will be fun again this year.

Favorite subjects

June 15, 2011

My favorite subject is Art and science. Because you get really fun things to do in art and you can create whatever you want and can’t do in reality. I like science because you can do fun experiments and make cool models and draw diagrams.

My second favorite subject is reading. Because you have to do book reports. But I like it because you get to read for a long period of time.

My favorite field trip was Chinatown. Because we got to go to a cool Chinese restaurant and it was really good. Another thing I liked was the Fortune Cookie factory.
