How To Make Rice

First you get the rice bowl, then you scoop some rice, then you rinse the rice three times with warm water. Measure the right amount of water. After that you dry the sides and the bottom of the bowl. Last but not least you put the rice bowl in the ricecooker and turn it on.

First you get a blender, second get bananas, blueberries, yogurt and ice. Put all of it in the blender and turn the blender on. If you want to make it sweet, put some honey in it. Last turn the blender on. Make sure you do it with your parents!

Once I was walking home.



When I walked past this house there was a scary pumpkin. The pumpkin scared me so bad! Because the pumpkin said, “Boo”!



The pumpkin scared me so bad that my spirit came out of me. Then I was in the hospital.



The next day I felt funny. Then the nurse came in and said “There are pumpkin guts in you” I said “AAHH!” Then I fell back asleep. The End

My Trip To Hawaii

I went to Hawaii last summer break. I went on a hellicopter, submarine, and snorkling in the middle of the ocean. It was so scary. Last but not least an airplane on the way back and on the way to there. I don't like the plane ride. I like it when it is in the air but I don't like it when we land because it hurts my ears really bad. Besides that was my first time on a plane. When we landed in Hawaii it didn't hurt my ear. I don't know why it is like that? Hawaii was the best trip I ever took in my life. But next is Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.

I like my new desk better because I am sitting right by the board. I sit with this girl called Elissa. I didn't like like my old desk because when we do a spelling test I have to run to the table and sometimes one of them drops. When it drops it drives me crazy. The Turkey Escape

Once upon a time there was a turkey named Turkey. He was a really brave turkey. But one day he almost got eaten on Thanksgiving night.



They put him in the oven. They cooked him for 5 hours. But did Turkey survive it or not? That is why I am going to tell you if Turkey survived it or not! Ok so now I am going to tell you.



On November 24 every year the farmer would take one turkey, but that turkey was Turkey. They put Turkey in the oven. The next day Turkey got cooked. After they cooked him they put him by a window to cool off a bit. And back at the farm mommy turkey was crying like this “Waaaaaaaa”, so Turkey jumped out the window and ran back to the farm.



Turkey was running as fast as he could. Finally he made it but Mommy turkey was gone. The End

My Favorite Holiday

My favorite hoiday is Christmas because I get toys, games, clothes and snow. I really like snow because I get to make a snow man and sometimes we have no school. I like making snowballs and throwing it at my mom and dad. In 2006 at my old house it was snowing and my mom threw a snowball at my face and then my face was super cold. Bye Bye

My Christmas Memory

It was Christmas and mom and I and my dad were having a snowball fight. And my mom threw a snowball right at my face. It was really cold that made my face was all red. It was really funny.



I had to go back in to the house and then I went to take a shower because my face was freezing cold. When I came back out of the shower it was time to open the presents.



I had a bunch of presents to open and one of the toy that I really wanted. Well just who brought me it? Santa brought me the toy I wanted. I wanted a remote control tank that has a camera inside it so I can see where I am going.



I opened the gift my dad got me and the toy cost 70$. I put the gift together. And then I opened the present that my mom got me. The toy that my dad got me was Lego’s and my mom got me more Lego’s but I kind of like Lego’s because you can build whatever you want with it. The End

Resolutions and Wishes

In 2012 I wish for people to only cut a little bit of trees. Because those trees they cut down can help us breathe better. And it will help the earth too.



I am going to watch less TV. Because I watch too much TV and besides, I am wasting electricity. I think that can do it.

I think people should leave their Christmas decorations up. Because the Christmas spirit will go on for a while and I think the decorations will look nice on houses. I think they will look nice.

The Fish Bob

Once upon a time there was a fish named Bob. He was a wise fish but one day fishermen came to fish. The fishermen put the worm on the hook and threw it in the water. And like 30 minutes later Bob saw the worm and Bob said “Yummy worm,” and Bob ate the worm but the fishermen was sleeping. And Bob was thinking of a way how to get out of this mess. And Bob thought “The hook is in my mouth so I have to think about how to get this hook out of my mouth.”



So he was thinking for a while. But finally he thought of something. He swam up and down left and right but the hook won’t come off. But finally the fishermen woke up and saw the fishing pole move and he grabbed it as fast as he can and reeled in the fishing pole. But Bob got another way to get it off. He swam farther and farther until the line snapped. Click, the line broke off and the hook came out of Bob. And Bob was happy that the hook came off.



Bob was so happy because the hook came off. He was jumping up and down. But guess what, there still a hole in Bob’s mouth. He didn’t feel the hole because he was too happy that the hook came off. But then he started to bleed. And he went to a fish hospital called The Fish Hospital. He had to stay there for one day. When he came out he was all patched up. But they didn’t really patch him up, they just put on this tape called fish tape. It patches up any kind of fish, even a salmon. And Bob came out of the Fish Hospital and started to swim around. And the Fishermen put another worm on the hook and threw it into the water.



Bob saw the worm inside the water and was thinking about eating it. But the Fish doctor said “You can’t eat anything for a day with that patch on.” But Bob didn’t care because he was so hungry. So Bob took off the patch and ate the worm. But guess what - again the fisherman was sleeping again. But the hook did not get stuck in Bob’s mouth because they put metal inside his mouth so every time he was hungry he would just eat as much worms as he wanted to.



And he met a friend named Ryan the fish. Ryan the fish was smart and wise just like Bob the fish. The End

My Plans For Mid Winter Break

I'm going bowling on February 17 2012 and I might get over a 100 points. I am going to play games and eat chicken wings.

Our Field Trip to the Pacific Science Center

Yesterday our class room went on a field trip to the Pacific Science center.  we also went to see the laser show and it was so cool.  And also we went to the tropicial butterfly house and i got kind of scared. The one you been all been wating for the planetaium. It was awesome because we got to see stars and planets.

At our school we have Young Authors day and if you don't know what it is then listen. It is about making books and reading it to other people. I chose to read my story called the Fish Bob. It is about a fish that is trying to figure out what to do when there is a hook stuck in his mouth. I might read a story called My Christmas Memory. It is about my Christmas memory. One of the classrooms I went to was room 15. And it was scary because we had to talk in front of first graders. It was kind of noisy in there. They didn’t ask any good questions.



The second classroom I went to was room one, and it was fun. They didn’t ask any questions. All they said was “Oh I forgot what I was going to say.” It was pretty funny.



I felt nervous because everybody was staring at us. I felt nervous and scared at the same time.

Earth Day Bags

I am enjoying making earth day bags and coloring them. It is really fun, you should make on too. Well you are going to make one because a bunch of my classmates went to your room and talked about making Earth day bags.



I like to make earth day bags because.....I don't know why, but is is fun making them. On Earth Day April 22 2012 I am going to go to Safeway and shop so I can get a bag from my school. And beside yesterday me and my mom went to Safeway to shop for food and stuff, I wish when I went to Safeway it was Earth Day and then I could of got a bag and have it at home right now.

My Spring Break

Yesterday I went to the spring fair. I went on a ride called the zipper. The zipper is so scary because it flips you around and you're moving at the same time.



On Saturday I went to Safeway, I mean not Safeway, Target. Me and my mom went to Target for some Food and other stuff. I bought a game called Skylanders.



When I got home I opened it and hooked it up on to my Xbox, and then I started to play it. After I played it for 10 minutes then I couldn't stop playing it. That game is super fun.



That day me and my mom made BBQ. She burnt the chicken wings and ribs. But it was really good. Then later that night I had a party at my house and it was fun.

My Weekend

I am going to Oregon on Saturday. I will stay there for a night. I might bring my kite. My kite is shaped like a Blue Angel. If it is windy then I will bring it out to fly.



On Sunday when I wake up then I will watch some TV and then wake my mom and dad up. Then we are going to stay there for a little bit longer then go home.

The New Computer Lab

The computer lab is so cool. It has new computers. The computer screen is so big. I like the new computers better than the old computer. I wish they had these computers a long time ago so my class and I can use it a long time ago. And a long time ago when I was in third grade. The mouse is different than any old computer. The keyboard is different because it is metal.

When I was done I ate some of my snacks that I saved. The snacks were yummy, the one I liked the most is the small crackers.



When I was done I drew some pictures of monsters and some other pictures. I think I drew asteroids and rocks.



I think that the math test is going to be easier than the reading one. I think it is going to be easy because I am kind of good at math.

The MSP was different because one of the tests is math and one of them is a reading test. The snacks were the same.



I like the reading test better than the math test and I really like the snacks because it is really good.

The Most Awesome Feild Trip

First, we went to Uwajimaya. We got to see a bunch of stuff. My favorite part of Uwajimaya was when me and my group got to see the book store inside. They had a whole bunch of books. They had two levels of books. Upstairs and downstairs.



After that, we went to the Fortune Cookie Factory. It was really yummy. The gave us some samples of cookies and noodles. I liked the part when we got to see how they make the cookies.



Next, we went to an eating place called Sun Ya. My favorite part of Sun Ya was when we had the chopstick contest. The chopstick contest is the table that didn’t use any forks would win. Everybody won even if they used forks.



After that, we went to the park. It was kind of fun. But I was too full too play anything. So I just sat down with Ethan. I only played for like 5 or 10 minutes and then I sat down.



Finally, after the park we went back too the car and drove back to school. Hunter made some trucks honk. To make the trucks or cars honk we put our hand out the window and make your hand go up and down.

The New Test

I just took the test today. Some of the words are so hard to read. So I just guessed on the hard words one. But some of them I knew. It was pretty easy, but not the ones with the hard words in it.



We are going to take another one tomorrow. I think that one is going to be harder because it is the second test and maybe they might make it harder for the kids so they can learn more.

My Trip to Leavenworth

First, we got Mcdonalds for breakfast. Second, we drove there. It was a 3 hour drive. When we got there it was really small.



We went to the store and bought some stuff. I got a turtle but it was dead in the clear box. The people that made it killed the turtle and then put it in the box.

Changing Seats

I liked changing desks. Because I get to get a new partner every 3 weeks. My favorite partner sitting with is Ethan because we are best friends. We play with each other every day. Sometimes he has to go to dance chance so I just play with Ryan and Lucas.



My favorite seat is in the middle on the first two rows. I like it better than any of my other seats because I am closer to the board and when I get called up I don’t have to walk through rows and make stuff fall. Once I walked past somebody’s desk and there was a water bottle and it fell.

Summer Plans

I am going to Idaho for the summer.We are going to a theme park called Silver Wood. It will be fun because it is a theme park and a water park too. I don't think we are taking a plane because it cost to much money. So I guess we are going to drive. After Silver Wood we are driving to Mount Rushmore. It will be fun. We are staying for a week.



I am going with my friends Bryan and Emma. We are going to have a lot of fun at Silver Wood. I don't think they are coming to Mount Rushmore. If they do it will be even more fun. I wish after Mount Rushmore I can go back to Silver Wood.

I will miss writing stories on my blog. We can not write stories on our blog because Mr. Ahlness is retiring. I wish he wasn't retiring.

Bloging in the Summer

I think we should have blogs in the summer because the other kids had it and we don't get to blog. The get to write in the summer and we don't get to.



We should get to keep them because in the summer you might go somewhere. Then you get to wite about your trip to where they went.



I wish we could keep the blog and write in the summer. If we get to then I will be happy!!

This 4th of July was awesome because, we had 2 bags of fireworks. We had 12 cakes and this big pack of triple and double shots in this tube thing.
