What I did on Thanksgiving was I woke up late and I had one big pancake and then we watched the parade and then we watched cars, and after that we watched Lauer Lauer.

Dangerous Sledding

One day when I just woke up I looked out the window and I saw SNOW! “How could it snow when it has not snowed in like 30 days”, I said.



“Elyjah”, my sister said.



“What Sofia”.



“What are you doing”?



“Nothing, wait Sofia. Look out the window”.



“O.k. Elyjah, SNOW, come on Elyjah let’s go and sled”.



“Wait we have to go ask mom O.K.”



“o.k.”



“MOM MOM MOM MOM”!



“what” my mom said.



“Can we go out side and play?” I said.



“ O.k. Just wait until I get up O.K.” my mom said.



“Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” So after my sister and me got all packed up and ate we went out side to play. First we went on the deck and played with my brother but it got boring and I wanted to do something cool like sled down a hill, so I did.



Now I was done with a really dangerous hill and I slid down it on my feet and it was not dangerous. So I had to make it flatter, so when I did I slid down it again and it was a little better but it was still not good so I gave up.



But that night when my dad got home he said…. “ Elyjah, Rueben, I saw a big hill just down the way and it is really slippery”. So me, my dad, and my cousin went to that big hill and when we got there I went down it head first!

Become a Hip Hop dancer

What I want to be when I grow up is a Hip Hop dancer. Why I want to be a Hip Hop dancer is because it is really fun and I am doing it right now too. But you have to take it seriously. And why I want to be a Hip Hop dancer is because ever since I started I love it.



O.k. now I am going to tell you some people that inspired me to Hip Hop Dance. Justin Timberlake, Bow Wow, J low and, Madonna. All of these people Hip Hop dance and they all inspire me to Hip Hop dance.



I have done a show already too, Hip Hop dance and it was really fun. My Hip Hop show was 7 Hours and it was really boring but it was worth it because, after both shows this one girl asked if she could have my autograph and I did. It was really fun. And that is why I want to be a Hip Hop dancer.

What’s on my mind today is the choir fieldtrip to the YMCA. We are going to sing two songs and the two songs that we are singing are the two favorite songs we love. But the cool part about it is that it is today.



And what else is on my mind today is the class field trip. Why my mind is on that today is because it is Ballet and I like Ballet, because I am going to do ballet too.

My Valentine

Hello my name is Elyjah. I am going to tell you how I got my Valentine because I think everyone should have a Valentine. Well here it goes. On a Wednesday afternoon when I got home from school I went in to my room and when I went in to my room my Mom jumped out from behind my door and scared me.



“Raaaaaaaaaaaaaar=http://=http://”



“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa=http://=http://” I screamed.



“What are you trying to do to me, trying to kill me or something?”



“No, just trying to scare you.” my mom said.



“What’s going on in here?” my dad said.



“Nothing, Just scaring Elyjah.” my mom said.



So after all the scaring and stuff I wanted to talk to my Mom. So when I called my Mom over I said to her this.



“Mom, I need to find a Valentine tomorrow.” I said.



“Well, can I be your Valentine for Valentine’s day?” My Mom said.



“No Mom you can’t, it has to be someone that I love a lot.” I said.



So after the talk I went to my cousin and I asked him for some advice for how to get my Valentine because I have never had a Valentine before.



“Ruben, I need to talk to you.” I said.



“Why, and about what.” my cousin said.



“I need advice on how to get a Valentine.” I said.



“I don’t have any advice on how to get a Valentine because I have never had a Valentine before in my whole in entire life.” my cousin said.



So after that I ate diner and went to bed. So, when I woke up I got driest and went to school. Well when I got to school I played for 30 min and I did not see her but when the school bell rang I saw her. Well, right when I saw her I said to her.



“ Hey, well can you be my Valentine?”

And she said…

“Yes”



Now that the story is done I will not tell you who it is.

Multiplication

Well I am doing pretty well at memorizing my multiplication tables because I am saying them over and over again at my house. I am really good at my 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 9.

But the hard ones for me are 7 8 and 6 because I never really don’t do them that much.



Excuse me but I forgot to tell you my name, well, it is Elyjah, and thank you for reading this story because it is a good way for you to like Multiplication because it is good for you. Now, I am going to tell you some questions that I memorized. 2x2=4 1x2=2 and 9x9=81. Well those are some of them because I know a lot of them.



Now I am going to tell you when I started multiplication. Well I started it in 1 grade and it was really fun because, well, I don’t know why.

What my plans are for the “RAINY” weekend are that to night I am going to Hip Hop for 1 hour and a half and it is going to be fun. After Hip Hop my friend might come over and we might work on our science project and it will be fun.



What my other plans are for the weekend are that on Saturday I will just do nothing because I don’t do anything on Saturdays.

What’s on my mind today is the Global Reading Challenge because I wonder what it is going to be like. What else I wonder about the Reading Challenge is if we get to see the books that they read and if there is some books that I have read.

Watching the sun go down

Well what my plans are for Spring break are to watch the sun go down because when I do it is really cool and I love it so much. Well before I do I get ready and what I do to get ready is I get a chair, some Lemonade and glasses. I love to do this because it is beautiful and it is also cool because it changes colors and it changes in to different shapes.



There is some other stuff I like to do on the break and there are… Playing video games, having sleepovers, sleeping, watching T.V. and watching the sun go down. All that stuff is cool but the most cool thing to do on Spring break is to watch the sun go down.

Earth day

Well I think they don’t know about it because it might not be a popular Holiday and people in other countries might not think much about it. Why else I think people don’t know about it is because people are not spreading the word.



What I think I could do about it is just wait and see what people think about living in a dirty world.

What I think about earth day

What I think about on earth day is I just lying in the grass and looking at the clean sun. I like to play in the clean grass with my sister and my brother because without a clean earth we could not play outside, because your moms and dads would not let you play outside. I also think about other countries and already how dirty they are and I don’t want them to get any more dirty.

The WASL

Hello, my name is Elyjah and I am going to tell about the WASL that I am taking. It is really easy right now because we are doing Math, and I love math and I am good at it. What else I am going to tell you about the WASL is that the first day is always hard. Well, I thought it was hard.



Well, I am going to give you a couple of tips about the WASL. I am only going to give you three tips. 1. Always get a good sleep. 2. Always get a good breakfast. 3. Have fun with it. Those are the tips I am going to tell you.



Now I am going to tell you the fun part about the WASL because I know you are thinking there should be nothing fun about the WASL, but there is. The fun thing about the WASL is the break and the snacks. The snacks are really good and the break is only 5 min long. But it is fun.



The reading is always hard because you have to read a lot and it gets boring. I mean I thought that it was hard because it was boring and annoying. The first day of the reading was hard because it was the first day and the first day is always hard because it is new to you. I kind of liked the reading because I love to read because I think it is fun. It was kind of hard too because it took me forever to get done with it.



I loved the math because I also like math a lot too. The math was easy because it is stuff that I have done before and was really easy for me.

Going to the Gorge

Chapter 1 Getting Ready and Leaving



Hello, my name is Elyjah and I am going to tell you a story about me when I was 5 years old and I went to the Gorge. My dad told me 3 days before we were going to leave and I was so excited. The day before we went, my dad and me were packing up for the big trip. My mom was helping me too, my sister was not because she was only 2 years old, but she could talk. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you what I was going to go see at the Gorge. I am going to go see Jack Jonson and Ben Harper with my dad, my uncle, and some of our friends. O.k., we were going to leave and my mom was so worried because we are going to the sand dunes and it will be fun. My mom made me bring a helmet because she was scared that my head might get hurt, so she made me bring a helmet.







When we left to go there my dad and I went to the store to get food because we were going to be there for three nights and four days, and it will be fun. My Dad and I got some candy, some chips, and a bunch of other stuff. It took us a long time to get the stuff because we were going to be at the Gorge for a long time, so we had to get a lot of stuff. Well, when we got on the road I was so excited to go there. I love Jack Jonson and Ben Harper. I have all of there CD’s and I love them.



When we got on the road I was so bored because I had nothing to play with except my Game Boy, and that got dumb after the first 5 minutes I started to play it. When we got next to the Mountains I asked my dad if I could have one of the granola bars we got and he said “NO!” Then I said, “But Dad, I am really hungry.” But he still said “NO!” Then he said, “O.K. Elyjah, you can just have one because we are almost there.” So I took one and I felt better.

My perfect weekend

Well, my perfect weekend was when I was the hero of the day because my sister was about to die and I saved her. Well, heres how the story goes.



One day me, my sister, and my dad were riding our bikes and there was this big hill and we went down it. Well, my sister did not know how to do the brakes. So, she went flying down the hill. Then I ran down there, (first I dropped my bike) and stopped her. My dad said good save Elyjah but I did not think so.



Sofia was my sister and she got so scared but when I saved her she stopped crying.

Chapter 2

When we got there it was easy to get the car in the parking lot because it was small and we were the first ones there and that was really cool for me. After we got there we got the camp set up because there was nothing else to do. Once we were done setting the camp up my uncle got there and we were happy because it started to rain and the tent was not done. We were glad because he brought his truck and a tarp because he knows it was going to rain. So, after he was done setting up the tarp we sat on the sand and waited for the other people.



When the other people got there my uncle took off his shirt and jumped in to the lake. When he got back up, he said that it was really cold but he jumped in again and this time some of our friends jumped in too. When my dad got in to he said to me to come it too because he said I would like to jump in to the lake off of a 20 foot cliff, and I did. The first time I did I was so freaked out because I have never done it before, but I liked it so much that I did it again. Well, the 2nd time I did it I almost drowned. When I almost drowned my dad came down and got me back up.



When I was done jumping off of the cliff, I went back to the camp and ate cookies. I almost ate the whole bag of cookies, and when I was done I had a stomachache. Well, after I ate the cookies my uncle and my dad and some of our friends made ribs. My dad is a pro at cooking because he is a chef and he makes good ribs. The ribs were so good I ate 5 of them because they were good.

hello, my name is ... Well, you know. Well, I am going to tell you what I am going to tell you what I am going to do over the summer and it is going to be a good story. Well, I am going to go hiking and camping next to a mountin and I am going to go to the drive in and a bunch of other stuff. I am going to sleep in and I am going to go to bed and I will get a new game for my wii and it will be a fun game.



Well, I also might sell my bike that I have now and then get a new bike or I just might keep my bike that I have now.
