School so far

School is great!!! We are having lots of fun is going. I think Mr. Ahlness is the best teacher ever! I Love it when we do art.



In gym we play pin down and do curl ups. I think curl ups are easy except for when I do more than Twenty.



We also do stations. We do all kinds of things at stations. Gym is extremely fun

On My Spooky Story



Saturday October 2nd 2011 I was watching Discovery Channel. On Discovery Channel I was watching Monsters & Mysteries in Alaska.



There was a man about to leave on his fishing boat with another man and they saw a Grizzly Bear walking along the shore and then a Big Foot came out of the woods and scared the Grizzly Bear away into the woods. The man said he couldn’t imagine something like that had happened in front of his own eyes.



Another man went hunting for a week with his sister. They stayed in the car to sleep but one night the man felt like he was being watched. Then suddenly a Big Foot came next to the car looking at him. In his view it looked like the Big Foot was going to break the window but didn’t and disappeared.

Gobble’s Big Story

I am a turkey named Gobble. My friends are Beacker, Speedy, and Waddle. I live in a forest in Canada. But the bad thing about it is that an ANGRY Farmer and the ANGRY Farmer’s wife that live by the forest and it is November. November is a bad month for turkeys because they will get killed for a Thanksgiving.



Gobble, Beacker, Speedy, and Waddle were joyfully skipping around the forest. Then Red Fox jumped out of his den and almost scared the feathers off of Gobble. “Why are you skipping around so joyfully?”, he asked. “We are trying to have fun”, said Speedy. Beacker nodded his head as well as Waddle. “Why do you ask?”, said Gobble. “Because a farmer is coming to hunt to tonight”, said Red Fox. The turkeys gasped.



Then suddenly they heard a rustling in the bushes. “It’s the FARMER!”, yelled Red Fox as he leaped away into his den. “RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!”, screamed all of the turkeys. All of the turkeys ran, and then Gobble fell and the farmer caught him and right before he put him in a cage Red Fox jumped out and saved Gobble’s life.

Snow and Trouble With the Dogs



It was December 15, 2007 and I was four years old and it was a snowy day with my brother Elias, and my two dogs named Alex and Asia. Asia was fourteen and was born in 1993 and Alex was born in 1998. Even though Asia is older, she is a smaller American Eskimo than Alex. It happened in Arbor Heights neighborhood.



We were out in the snow (me, my brother and my dogs) having a snowball fight when Asia put some snow in her mouth, jumped on my back, and right when I fell over she dropped the snow on my head. When I got up me and my brother started laughing really hard and falling in the snow.



Then we went in our house and had hot chocolate. I went into the bathroom, and when I came out it was gone. I knew it was Alex, so when I went over to him he burped and I got him back. THE END=http://!

I want to be signed up for piano lessons because I want to play more than one instrument and I think piano was right for me. I can only play a little bit on the piano like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, which I already memorized.



What I want most of all is my dad to teach me more about my Electric Guitar.

Why the Christmas Lights Stay Should Stay Up

I think the lights should stay up until winter is over because it reminds us it's still winter and they give the classroom more color.



Other people want the lights to come down early, but I really don't agree with them.

Pacific Science Center

On Wednesday February 29, 2012, my class went to the Pacific Science Center. My favorite thing was the Planetarium. It was really fun too, because we got to see what the sky would be like that day at about 7:30 at night time. We also went to the Butterfly House exihbit. That was also fun, but it still wasn't my favorite thing.

The Dog Who Loves Cheetos and Peanut Butter

My dog, Benny, LOVES Cheetos and peanut butter so much, he even drools for it all over my mom and dad's bed. Also, for the peanut butter he has a kong that he loves so much, and the Cheetos, he begs my mom or he just steals them. THE END.

When Ugly Met Gobble

Once upon a time when Ugly the chicken was skydiving, Ugly heard the sound of a turkey. At first he didn't know why he heard the sound of a turkey, but right at that moment he heard the loud sound of an airplane, and then he noticed that there was also a turkey skydiving, and Ugly thought that the turkey was copying him so he tried to get the turkey out of his way. Finally when he and the turkey were face to face Ugly did a nervous smile and the turkey said in a kind of whisper "My name is Gobble". Ugly didn't notice that they were like 50 feet from the ground and Gobble already used his parachute and he was floating down slowly but Ugly forgot to use his and he crashed into an electric fence.

Benny's Big Dream

The Classrooms I Went to

The first classroom we went to was Room 9. Everybody was sort of serious because we were other third graders from our class and think Mrs. Salter was being really serious. And I think it went pretty well.



The second class we went to was Room 22, Mr. Gonzalez’s classroom. I think those kids were being silly, because when we asked the class when Earth Day was, our answers were “On Earth Day”, “April 10th”, and “April 11th”. I think it was fun, and at the end, there was applause.

Spring Break Awesomeness

On the last Saturday I went to the World's Fair, because it's the fiftieth anneversery. It was fun because we got cotton candy and we played in the giant water fountain and got all wet. We also went into the Space Needle gift shop and my mom got new sun glasses. After we left the Space Needle, we went back into the fountain, got more wet, and went back home.



On the last Sunday, or yesterday, I went to Lincoln Park. My mom got me new sandles, so that way I could go in the water. It was fun, and my favorite part was when we built walls in front of sand castles, and try to stop the waves from destroying them.

The Cat & the Rat

The MSP Tests

The reading MSP wasn't that hard, and it didn't take me that long, so it wasn't that bad.



When I finished, I drew a picture of Mae the falcon, and colored her in all the way. I gave Mr. Ahlness the picture, too.



I thought the reading MSP was easier than the the Math one.



One of the doodles I did was a picture of my dog Benny, and for some strange reason, everybody thought it was cute.

Our Chinatown Field Trip

We went to Chinatown for a field trip.

 

I was in Ethan and Ryan’s group for the car ride. On the way there we didn’t do much but talk. It was a long ride, but we finally made it to Chinatown.

 

Next, we dropped Room 9 off at the Tsue Chong Fortune Cookie Factory, and walked down to Uwajimaya.  At the store we saw ducks with heads still on them, pig heads, pig hoofs, chicken feet, and fish heads with eyeballs, trees with braided trunks, and other things you don’t see at a Target store. Then we had to walk all the way back to the fortune cookie factory.

 

At the fortune cookie factory we watched them make rice noodles, wheat noodles, and fortune cookies! We got to have four fortune cookies, and they were the best fortune cookies ever!

 

After that, we went to SunYa restaurant for lunch. We had hombow, rice, noodles, chicken, and another fortune cookie for dessert!

 

After lunch, we went to a park that  had an unknown name. They had a big, steel, dragon, a  merry-go-round, a slide, and a little green grassy hill and chairs and tables right by the little hill.

Then we had to walk all the way back to the parking lot for the ride back to school. On the way back we played chop sticks, PT Cruiser, and Punch Bug. We had a pretty good time.

I liked it when I was partners with Mari in the back of group 2. It was awesome because we got to do things together and it was really fun.



My favorite spot was in the very front of group 1, on the right side desk. I sat there like 3 times but I still liked it. I was partners with nobody when Joshua left, and I sat by nobody again when there were only 19 people in the class.



I have always wanted to sit in the front of group 2. It would be fun. When we changed desks for the last time, I hoped I would sit there, but I didn’t.

Missing My Blog

Over the summer, I will still read my blog. I won't get to write on it. I will miss writing on my blog. I used to do it all the time. I love writing on my blog because I can show everybody my imagination.



I wrote around twenty stories that are posted up on my blog. I want to keep reading them over and over. Whenever I get bored I will go on my blog and read my stories because I like to read a lot.



I can still see Mr. Ahlness, because he is my neighbor, but I will miss my blog the most because I love writing on my blog. Writing on my blog is one of my favorite things to do. I will miss it very much.



I will also miss the X O Laptops.They are very fun and entertaining. I will miss them a lot.

I think we should keep them because everybody enjoys writing on their blogs for entertainment and to keep them busy. We all want to keep showing our thoughts and ideas for what we want to share with.
