Today I read about a woman named Gulbar who lived in north Afghanistan in November 2005. Gulbar was burnt by her husband. She was admitted in a hospital for forty days. Her 40% of body was burnt. When her mother was interviewed, she told that her husband was a cruel person. He used to beat her every day. One day she left her house and started living with her mother. Even though her husband warned her to come back, she refused, and as a result she was burnt by him. His husband was arrested.
This action was really cruel. He has spoiled Gulbar's life. He should have treated her well. I was really astonished after reading an article about this crime. And after viewing the pictures, I was extremely appalled.
