My Six Flags Adventure

One day when I went to Six Flags I was having so much fun. The first ride that I went on was the Muducia . I was having so much fun entail in flew up into the air going 350mph. It was going faster than a jet. But then a hot air balloon past us.So then I reached out and grabbed it. Then I started putting people on it. And I let it go.Then I drove the Muducia back on course. So then I got all of the people off the balloon. Next I went on the Tazmainion devil at first it was slow but then it got faster and faster and even faster. Then it was going so that when the worker tried to stop it the lever broke, and it fell off the stick. It was spinning at 520mph. And just like that it was out of control. It was destroying all of the other rides. So I had to jump off the ride ,found a rope and tied it around the Tazmainion devil then guide it back on the stick. Then I fixed the lever and my family and I ate some ice cream and left. And that was the end of my Six Flags adventure. By Kailea

The Time I Road My Dad's Motorcycle

Article posted November 3, 2011 at 11:07 PM GMT0 • Reads 192

One day when I woke up, the first thing I saw was the sun peeping through the crack's in my blinds. Then I noticed something, my Mom and my brother were nowhere to be seen. When I was ready to go I skipped outside. It was very hot. So when I came to my garage it was cold, or colder than outside. When I saw my Dad in garage I had realized he had turned on his motorcycle. I tried to tell him something but he couldn't hear me because of the roaring motorcycle. Finally he turned off his motorcycle. It was a burgundy colored Harley with yellow and red flames on the sides. Now he could hear. I asked him where was my Mom and my brother. They were at my teachers house already my Dad answered. They had left early. So we packed our stuff in the burgundy saddle bags, flipped up the kick stand and roared down the street. Before I knew it we were at my teachers house (We were home-schooled). My Dad was right my Mom and brother were already there. It was a great day.

Jessie The Pencil

I'm laying next to some books when Kailea squeezes my middle, and flips me with her index finger. Now I know its time to get to work. Hi I’m Janaya Lisa Ellis but you can just call me Janaya. Sometimes it tickles or it hurts when Kailea writes with me. When she writes her name it scratches off my point. It hurts so bad. Do you get my point? Sometimes when Kailea shades in something my point get so dull that she has to give me a shower in the pencil sharpener. When she erases with my eraser it feels like she is giving me a hair cut. My hair looks like a hole bunch of pink fuzzes. Well now it is time to be put away in the side of Kailea’s backpack to sleep until its time to do some homework. Good-Bye for now.

Zebras

Article posted April 30, 2012 at 07:23 PM GMT0 • Reads 695

Prey for lions and hyenas, zebras are constantly on the lookout for danger. No animal has a more distinctive coat than the zebra. Each animal's stripes are as unique as fingerprints. No two are exactly alike. Although each of the three species has its own general pattern. Why do zebras have stripes at all? Scientists aren't sure, but many theories believe it is some form of camouflage. The patterns may make it difficult for predators to identify a single animal from a running herd and distort distance at dawn and dusk. Their fur or act as a kind of natural sunscreen. Because of their uniqueness, stripes may also help zebras recognize one another. Zebras are social animals that spend time in herds. They graze together, primarily on grass, and even groom one another. Burchell's zebras are the most common species. They live in small family groups consisting of a male (stallion), several females, and their young. These units may combine with others to form awe-inspiring herds thousands of head strong, but family members will remain close within the herd. Zebras must be constantly wary of lions and hyenas. A herd has many eyes alert to danger. If an animal is attacked, its family will come to its defense, circling the wounded zebra and attempting to drive off predators.
