I love school, it is fun. I love show and tell, it is so cool. We never got to do it at my old school.

I love the map test. It was fun. Some are hard. So I pretended it looked easy.



It was easy so I just tried to go fast. It did not work.

My favorite games are sorry sliders, tetherball, cards, and foursquare. My favorite foods are pizza, ice cream, cake, cookies, and watermelon. My favorite animal is a horse because they are so beautiful. And they are tall. My favorite soaps are strawberry and pineapple.

spooky story

It was close to Halloween. I was scared because the scariest thing was happening. It was a rainy night. Me and my Dad were watching TV. And I needed to get my pajamas on. I could not find a top.



So I went to the laundry room. I was about to get it. Then the light went out. I almost made my way out the door but blocking the door was a ghost.



I got scared. So I ran out. I ran to my Dad and I told him what happened and nothing happened ever since then. It might happen again.

The gold turkey

Once upon a time there was a turkey named Mackenzie. It was a golden turkey. They were the best. They were not at the store so people had to hunt them. They say it is the best in the whole wide world. We went to the forest. That is not good for Mackenzie.



"He might move," they said. “We are going to eat him”, said the mom. The kid said, “But why, I am scared”. They went home.



Later that day they came again. They found her and trapped her.



She jumped out and said "Yes!". She went to her cave and nothing happened ever since. And that is what might happen next Thanksgiving.



The next day it was Thanksgiving. Mackenzie stayed in the cave. And she was never seen again!

The Best Christmas

It was December 23 2007. I was five. It was my mom, dad, Brandon, Maya, I and Gramma. We were about to leave for Gramma’s house. Gramma said, "I will come to your house”. I said “ok”. She came to our house. “Let’s start decorating”. So we did.



So we just got done with the Christmas tree. I said, “It looks beautiful. I love it”. We opened one present. My brother got a toy that was scary to me. I was about to tell him and he pointed it at me and he rolled it to me. I told mom and she said to stop.



I woke up the next morning. It was Christmas morning. I woke up saying it is Christmas. We got done opening our presents. I love to open my presents. But the best thing is being with your family. I love to be with my family on Christmas. I think it is the most important thing. I feel so happy with them.

Mackenzie's 3 resolutions

My resolutions in 2012 are to read one book every night. I think I should because I want to be a better reader. And I need to finish my book.

My second resolution is to eat healthier. I think I should because if I don’t I will get fat.

My third resolution is to play with my friends more. I think I should because I play with them every other day.

Let's keep the lights up

I think we should keep them up until winter. Because when it turns to spring it will not be the holiday season anymore. But it will be cute in spring. I think that they should be taken down on the first day of spring, maybe a little longer. But I already took them down and I took my tree down which means I'm not that happy.

My Week

My week was awesome. I went to Henderson Street with Cecelia, Paloma, Teddy, and their dad. I went sledding. My sled was really fast.



When Cecilia and I went crashing into a tree, we popped off the tree. With Paloma, we crashed into a bush. With Teddy, we just went in a straight line. With just me i did not crash most of the time.



Soon it was time to go. I went home. I ate dinner and then went to bed. The next morning I did the same thing.

my mid winter break

Our Field Trip

On Wednesday i went to the Pacific Science Center. We went to the laser show. And we also went to the butterfly house. It was a really good field trip.

I think that my Young Author's Day book is cool. My favorite story is The Attack but sadly it is not on my blog yet but I am going to put it on my blog soon. The Attack is going to be about a girl named Mackenzie. She is going to be at the park late at night and she will see a star but it's ??????? You are going to read it to find out by reading the rest of the book. On my blog at Mackenzie Awesome World. The hardest part of making The Attack was trying to make it longer. Earth Day

On the first delivery we went to room 21. They were awesome. They paid a lot of attention. And they were so nice to us. And one of my best friends is in that class. I think it went awesome, it was my favorite. I wish that we could do it again. It will be really fun. Maybe will get to do it in fourth grade. And the bags fell down from the stool right in the middle when we were about to say be creative. It was bad and then we had to stop and pick them up. It was funny when that happened. We almost laughed our heads off, but we held it until we were done.



We also went to Mr. Wilke's classroom. They had a lot of questions. They were really nice and I saw a lot of people that I recognized. I saw two people that go on my bus. That time the bags did not fall. They were eating a snack. I think that they were really smart. They know about recycling and a lot of other stuff.

Ready For Earth Day?

Well geting ready for Earth day is awesome.  This year we decorated bags for Earth Day. I made three bags for Earth day. I want to make  4 bags so I'm going to ask Mr. Alhness.  I love Earth Day.  There is a website you can go to if you want to, it is called org or Earthday bags.org or .com.

       This is some ways that you can save the earth. 1 DON'T  CUT DOWN TREES. 2 DON'T THROW  AWAY  PAPER WHEN YOU MESS UP. 3 Do use  the back. 4 Do plant  trees.

Spring Break is AWESOME

After school I'm going to Lauren's aunt's house for dinner. I never met her before. We are having Italian casserole. It's my favorite dinner EVER. I'm also going to have swimming lessons. On Monday it will be my first time swimming ever. Besides for the butterfly swim.

MY PERFECT SPRING BREAK

My spring break was awesome. On Friday we went to Lauren's Aunt's house for dinner. We had Italyn casserole, it is my favorite dinner EVER. Lauren's aunt was really nice. She had toys and board games out.

We also went to the tulip fest on Saturday. But we went on the wrong day, it was next weekend. And me and my brother were going to be at my mom's house.

On Sunday (the last day of spring break) Lauren's aunt Michell came to our house. We had the dinner that we had on the first day of spring. We also played mad tracks (a game on the xbox) a lot with Lauren's two cousin and that was just last night.

The new computers

The MSP YEAH

I love the MSP. It was awesome. I wish that it was longer. I do not know why but it was awesome. I did not skip at all but I did a guess once. When I was done I did a star for a doodle. And I feel scared about the math MSP.



I think the math msp was so EASY. I know why. It was just so EASY. I was the second one done. Well this was one was more EASY then the reading msp. The reading msp was harder.

Our Field Trip

We went to the International District. Mrs. Salter went on the Field trip with us too.



First, we went on the ride. And we saw cool stuff like Century Link field, The Space Needle, The Columbia Tower. I also like to call it The Black Tower, and a bunch of other buildings.



Second, we went to Uwajimaya. It was awesome and it was a store. They had foods that I never even heard of. But they also had stuff that I get for Christmas.



After that, we went to the fortune cookie factory. It was so awesome. There were huge machines there. We got to have 4 fortune cookies there. He told us a secret about noodles. That when you cook noodles. That when you think that you are done throw 1 of the noodles on the wall and if it sticks then you are done and if they don’t stick then they need about 2-6 minutes.



Next, We went to lunch at Sun Ya. We add a chopstick contest and everybody one. And my favorite thing was the rice and the noodles, they where so good.

After that we went to the park. We were playing tag with Sandy, Jonathan and me.



Finally, The ride back home was fun. We saw every thing that we saw on the way here. We also read a book.

The Reading Map Test!

I like the reading better than the one we took at the first reading map test. It was really fun. I ended at 42!  And I only got to read three words in my book from the beginning. So I am just starting over.

I think that when I was partners with Chelsea it was my favorite. It was really fun.

But then we had to move. And I sit in group one and Chelsea sits in group three. We change desks every three weeks so it went bye fast.



My favorite place I sat was right in the middle of group two. The second desk. It was my first desk! My first partner was Elijah. He does not go to this school any more. Where Iman sits now.



I also like my new desk. Because I get to turn on the lights and shut the door. And I get to sit in the back of the group. But still my favorite partner is Chelsea.
