One morning I woke up and rushed down stairs but nobody was there. One hour later everyone in my family told me big news. The news was that I was going to play laser tag for my birthday. I was exited to play laser tag with my family and a copal of friends that I new sense I was five!! They are my favorite friends!!

Six Flags

I like it when I go to six flags with my family to play the rides with my brother. my mom doesn't like to get wet. My favorite ride is the scorpion because it is so crazy and very fun. I also like most of the other rides but I like the scorpion the most. I don’t like some of the rides because there not that fun and not that crazy. The day I went was so hot so my mom asked me if I wanted to go and I said yes. I went with my family and ant and uncoil.

Yesterday three forth grade classes and I went to Animal Ark to learn about every animal that was there. Animal Ark is full of animals that live there because they were injured or someone tried to keep them as illegal pets. We went there to learn about their habitat and description. My favorite animals are the bear named Yogi and the red fox. They are so cool and look kinda funny. I love Animal Ark because it is such a wonderful place.

Orange County

I wish I was able to go back to Orange County because a lot of my friends live there. I also have family members that live there like my sister and gramma. I want to see my gramma because she is sick and I want to see how she is doing. While I am there I want to go to a cheap furniture place called Ikea. I want to go to Ikea because that is were they sell furniture. We are moving soon and I want to help buy the furniture. I really want to go Orange County for the games. Places like Circus Circus and Six Flags plus more. I want to also go to the parks to play when I want to go out and play. I want to go there so I can see my sisters and other bigger friends plus cousins and aunts and uncles. I really wish I could go to Orange County for a lot of reasons.

One day I came in the classroom and saw a camera crew. I was amazed because we where going to Skype and some of us were going to be interviewed! We were also going to go on Google Earth so the camera crew could record our reaction with a camera. When we went on our laptops Mr. Crosby was one of the people that got interviewed. The equipment that the camera crew had where cameras, lights and microphones. While we were Skyping they talked to Celest at her house by using the laptop to talk to her. After talking to her and asking questions they packed all their stuff and went to go see Celest at her house. We did not see them much after that but it was a fun day of interviewing and going on our laptops.

Halloween

One day I was so happy because it was Halloween and I



could go trick-or-treating with my friends. When I went



trick-or-treating I did not dress up. Instead I dressed in



regular clothes. I went trick-or-treating with my friends



until we had a lot of candy. Enough that would last us a



month or a year. We started trick-or-treating when it was



about five o’clock. We stopped trick-or-treating around



eleven o’clock and then walked home. I spent most of



my time with my brother and two friends. The special



thing we did was we went to our house and all the candy



was put in the middle. We all tried to grab as much candy



as we could get at once. To me Halloween is the best



holiday at least until I get bigger and I can’t go trick-or-



treating anymore. And that was my Halloween this year!



So far this was my favorite Halloween.

One day at school our teacher Mr.Crosby told us that we were going to Skype with an eighth grade class in Maryland. When we Skyped we talked about their children’s book that they made. They asked us questions about Celest and how long she has been in our class. They also asked if we were typing things on our blogs a lot. While we Skyped them they suddenly just froze on the screen. I like how they made some of the videos that they shared with us. The only thing that did not work was that their screen froze on us. This was another day of Skyping someone new. That day was really fun and

exciting.

Thanksgiving

I am really looking forward to the upcoming



Thanksgiving because we’re celebrating



Thanksgiving in class. We are going to have a



barbecue outside our class. I am looking forward



to Thanksgiving because that is how I remember my



old friends that I liked a lot. One of the reasons



that we are having a party of Thanksgiving is that



we are studying Indian and pilgrims history. Our

bring one item they ate back then so every one

Thanksgiving Feast

Yesterday was a good day because we had a barbecue. Our teacher Mr. Crosby cooked a turkey for our class and venison [deer meat] too. When I entered the class and sat down Mr. Crosby explained to us all about what we were going to do for Thanksgiving in class. Before we started to eat Mr. Crosby took a class picture of the class standing by the turkey that wasn't folly cooked yet. When we started to eat Mr. Crosby let one table at a time to go get there food to eat. The best to me was the turkey, venison, corn and pumpkin pie. There was also salmon and cod. The drink we all got was ginger ale. It was really good! The last thing everyone ate was pumpkin pie. The favorite part to me in the movie was when they have a feast together. That day was really good and fun!! That was the best Thanksgiving to me so far in my life and maybe some other people to!!!

Our Class Break-In!

Today I came in the class and our window was shattered. When I saw the broken glass I was wondering who would break into a classroom. I was happy because they did not take anything important except our teachers cord for his camera. I felt terrible because our teacher lost his cord for his camera. I am suprised that they did not take our class laptops because they are worth a lot. When they broke in they left a pile of glass by our class wall! When they broke in they knocked over and broke our world globe. After our teacher told everyone in class about what happened he told us to start writing about what happen and what it looked like. I do not know what is going to happened next but THIS IS ALL TRUE!

If I was to write about receiving gifts or giving gifts I would write about receiving. On Christmas I always get something on that day. Most of the gifts I receive are on my birthday. Some gifts I get are clothing, video games and other stuff. Other presents I get are systems. The gifts I get are mostly from my family. Other gifts I get are from friends and teacher plus other people. Some gifts I get are important because I need them to sleep, eat and live. The time I got my new backpack was important to me because my sister got it for me. A lot of my friends give me friendship because without friendship you would not have friends. The day I get most of my present is on my birthday and Christmas!!!

Have you had something special ever happen to you? Let me tell you my special day. When I woke up I was getting ready and going down stairs. When I saw my mom she said “happy birthday”!! I was really surprised when she said happy birthday. I was so happy because she made my favorite foods. She made cake, chicken and spaghetti. It was my moms best cooking. When we started the party it was fun because we played a lot of games. Before we started eating the food looked so tasty. When we started to eat the food it was so delicious but we had a lot left over. Me and my brother were able to invite friends. One of the things that we did was we had a big water balloon fight. We saw the manager and he told us to clean the water balloon fight that caused a mess! The best part of the hole birthday party was at the end of the birthday we all went to go play laser tag! It was a good birthday but not my favorite!

I have learned a lot of ways to help people and become a better friend by reading the book Maniac Magee. If you want to have more friends here is a couple ways that you can learned from listening to the story of Maniac Magee. I can be better as a friend to some people by helping them while there injured. I can help by being a friend that just hangs around and do what they do. I also learned how to be a good friend by helping others while they need help with something important. I need to treat others like myself because if I do I would get more friends and same thing for other people to. I like to be a best friend because you get help and give help like Maniac Magee. I can be a better friend by just talking things out. I want to be a better friend so I can just have more friends to play with because Maniac Magee made me want to!

What do you hope your vacation is going to be like? I hope my three month vacation is going to be spectacular. I am hoping to go to places I never been to before because that would be a good experiment for me and my family. I am hoping we can go to Wild Island because I like the rides they make and there food. I like bowling because I am pretty good at bowling and I like it. I want to on vacation go play laser tag at the Grand Sierra. On vacation I want to sleep at my friends house and play a game named Halo 3 which is very fun game. On vacation I want to go to Six Flags because that place sounds really fun and I bet you it is. There are other places I want to go to like Circus Circus for my vacation and a lot more to. Have you had a invention that you wanted to become true? I have a invention that I want to come true. One day there was a magical burger that if you took evan a small nibble you could freeze anything you wanted to ever! So there was a guy named Everth and he took a nibble of the magical burger! Everth went around the world freezing the people that he did not like at all. When Everth tried freezing the cops because he did not like them at all they shot bullets but they didn't work because Everth just froze the bullets. This prehistoric rampage went on for two whole years. After his powers ran out Everth made a terrible mistake! From all the power he had he could not control himself. The last day of the t wo years Everth made a acttsedent mistake that caused his life! Everth fell and froze himself! That was the end of the magical burger and Everth.

One day my eyes pop open and I went to go freshen up but my mom was in the bathroom so I waited until my mom came out of the bathroom. My mom finally came out and told me I was going to califona. My mom told me and my brother to pack the things you only need to use so we did. Two days later my sister came to pick us up at 1:00 because the ride was 8 hours. When we arrived it was night and we were all tired so we went to bed. Those where the fun days because I got to see my sister again.

Grace Corrigan

Today was very special because we Skyped up with YouthBridges. Grace Corrigan came to tell us about Christa McAuliffe and we also asked her questions. I like when Grace Corrigan asked questions and we answered them. I felt really excited because we had Grace Corrigan in our class. Other people like YouthBridges recorded what Grace Corrigan did with us. Grace Corrigan is the mother of Christa McAuliffe (the teacher in space.) She was the woman that was in the Space Shuttle and died because it exploded on take off. Grace Corrigan was a very nice woman that taught us allot of things. We also Skype most of the things that happened while Grace Corrigan was in our class. Skype is a web site that other people like YouthBrigges can hear us and we can hear them. Grace Corrigan was really nice to us. It was such a good experience. The interesting thing to me was that Christa McAuliffe signed up to go to space.

Going To Disneyland

Going To Disneyland

One day my mom asked me if I wanted to go to Disneyland with the rest of my family. I said yes with a great big smile on my face like I was taking a picture.

I got ready and ran hyper speed to the car like I was a road runner.

When we got in the car and it started we were off.

When we got to Disneyland we went on crazy rides that were excited and fun to me.

After all the rides we went to go get some pizza and sodas then ate for a long time because it was good.

At the end of the day we went home and played for a bit then we went to sleep.

This is my story of going to Disneyland and having fun and excitement!!!

My brother, friend and I went in the frosty cold snow and made a snow fort that was big enough for ten people. Once we got bored of the fort my friend and I were in there while my brother went out and destroyed the fort.

Once the fort was destroyed we made big snow angels that didn’t evan look like us.

Then we had a snowball fight that all of us got hurt in.

The hole time we were playing in the frosty snow it felt like smooth glass.

At the end of the day we were all very cold and went inside for hot coffee.

Snowy Day

Anniversary

Anniversary

This was a very special day for our classroom last year and Celest had a special day too.

Last year we had learned about a web site that was free and helpful for our class. The web site was called Skype.

Our teacher taught us about Skype because he told us about a student in our class that we probably wouldn’t see.

Our teacher was trying to get Celest in our class by using a laptop and a web cam. That was all we needed to see her.

The first time we saw her we made a video about all of us are asleep and then we wake up and start to work on our first blog post.

Celest couldn’t come to school because she had leukemia which is blood cancer. She also couldn’t come to school because chemotherapy witch is also very bad.

It has been one year and Celest is a lot healthier and can now come to school but they still half to give her drugs.

Today is our anniversary and the day is January 1/24/08.

I would fell mad because we blog a lot and I am us to it. I like blogs a lot because it helps us learn and have fun.

My Xbox 360 Elite

My Xbox 360 Elite

One morning me and my brother went out to play games with a friend of mine and brother. We played a tag game and a lot of other games. Then my mom called us in and she told us news that our ears couldn’t believe. She asked us if we wanted to go buy an Xbox 360 Elite! We answered at the same time. “YES”! We went to go buy the Xbox 360 Elite and it was $399.59 plus the games which was another $100.00. We also bought a control but it was a lot cheeper.

When we got home we looked at the instructions and then put the Xbox 360 Elite together then started to play. We had four games and they were Assassins Creed, Halo 3 Kingdom and Circle Fire of Death, and Sonic The Hedgehog. They were all very fun.

When we were done playing we went to go and eat then play out side again. But this is my story of having a Xbox 360 Elite and having a blast. Do you have one and have a blast???

Lunar Eclipse 2008

Lunar Eclipse 2008

Today was the day of the 2008 lunar eclipse. It was really hard to see because it was cloudy. When the clouds finally lifted we could see the lunar eclipse.

Some times the color was grayish but some times the Moon was red and partly white. One part of the lunar eclipse the Moon became dark red. The lunar eclipse looks very nice. The Moon was very shiny at some of they parts. It looked great.

I did not see the lunar eclipse because I was sick but I saw very nice pictures. I was so so mad because I missed the lunar eclipse. I saw in one picture that a rocket past the lunar eclipse leaving a trail of smoke behind. That picture was very detailed and a good one. When the lunar eclipse was nearly over it looked like a shiny star that you can see well. Were you able to see the lunar eclipse?

Dear Mr. Upton’s class and parents, I feel bad because your blogs are blocked. Im a student in fifth grade that lives in the USA, Sparks, Nevada.

I know they blocked your blog but it’s for your classes safety. I know your students are upset. They should allow your class to blog because it helps students learn how to spell, write, read, and speak better English which helps in school a lot.

For the safety of your class I would tell them to not put there last name, parents name, phone number, address, or any personal information on there blog. I do hope your class gets your blogs back.

Special Trip To Alaska

We had just sat down on the school bus that was taking us on our field trip when the bus driver stood up, turned around and in a loud voice said, “ We are not going on the trip you thought we were. Your class has won a trip to a very special place. The next thing we knew some kind of gas started to spray from the ceiling and we all fell asleep in our seats. When we woke up hours later we found out we had been taken to Alaska.

We were all very shocked and very cold. We saw many things like penguins, seals and it was snowing so it got colder and colder.

I asked my friends if they were cold but I remember we split our ways because they were mad at me. Then I ran off looking for my two friends. I heard voice's in a cave. Then a bear saw me and growled. I ran for my life but the bear ran faster and faster. I looked forward and saw a cliff and ran to another direction. I was so scared I screamed like a girl.

I was getting tired and the more I ran the more the cold air blew in my face. I was freezing cold. I felt like crying but I held in my tears so none would come out.

The teacher found me and said “Where have you been, you had me worried.” I just smiled and said “taking a walk.” After all that we went back to the school. I asked my friends “Are you guys still mad at me?” They smiled and said we never were.

Skyping My Partner

Today our 5th grade class Skyped SouthParis’s students which are also in a 5th grade class. They live in Long Island. My friend and I saw our partners for our project, The Mystery Of Harris Burdick. We were assigned to talk with our two partners.

We had to collaborate on our Google Docs. Google Docs is a word processing.

I was having a really good time with my team mate Brian, and Caitlin. We were discussing what we should do about the story. we took notes about the story to help us write. We ended up having lots of notes that helped us.

It was cool seeing words appear as they press the keys to make a sentence!!! We could not hear each other but we can see what each other typed. We where talking for a while but then they stopped answering back on every ones laptop. I think they stopped answering back because they had to go some where. It was so fun Skyping a very fun class.

The Imaginable Bird

The Imaginable Bird

I was walking home one day when I saw a bird off in the distance flying in my direction. As it got closer I noticed it didn’t look like any bird I have ever seen. It kept flying towards me and to my amazement it zoomed right up to me and landed on my shoulder. I wasn’t sure what to do. I thought it was cool, but it also made me very nervous. Then it bent its neck to look me straight in the eye and suddenly he pecked me in the neck with his long yellow beak. I screamed “ow”.

I started to run home because it keep pecking me which is very painful. He was pecking me so much I started to bleed. I grabbed it and threw it into the street. A car was coming.... I threw my myself and saved the bird. Even though I saved it it kept pecking me on my neck.

I put him on the ground and started to walk home. I noticed he was following me. I stopped he stopped. I walked he walked. I thought it was one of my friends that got turned into a bird. I was thinking of what he did to turn into a bird. I remembered that he drank a old witch’s soda. I was lucky that I didn’t drink the soda. I gave him the same old soda that way he drank it. At first he didn’t turn back to a human. All of a sudden the bird became the same best friend I knew before.

On Tuesday May 6th, I had to make a 22 ounce lunch for a field trip because I couldn’t take to much. 10 ounce of food to eat, 10 ounces of liquid to drink, and 2 ounce of waste like plastic and wrappings. When I got ready I went to go get my lunch which was two small lunchables that weighed 10 ounces together. My 10 ounce liquid was half of a propel. We were able to bring a snack and it wasn’t part of the 22 ounce of lunch so it could help us get through the day. On May 7th I was ready to go to my friends house just as my mom called me and she told me to go out side so she could take me to my friend’s house. When I got to my friend’s house we weighed our lunches. Mine was 24 ounces so I had to drink a little more of my propel so it would be 22 ounces all together.

When me and my two friends Marcos and Everth, got to class we were almost one minute late. When we got inside class our teacher wanted everyone to weigh there lunch even if you have already just to make sure. I think everyone had 22 ounces but some students had to take some of there lunch out. Our teacher told us about journals that we would be using. We were going to pack our lunches in one backpack and hoped it all fit. And it did. We carried our communication presentation that we have worked on for lots of weeks. Before we got on the bus we saw fourth graders that had presentations too. The biggest presentations in our class went in the side area out side the bus. While we were going to go to Marsopolis inside the bus I was talking with friends once in a while. I felt nervous because that was my first time going but I also felt prepared because I learned a lot in class. Marsopolis is right by the Reno Livestock Event Center. When I went inside Marsopolis all I saw was a huge room with lots of kids. We first started off by putting our projects on our table. Then we found a seat to listen. When I was sitting down it was so loud because there were four speakers. Two of the speakers were on each other and the other two were at the other side but same thing. It was so loud because there was more than five hundred students!!! There was also teachers and parents too. Mr. Bryant told us everything to do and everywhere to go. When we first met our team they were kinda rude. We started to know each other better and started working as a team. We first had to cut two feet of plastic off because our plastic was way to big to use. After we cut the plastic we all gathered up by a wall so we wouldn’t be in any ones way. We started making the floor first because we thought that we needed that the most. After the floor we made the walls and then the ceiling. We had to put fans connected to an air tunnel so the air could go in and it would lift the plastic up.

After we did that we were able to eat outside our habitats. I ate with two friends named Lorenzo and Victor. My lunch was two small lunchables that tasted so good and I was able to drink a flavored propel. While we were eating there was so much noise around I could hardly hear them. I was eating a pretty messy meal because the sauce spilled a lot.

After we ate for about 30 minutes we had to watch rock videos which were pretty cool or show our presentation. We had to do our presentation first before we could watch rock videos. We heard from two groups before we could do our presentation. Our presentation suprised two people that where the teachers because they were the only ones listening. We shared only one riddle. There were some funny presentations that made me laugh. The other groups had low voices so I had to really listen to hear what they said. Some of the presentations the people were not trying real hard. The presentation was hard because I was kinda scared and nervous at the same time. The easy part of the presentation was listening to the other ones. After we did the presentations we watched the rock videos and we had to right in the journal. The writing in the journal was so hard that im not even finished with it yet.

There was a part in the day where a person in every team had a job to do. The job was to connect the habitats together and make the walk through. All of the other people went outside to go play games. The game we played was duck duck goose and some one in our class started to bleed on there elbow. We were playing for a while and then we saw ambulance, fire trucks and police cars too. When the walk though was ready we went inside and clapped for the people that made it.

There was two ways to go in. There was so many people that I was getting crushed. There were high scholars that were punching and shoving a lot. A girl was protecting us until she got hit in the back. The people that were hitting got in trouble. When I went through the walk through we saw my friend Everth and his project was broken. We kept on going and then we finally reached the end.

We went back to sit down in the middle of the cosmic village and Mr. Bryant told us than you for coming and he had a wonderful time with us and he wanted to thank all of the 500 students and the parents and teachers to.

Then when the buses came he excused the students that went on that bus. We were almost the last one so we got to see a kid with a bump half of the size of my fist on his forehead. The ambulance came to see what happened and if he was ok. When our bus arrived we got on and was on our way back to school. On the bus we were talking and saying how great Marsopolis was. We got back and Mr. Crosby excused us and I was on my way home after a great day at Marsopolis.

California Trip

One day my eyes pop open and I went to go freshen up but my mom was in the bathroom so I waited until my mom came out of the bathroom. My mom finally came out and told me I was going to California.

My mom told me and my brother to pack the things you only need to use so we did. Two days later my sister came to pick us up at 1:00 because the ride was 8 hours. When we arrived it was night and we were all tired so we went to bed.

Those where the fun days because I got to see my sister again and went to places like Six Flags. While I was there I also ate my favorite foods like really sweet buns and some other stuff to.

Today was very special because we Skyped up with YouthBridges. Grace Corrigan came to tell us about Christa McAuliffe and we also asked her questions. I like when Grace Corrigan asked questions and we answered them. I felt really excited because we had Grace Corrigan in our class. Other people like YouthBridges recorded what Grace Corrigan did with us. Grace Corrigan is the mother of Christa McAuliffe (the teacher in space.)

She was the woman that was in the Space Shuttle and died because it exploded on take off. Grace Corrigan was a very nice woman that taught us allot of things. We also Skype most of the things that happened while Grace Corrigan was in our class. Skype is a web site that other people like YouthBrigges can hear us and we can hear them. Grace Corrigan was really nice to us. It was such a good experience. The interesting thing to me was that Christa McAuliffe signed up to go to space.

One morning I woke up and rushed down stairs but nobody was there. One hour later everyone in my family came home with a big suprise that made me so happy I was jumping everywhere and with my excitement I was thrilled. The news was that I was going to play laser tag for my birthday. I was exited to play laser tag with my family and a couple of friends that I new sense I was five!! I am really looking forward to the upcoming Thanksgiving because we’re celebrating Thanksgiving in class. We are going to have a barbecue outside our class. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving because that

is how I remember my old friends that I liked a lot.

One of the reasons that we are having a party of Thanksgiving is that we are studying Indian and pilgrims history. Our teacher Mr.Crosby is letting everyone at least bring one item they ate back then so every one could have a taste. I hope that Thanksgiving becomes successful. I like to go to Six Flags with my family to play the rides with my family and maybe evan friends. My mom doesn't like to get wet. My favorite ride is the Scorpion because it is so crazy and very fun. I also like most of the other rides but I like the Scorpion the most.

I don’t like some of the rides because there not that fun and not that crazy and to slow to me so and tend to go on the bigger rides. I love Six Flags so much I would always beg and beg and beg my mom if I could go to Six Flags with friends, family, and cousins.

Today in class we had “Ling Hao” jasmin tea. Most people in our class didn’t like it but me and maybe four more people liked it. Most people didn’t like it because it was really bitter but I am use to it. Here is what the our afternoon was like.

We had to smell our tea and write down what it was like. What it reminded us about and what it makes us feel like. Then we took a sip with our thumb in front and our pointer finger, middle finger, and ring finger in the back. We also had to put our pinky up because we had to get as close as we could to drink it like the fancy people would.

Then our teacher gave us a Rich tea cookie and gave us directions on how to eat it like the fancy people. He said that you grab a corner and dip it in the tea then take a bit where it’s wet. He made us smell that too and write about that also. I put it smells like a original cookie that I eat. Then he let us taste it with the jasmin tea. I though it was good and so did most of the other class. I think they liked it because they thought it was sweet. Once we finished the cookie he gave us all fortune cookies. We had to break it and read the fortune that we had and we were able to eat it. My fortune was “True friend ship is a true love”. He had us do the same thing as the tea and Rich cookie. All of this was fun. When he told us we where going to write a story about this I was really paying attention to what we had to do and what he said.

When he asked if anyone wanted more tea I ran up there but he told me to walk. So I did. When I got more tea I finished it with my pinky high just like he said. I really wanted to drink more but he said try to hurry so we could answer questions. He made the jasmin tea in a perculator. A perculator is for coffee but he had that with him so he made use with it. I really didn’t care but I still loved the tea. We drank the tea in a plastic cup. We only got half the cup full the first time but if we got more we could get as much as we wanted.

This after noon was really fun for me and other people to.

Hmm. What can I say. I love soccer. I love soccer because it is very fun to me. My favorite movie is Robin Hood because the movie is really funny. I love being in 6th grade because we are the biggest and the oldest kids in the school. I think it’s kind of tough because everyone else looks up to us. I like math because I savor it and it was my 5th grade dream. I like going on the internet because we can stare at cool things and watch awesome videos. My favorite class is music because I love playing the viola a lot. I relish the viola because we get to use a small bow and rosin. I think it’s cool. My favorite TV show is Sponge Bob Square Pants because it’s a funny show. I also like it because Sponge Bob does stupid things and it’s funny to me.

Information

If you have to much information on where you live and stuff like that on the internet you should take it off. The reason you should take it off is bad people all around the world can see it and they might come for you. Another reason is they can try to become your friend and you might trust them. Then they will kidnap you ( if your not being smart ) and no one will ever hear from you again.



Address

Never put your address on the internet because that is very dangerous. If you do you should take it off or put it somewhere only friends and family you can really trust can see. It is dangerous because people you don’t want to meet may find you and bad things will happen.



Social Network

If you have a social network page like ( Bebo, Myspace, Facebook, Flickr, blog, wiki, Twitter Youtube account) or anything like that, you should make sure you don’t have anything like your number or any personal info on it. It is very bad to have that kind of stuff on your page because people can figure out who you are, what you look like, where you live, if your home alone, what time you get home and stuff like that. It is very hard to do but people are really determined to get you. So you better be careful. That is really dangerous because you might get kidnaped or even worst.

I think that we should have more parks and skate parks. I think we should have more of those because there are not many. If we don’t build more skate parks or parks, we might have to travel really far just to play. Our parents won’t want to take us because it waste gas and because the price of everything is going up. If our parents do bring us it’s very far away. I don’t think they will want you to walk home because it’s far away. If we don’t build more skate parks or just regular parks we will waste tons and tons of gas to get to one.



We need more jobs that pay better money!! Have you noticed how many people are losing there jobs because their employer doesn’t have enough money to pay them? It‘s really ridiculous!!! Some people don’t even have enough money to eat or go to the doctor because they don’t have insurance. I think this way because I see lots of homeless on the streets just sitting there like they want to die. I just think it’s very wrong because there are very rich people that have extra money but some don’t so I just think it’s very wrong.

Today in class we Skyped Mr. Mayo and his class. At first our cam was working but their’s wasn’t. I’m not sure why theirs wasn’t but after a few minutes Mr. Mayo tried restarting his laptop. It took him about a minute to restart and when he came back he tried to call us. They got to see us but we still couldn’t see them. So Mr. Crosby (our teacher) and Mr. Mayo (their teacher) said let’s just see what we can do. Our class went first and one of our tables went up. They shared their vignette and sat back down. We had to write notes about what happened and what we did and show our vignette. We were learning more about them and who their bloging buddies were. They asked us questions like what time we start school and what time do we end? What's our favorite football team? What's the weather down here? What's the time and stuff like that. We told them we start at nine AM, and end at three PM. Some people replied to the football question. I said my favorite football team was the Rams. Mr. Crosby talked about the weather down here. They are three hours ahead of us so I was kind of amazed by that for some reason. A person in their class said we played soccer here a lot, he is right. It looked like they were really excited but I saw some student’s that were not. Then Mr. Mayo finally got his cam to work and we could see them. After a minute we were losing the connection and finally we disconnected. We tried getting back on, and it worked. Mr. Mayo’s students shared some more stuff with us and they disconnected again. I could tell they were trying really hard and they were excellent. When we got to see each other I noticed that our teacher put a wireless card in is laptop. I wasn’t sure why but he did anyways. When Mr. Mayo said he was sorry for disconnecting a lot, Mr. Crosby said that time was our fault. I was thinking in my head how? Mr. Crosby didn’t explain how it was our fault, he just continued. Our group cleared our throats and began to speak. My part said “Later on he got on his web page, he had a new message that said, “Hi my name is Joe! Then we finished everything up and said we might Skype on Monday again. When I heard that I was kind of happy. All of that lead to this story.

Party At Cynthia’s House



I woke up. It was 8:25. I thought I was going to be late! I jumped out of bed and ran to the shower. When I got out my mom said “Hurry”. I got my backpack and ran to get my cell phone. We ran faster than a horse to the car and I got to Everth’s apartment. She said bye and I went to Everth’s door and knocked. I saw Everth and his two brothers. Fernando and Alex. Alex is more of the feisty one. While Fernando is just random and jumps everywhere. One time I got Alex kind of mad and he tried punching me.

When Everth went to go tell his mom that he was leaving I ran and ditched Everth. When I got to class I was panting like a dog. Then I saw Everth and he was acting like he was walking. I think he was but I'm not sure. After school I went home to get something to eat and went to take another shower. Then my mom said come to my cousins house and tell her when I want to go. I got something to eat so I wouldn’t be hungry later.

I went to my cousins house that's not far away from mine and once I got there my mom said “You want to go now”? I said yeah. So we went to the car and she said you lead the way. I said OK. I asked if we could go to Everth’s house because I wanted to go with him. She said that's fine. She new where that was so she didn’t ask. I jumped out and walked to Everth’s door. When I got up there I had a half mohawk because my hairs are kind of tall, it wouldn’t stay up.

When Everth opened the door I saw only one of his eyes. Then he saw me and started laughing. I just ignored that. He sat on his sofa and watched TV for a bit. In a bit I said “Do you want to play in your back yard?” He said “Sure.” In his back yard there are lots of stuff like soccer balls, basketballs, basketball hoop, small toys, tiny pieces of wood, and most likely his little brother. I went out there, Everth did to. I saw Fernando his two or three year old brother first. I didn’t see Alex though. We started to get bored so we shot some hoops. I made it before Everth. Then we were juggling a soccer ball for a bit. We asked his mom if we could go to Marcos’s house.

She said “Yea.” We were hasty on that run. We got there to get Cynthia’s number because Everth’s mom said she has to have it in case of a emergency happened. When we got there he gave us a bottled Sunny D. I said thanks but they just keep talking. We asked Marcos if he wants to come with us. He said Nah because he got his own ride. We said OK at the same time. We ran back because they live maybe 100 feet away. It’s not very far for me but Everth was complaining. We got back and we saw Fernando and Alex outside in his parking lot.

They were on there tricycles. We ran in and went to the back yard again and played. When we saw his mom she asked if we were ready to go. I said yeah and Everth did to. She asked Everth’s dad if he can stay here and watch the kids. He said sure. We went to the car and me and Everth saw a video that said “Don't drink and drive”. The guy was driving while drinking a cuprisun. I always laugh at that video. So me and Everth made a remix of that video and we drank Sunny D instead. When we were on our way I called Cynthia. She sounds like she inhaled helium when you talk to her on the phone. She said to get to her house you have to drive by a church and there's a way in.

After a couple of minutes we finally got there. We saw a couple of people playing on skateboards. Then I saw some of Cynthia’s friends and family. They asked me if I wanted to go see her. I said sure why not. I walked into the house and some of her family members said hi to me so I said hi back. Then we went to the back where there are three rooms I think. I knocked on a door, no one did anything, knocked on another same thing, knocked once more I heard talking. All of Cynthia’s friends where helping her dress up and tried to make her look good. When they stopped talking I ran to a room and hid because they where coming out. When they came out I exploded in tears because it was so funny. Cynthia was a “Dark Angel”. She had dark wings, a crown, arm straps, leg straps and glitter every where. I laughed and laughed. I think the wings looked like bug wings but I didn’t say anything because that would be mean.

We went to the garage and there was pizza, chips, soda, and Tabasco sauce. I went and got some chips. Then in a bit more and more people came. When more people came they opened the garage so people can go in and out so they don’t have to take the long way. I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t eat my slice of pizza because you can only have one. I went back outside because Marcos, Everth and I started up a game of tag.

We had some fun for a bit because we are pretty fast. When we got bored we saw some people in costumes. I didn’t come in a costume because I don’t like them. When we saw a girl that had a pitch fork, dummy Everth asked her for almost a year. Not really a year but a long time. It was really hot so we went to go lay in the nice cold grass. I was so bored It felt like it was wet but it wasn’t. After a few minutes we all agreed to go look for people and talk to them. We did and that got really old fast. Then I remembered what Cynthia looked like and started cracking up again.

Marcos asked what's so funny. I said nothing. When everyone came it was becoming dark. We decided to go in the garage because it was getting cold. In there was more people that were eating. I was so bored still. When everyone was inside Cynthia asked her bigger brother if she could use his Ipod. He said yeah but just for a bit. She took it and put it into her speaker and it played. Everyone started dancing. Well at least tried to break dance. I saw a person that thought he was really cool because he thinks he can dance. I think he can’t dance.

Then we put the Ipod back in and Cynthia turned off the lights so we can dance. After a bit I was felling a headache so I went outside for a bit. So I could also get some fresh air. When I went back in Everth was dancing with Cynthia’s mom. He looked like he was having fun. When they stopped everyone went outside cause someone came. I looked at the person. I saw her, it was her. Jazmin was being gothic! I ran up to her just to laugh but that got boring very fast too.

Then the lights turned on. Everyone was complaining so Cynthia turned it back off. The lights where blinking a lot. Blink, stop, blink, stop. It was so hot in there with all the people. It was a very small garage too. I was so bored. Then everyone ran outside again and this time a big guy came. His name is James. I call him J because it’s faster.

Then someone's mom came to pick someone up. He said bye to Cynthia and said thanks for the party. Then he said bye to everyone else. Then the “cool guy” said do I want to do a back flip. Cynthia turned on the lights. I said sure. He grabbed me by my rib cage and flip me over his head. But what he didn’t know was my hand was on his neck so when I landed I pulled him down. I went back outside and Cynthia’s bigger brother Ricky, asked if we could look for any black Honda’s I think. I’m not positive but I think that's right. Then Everth was betting me he could do a front flip off of a power generator. I bet him, but I lost. He did it but landed on his back bone. I laugh so hard I was on the floor.

Then Cynthia came out and she was on the phone. Marcos came out and he said she on the phone 24/7. He was always good at making jokes. We were out there for maybe an hour and saw nothing. Then Cynthia’s bigger brother said go inside because it’s getting late. We said so what? He said that there neighbors already called the cops. We ran in as soon as we heard that. We went back in the garage and Jerico was break dancing against a girl named Piper. I think Piper won by a lot. I went up to Jerico just to laugh.

Latter The party was starting to get a lot of fights because the cool guy had a lighter. The whole room was full of gas. Well it was in the air but we couldn’t see it. Then he almost got kicked out by Cynthia’s brother’s girlfriend because she was suppose to watch the garage area. After a hour or two Cynthia went to her kitchen and got her candy so she could throw. When she got it she screamed “EVERYONE THAT WANT’S CANDY GO IN THE GARAGE.” I ran in but then kind of thought Nah, I don’t want candy. We got in there and she threw a lot of candy, but for 20 people it wasn’t much. Then when everyone was done getting the candy the people that wanted to, went to go dance again. Cynthia said turn the lights on. Then a guy named Adrian went to go turn it off. When he got back he slammed me against her garage door and then pick me up and slammed me on the table. I felt six bones in my legs crack. Cynthia got worried so she ran speed to the lights. When everyone was around me I felt some tears in my eyes. Then Cynthia was really close to kicking Adrian out. She said “Sorry for all of this happening.” I said It’s fine.” James said follow him, so I did. I could hardly walk so Everth and Marcos helped me. He brought me to the kitchen and he said I should sit for a bit. I sat and he got me some ice cold water. In ten minutes or so, James parents were there and asked me if I knew where he was. The whole day was boring but I’m glad I came to a friends party.

Iceland And Alan



Today in class we Skyped Alan. Alan is a person that went with Mr. Crosby to China. Mr. Crosby had us Skype him and take notes. Alan is staying near Selfoss, Iceland. He is in Iceland because his friend asked him to watch the house while he was gone. His friend had an Icelandic sheep dog named Skina. She looked more like a fox to me. The dog is trained to bark at sheep. When it sees water and horses are by her, she jumps on a horses back and waits for the horse to walk across the river, the horses there are very short. The sun usually doesn't come up in January. Most of the heat in the area he lives in come from the 65 degrees water. They have money like us, but their money is called kroner. They have money that is less then a penny here. 5000 kroner there, is only $50’s here. The kroner has sharks and crabs on the front and back of the coin. There is a place in Iceland called “Geyser.” The reason it’s called Geyser is there are many geysers in that area. They blow steem every 20 seconds or so. Alan said the people in Iceland speak Icelandic. Takk means thank you, Skal means cheers, Foss means waterfall. Alan said that there are way to many waterfalls to count. If there is a fast food area like McDonald's and Jack-In-The-Box, it would be in the capitol city, that’s what Alan told us if I remember right. Most of the people there drive a pickup truck or a four wheel drive. They drive the same way as we do to. The holiday they spend together is Christmas not Thanks Giving or Halloween. When the other family gets back they are going to make him rain deer stew. Most of our class went “Ewww,” I did to but I would try it out. He’s going to make them turkey or chicken I think. They only have two channels. Alan said that one channel spoke Icelandic and the other one English. A lot of people think that Iceland is freezing but it’s not as cold as people think. When we Skyped Alan he said that while he was there it rained more then snowed so far, they don’t get much snow. It rained 2/3 of the time he was there. He would wake up see it rain. Before going to sleep he would see rain. Most kids there are into games, hanging out in the hot springs and horse riding. They also play Rugby. Rugby is almost like football but not the same. Sometimes Alan is over there and he is very bored because he has nothing to do but listen to the American radio. He has never rode a horse in Iceland yet. The family keep the horse in the mountains while it’s summer. He can see the horse through a binocular and count to see if all the horse are there. Alan goes shopping every week. He sees some food that looked really weird. He also sees some food and has no idea what it is. A lot of people in Iceland like to eat dry shark meat. Alan likes to listen to rock and roll. The toilets there are almost the same as here. When the family comes home they are going to have a small party. The connection was good while we Skyped him and the picture was to. Nothing went bad while we Skyped him. He’s also going to bring us some coins.

“Go to bed hon.” “Ok mom, good night.” Was it just a dream? I can never tell.

“Ho, ho, ho!” I woke up. Santa was here but I wasn't sure why he was. He appeared right in front of me and looked kind of sad.

I asked him what was wrong? He said that Cupid was too sick and no one else wanted to take his place. “I need eight reindeer but I only have seven.” Cried Santa. ”So why did you come to me Santa,” I asked?

“I was wondering if you wanted to be my eighth reindeer and save Christmas.” Explained Santa “Of course I would go Santa, Christmas is my favorite holiday!” “Except I don’t know how I could help.” I said “Come with me back to the North Pole.” Yelled Santa

“Ok” I said. “That's the spirit I like to see” said Santa. Well lets go back to the North Pole and get you ready.” “But here's the problem Santa. I can’t leave my house. If my mom wakes up I’m in trouble.” “If, she wakes up.” Santa winked. Santa made a magic portal and he told me to jump in. I started to get worried. I swallowed real hard and ran through.

We ended up at the North Pole just like he said. We went inside and I saw hundreds and hundreds of elves. They brought me to meet my companions. The other reindeer were my new companions, and there were seven like Santa Claus had said.

I went to the kitchen and I saw Misses. Claus. I said hi. She asked “Umm, you are?” “I’m going to be the reindeer for Santa, he only has seven but needs eight.” I explained. “Oh, yay for you then! “Would you care for a cookie?” Yes please.” I ate the cookie and I started to feel kind of weird in my body.

I felt stronger and faster and also heavier. I started to grow hooves and they were very strong. The other reindeer laughed and laughed. “What’s so funny?” I yelled. “You look like you are in pain loser.” Then all of them laughed again.

Santa came out and yelled “Stop fooling around, we need to start heading out!” Then all the elves cheered and they gave Santa a big boost because he was fat. “My legs are tired already.” I said while I panted like a dog “You will get use to it.” Shouted the reindeer behind me. “I hope your right.” My legs were burning and my hooves were worn out. I thought that I was going to die. The worst part is that we just started. The reindeer next to me was so annoying, I felt like if I was next to Marcos I would die.

“What you looking at?” Questioned Marcos. “None of your business, Marcos.” I said. Santa saw the first house and he said “down reindeer.” Marcos tried to flip me over by doing a front flip but I did a back flip and Santa fell in the chimney. “Oh No.” “It’s all your fault, you new reindeer.” “You don’t know what to do.” Hey at least I came.” I yelled at that reindeer at the top of my lungs. I thought in my head what a stubborn reindeer.

Santa came out very quite and he said “stand on the roof for a bit.” They all flew up there so I followed them. I started to fall. “Help!” I screamed. All of the reindeer started to pull me back up. “Wow thanks guys.” “How do you stand on this roof?” “It’s so pointy and if I try to sit on it or stand it hurts.” I whined Learn how rook.” said Marcos

Santa finished his work and we started going to the other houses. When we were done Santa brought me back to the North pole and gave me another present. The reindeer still didn't like me but they said bye and Santa made me another portal.

I went through and I felt like I just woke up. It was morning. I went to our christmas tree and saw another present for me. It said, “thank you little boy, your courage and strength is very strong.” “I also appreciate your teamwork and your help.” Thank you once again, take this present as a christmas gift and have fun with it.” “From Santa.” “You like your presents?” Asked my mom. Yeah, a lot actually, my dream was pretty cool too.

“Next year your going to middle school and that's it.” Aww man, that’s lame.”

Elementary was fun for all six years. I enjoyed the easy homework and getting to use laptops with all my friends. I might actually miss the food too. The lunch lady is always nice to me because I know her good. Sometimes she even lets me eat free without paying. The lunch here is $2.50. Next year i’m guessing that it’s going to be $2.75 because the year before this year it was $2.25. In middle school I think the lunches are very pricey. I’m also going to have to move a lot while in school because I have more then one class and they are going to be very hard. I wonder what classes I’m going to pick are? What are the teachers going to be like? I might like them or not, I will never know until the time comes.

Today in Vietnam I went to go eat fresh seafood. The food their is more fresh because they cook it right in front of you so it's not minutes hours old.

I also went to a pound with my family and found fish and brought them home so my parents can eat them. I am not a big fan of eating fish. Today we are going out to eat seafood pizza. It sounds weird to me but I will try it. P.S I do not have spell check so I tried to correct it my best.

Today is Feb, 25. I want to go out and see the many wonderful things. The last time I went out, we went to go and eat lots of seafood. Today is March,15th. That's a Sunday so that means I'm going back!! I am going to miss all the food and all the fun i had here, I wanted to stay longer. The most fun i had while I was there was playing with my cousins (sisters now).

It seems like I've been here for only a day. The most important thing that might have change my life was, my mom got married. I was very happy for her all tho the wedding in Vietnam is quite different from here. I can't really explain it but I know the differences.

I'm going to really miss playing here with all my cousins.

3/17/09. Today we Skyped with Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the beginning our class started off first with our presentation. My group was third to go up. I was wondering if the other two groups before mine were nervous. I was kinda nervous but thinking I had a partner was making it easier on me. After my groups presentation I went back to the chair and watch the other three groups do there's. When our class was done, the other school (Goethe Schule) (Schule means school in German) ask us many questions, but they were kinda being silly. We replied many questions then we started to ask questions. My partner Luis asked them a question. They replied and then replied with a question again. I couldn’t understand what they were saying because they spoke Spanish. The languages they speak are English, Spanish and German. I didn’t think they spoke English to good because when we asked a question they looked at there teacher and she explained what we asked or said. While they were asking us questions in Spanish, Miguel replied a lot of them because his Spanish is fluent. While someone in our class was about to ask a question they all started to say bye. So we said bye back. The experience I got with Argentina was fun and hard but very confusing.

“Hey watcha doing?” Meowed John. James the other cat answered back. They started to talk and then they became friends. While they were talking a very strange sound filled the room. They stood there wondering if they should hide or stand still. The noise was getting louder and they got more scared every second.

They panicked and ran to a room that was very dark. Trying to stay quite James ran off. John didn’t know what to do, so he stood there scared. He heard fast foot movement coming up the stairs. He finally decided to run and hide behind a counter. John peeked through the little hole and .... James came back for him!! John ran up and gave him a cat high five.

The noise was still there. They had each others back so they weren't as scared. They followed the stairs into another room. Peeking with one eye they saw a giant screen. A man was coming up to them. They stood still. The man picked them up and brought them to the sofa. While three of them were on the sofa they realized that they were at home. Meowing and purring with excitement, the man look at them while petting them.

3/17/09, we Skyped another class today but were they lived was in a different area. The area was Nelson, New Zealand. There school name is Applby School.

When we first started Mr. Crosby started to introduce us, but we had fee back. It was very loud at the beginning but Mr. Crosby fix it a bit. Our class started with our presentations again. Then we sung our song “Home Means Nevada.” When we were done they had a song to sing to us, it was very nice.

The first language that they sang it in was Maori, I never heard of that language till today. When they were done singing it in Maori they sang it in English. It sounded really good and I liked it. The screen was a bit blurry but I was fine with that.

Then they had lots and lots of questions to ask. We responded, then our school principle Ms, Dicky asked them a question. One of they questions they asked us was how many people live in Nevada. The other one I remember was, how many people live in America. Nevada has 3 million people living here at the moment, America has over 300 million people living here total. They have 42,000 people living in New Zealand. I thought that they would have more people but I was wrong. They had many more questions but I didn’t remember what they were. We Skyped twice in one day, that was very new to me. I love Skypeing but it was very difficult.

The Spectacular thing about Pluto is, it is made from stone/rock and frozen ice. It is 3,666,000,000 miles away from the beautiful Sun. One day on Pluto is 6 days and 9 hours on Earth. Brilliant “Venetia Phair" suggested the name for Pluto. Pluto became a Dwarf planet when it was August 24, 2006. But the spectacular thing about Pluto is, it is made from rock and ice.

One sunny morning I felt a breeze come in my room. I woke up and headed down stairs. I saw my parents and they said that they were going to make a feast. “Woohoo” I said with excitement, knowing what they were going to make made my mouth watery. “It’s not the kind of feast your use to, your going to have to get the food and we’ll cook it.” “WHAT!!!!” “I’ve never done that before” I yelled to them. They gave me a basket and asked “do you know what to do?” “Not really” I answered.

They brought me to the area and told me in that pound is what your going to fish up. “It’s so dirty” I said. “That’s why they live there” they responded. They said it’s a different kind of fishing, one that you do with your hands. They said I had to go n the water and catch them with a basket and my hands. “EWWWW” was my reaction. I new I had to do it so I walked in the filthy polluted water with a basket in my hand. Moving around slowly a felt a fish by my thigh.

Grabbing it with one arm, It slipped away from me and I fell! My parents were laughing. Looking under water for fish was much easier but hard to see at the same time. “I see a fish!” “I think it’s a cat fish” I yelled. I was running out of breath so I had to go up. When I went up I felt like I had extra weight on my head. Patting my head I felt slime and scales.

Reaching for it for the last time, I grasped it and held it tight. Looking away from it, it stopped squirming. I stepped out of the water and stood on a dry area. I went home with the first cat fish in my hand. Knowing I tried my best I got one.

The stunning moon is very far away from us, near 238855 miles away. It has oxygen like Earth, also has gravity but not much. This stunning moon has eight phases, they all look different and spectacular. The moon is made out of rock and soil. but the stunning thing about the moon is, it is 238855 miles away from us.

“Get ready class, were going to begin now.” Was Mr. Crosby’s (our teacher) response. “HIIIIIIIII!!!” They yelled with excitement. We were Skypeing Mrs. Brown’s class, they are in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. There school name is “Haultain Community School.” I think it’s a great name for them. There area “Haultain” is in a book my class is reading right now, it’s a great book. The name is “Owls In The Family.”

We first started with our classes presentation. My part said “Climate: We are a high desert that is very dry, it is hot in the summer and cold in the winter.” I don’t know why but even with the news microphone in my face I thought it was very easy. Maybe be because I have done enough Skypeing with other schools and areas I’m use to it.

There weather is +1*c, that equals 33 degrees F. There mascot is a hawk, they said something about a dog but I couldn’t hear it. After our Skype they came to me. “Hi Paul, may we interview you?” “Yes you may.” I said. They asked me many questions. On my part I did “OK” with answering the questions. But they asked me a question and I got tong tied. “Ummm, uhhh” is what I said for about five seconds. This day was spectacular and very fun.

Will Richardson started first. “My family are all vegetarians for a positive reason.” I wasn’t sure what he met yet until he said, “Do you know how much water it takes to get a pound of meat?” My guess was 500 gallons. I was the closest one in the class. It takes 2,500 gallons of water to get a pound of meat. I now understood why he said that now.

In his family there is him, his 8 year old son, 11 year old daughter and his wife. He then asked us a odd question. “How much poop do you think animals make in a second?” The answer was 87,000 poop per a second. When we grow corn most of it (95%) goes to animals. He eats many kinds of food like vegetables, mexican food, thai food, and all kinds of chinese food but no meat.

He said once in a while he craves for a steak but he never ate meat for 8 years already. Im kind of sure I could go for a week without meat but anymore ill become a psycho. I think Will Richardson is a good guy. He speaks swedish and english. Swedish comes from Sweden. Today was a weird but fun experience.

Planet Mars is a very good planet to study. I learned that it’s red because there’s iron in the rocks rust. I also learned that the ground on Mars is made from rock and iron oxides.

There are many kinds of gases on Mars including carbon dioxide and nitrogen. Mars has a very thin atmosphere, due to the low gravity and cosmic radiation hitting Mars and wiping out the atmosphere. Temperatures on Mars are very cold. It’s -81 degrees Fahrenheit, -63 degrees Celsius. That is cold enough to freeze us! Another interesting fact on Mars is, the average wind on Mars lies between 15-17 km/h.

There are dust devils on Mars. They are brown-red sand twirling faster than 30 miles per a second. (70 miles per hour.) There are three volcanoes on Mars, Olympus Mons, Ascraeus Mons, Arsia Mons. Olympus Mons is a very huge volcano over 16 miles high!! It is the highest volcano in the solar system. Ascraeus Mons is 460 km in diameters. Arsia Mons is 2 miles high and 72 miles wide.

Then there is Valles Marineris. It is 2,500 miles long and up to 4 miles deep! This canyon is very big!! The last thing I learned about Mars is that there were about 5 spaceships or landers that went to Mars. There names are Viking, Mariner, Phoenix lander, Pathfinder, Mariner 4. I don’t know when they went up there but I do know the names of them. Learning about planets like Mars is very fun.

Her job on Mars looks very fun, it also looks enjoyable. The colors that were in the picture were very nice. All the colors went great with it and the rovers looked funny.

The pictures that were taken, I would say that a pro photographer took those because they are very detailed with colors and it’s in the right area to do it. (Take the picture as in “do it.”)

Sojourner’s ideas have helped us long ways, because she did this we now have information about what's on Mars. We also now know that what it looks like on Mars.

We started talking about when the news crew was going to come. Mr. Crosby asked told us that Miguel and Gissel had to go and get the news crew. When they got back Mr. Crosby started to talk to Tom. Paul Went around and took pictures of people. He took pictures of me and Everth because he asked weird questions. Then they interviewed Mr., Crosby and he told them what we were doing. When they were done with Mr. Crosby’s interview they interviewed Everth. Everth was saying (like) a lot but I think that they didn't care. When they left I took notes. It was fun today.

Today I’m going to talk about Breakdancing, C walking, Tutting, Popping. They are all dancing moves but all have different movements.

Break dancing is style and power moves. If you are both you are a carnovore. Flare and Windmill are a example for being a power head. Style top rock and try to dis the other person.

C walking is lots of foot work. There are many moves to C walking. There is the X and the V for example. C walking is not related to breaking.

Tutting is my favorite. It’s hand movement. There aren't really any names for tutting but I still like it. This is related to breaking

Popping is the one you might see the most. Popping is doing waves with your arms, legs, body, sometimes even with your head. Popping is also related to breaking.

I started doing all of this about 1 month ago. They looked so cool so I practice and practice. I’m not a pro but I can do all of these. Strength and flexability in arms, legs, and head is needed to do most of this.

“NEPTRON=http://!!” Yelled Glitrex. “Sorry I guess we went to the wrong area, but we can still try and go find the restaurant if you want.” I said. “(Sigh) Guess we still can.” Whispered Glitrex. We flew for minutes but we didn’t speak. “I think that's it Glitrex, were here.” We flew in and there was a huge line. “Hmm guess they sell rock tacos” said Glitrex. “Guess so.” We waited till we could order. We ate and flew back to Glitrex’s home. It was a long day but fun.

“This is me, Neptron. I’m waking up and boy i’m tired. I’m going to take a shower.”

I feel refreshed from that shower. Man i’m so hungry, maybe I should go to Glitrex’s house and we will go out and eat. Hmm that sounds good. Although that might take a while because I live on Neptune. Glitrex lives on Venus. Oh well time for a adventure.

“He redecorated the cave.” I whispered to my self. It says “Anime” on the side walls. I’m not sure what that means but O.K. Wow he really made his house different. Before it was really bright with pink and purple colors, but now it’s dark. “Glitrex you there?” “Yeah hey Neptron.” “Sup Glitrex, wanna go out and eat somewhere? I replied” “sure but where?” Questioned Glitrex “I heard that there’s a new Mexican restaurant around here, wanna go try it out?” I asked “Sure man lets go.” Said Glitrex.

We flew and flew for hours. “”Where is that place your talking about Neptron? We been searching for hours.” I could see that Glitrex was annoyed from the heat on Venus. “Were almost there Glitrex just a bit more.” I took a few steps and spotted a big building. We flew fast as lighting until we were by the building. “OK were here now lets go in and eat.” When we walked in it was just a deserted building. It was the wrong area. “NEPTRON=http://!!!”

Today we Skyped a new class. They are doing a project. They want to visit all 50 states before school ends. We showed our presentation. They asked some questions about it. Then they asked questions about our Reno Bike Project. Mr. Crosby answered those questions. When they were done asking that, they asked more questions. Some questions were, are there any famous people in Nevada? What is Nevada famous for? Mr. Crosby asked people if they could answer the questions. Today's Skype was about 5 minutes. The camera mans name was Jeff.

It all started with drawing in my other half. Mr. Crosby took a picture of me and cut it in half. Then I had to draw in the other half. We also had to write down facts about ourselves.

The next thing was blogging. That was the biggest improvement I made over years. One day Mr. Crosby was called down to the office. The people in the office told Mr. Crosby that we had a student in our class that we would never see. Mr. Crosby asked why we would never see her. They said because she had cancer. Then one day Renown Hospital gave Celest (girl with cancer) a desktop. We almost Skyped her everyday.

The next thing was Grace Corrigan coming to our class. She is the mother of Christa McCauliffe. Christa McCauliffe was suppose to be the first teacher to go to space.

The next thing is making a class wiki page. That was really important because all our links are added to that page. The next thing was working with another class from South Paris. We call her Ms. Parisi because that's what her name says on her blog.

The next event was talking about internet safety. We watched the video a lot because our teachers wanted us to get the point. I think the main thing we did was a project called (Around The World With 80 Schools.) The reason it was called that was a person in our school wanted us to participate in it and she/he named it that. We Skyped New Zealand, China, Argentina, Thailand, Canada, Florida, Wisconsin. These three years in Mr. Crosby's class has been a blast.

July 4th

July 4th was a great day for me.  I went out with my friends and me. We had a blast watching the fireworks. They looked spectacular. While we were watching we told jokes. WE just wanted to have a good time. Witch we did :)
