Being Included

Being included makes my life very happy because I could join in games and they don’t yell at me. I will feel very sad and left out because I will not play with anybody. One day the bell rang to go out to recess and I and was going to my friends, but when I went they all started talking. When they were done talking they looked at me and they started running. I felt left out and lonely. Then I turned around and went somewhere else. I saw them coming .They didn't say sorry. So I didn’t want to play with them anymore because they only ran away from me. Sometimes my family makes me happy and sometimes my friends make me happy and all the time I want to be a very happy person!

The New Girl

We are doing this to help Celts and her family because Celeste has Cancer and she can’t come to school so Mr. Crosby and us are helping her by being Included because she hasn't been Included because she has cancer. (Leukemia) So she could see us and hear us and hear us too. It works by Skyp, web cam, modem, Internet and a computer. When I first saw her I was so shy,excited and very happy. I felt very happy it was my first time doing this. At first she she was going to be different but when I first saw her I said she was going to be a very nice person I felt like she was my friend because she was specaial and Included. I feel like she is in my classroom already. Everything was ok the sound was ok and the seeing ok. It was perfect. I really fell sad for her because she has cancer.

THE DAY I WENT TO THE FAIR









One day my mom said if we want to go to the fair i said “ yes.” So my mom said to get ready. So I “ did.” When I went to the room i went to the bathroom got a brush and started to brush my hair. I only did a pony tail. Then i went running to my mom to say that i am ready. I told her she said ok but where is your brother. Nobody new where he was so i went looking for him outside i found him! He was at the park. I told him to come home. So he went. When he got there my mom told him that we are going to the fair. When we got there my mom was in line to get the tickets. When it was her turn she told the lady she wanted 30 tickets so the lady gave my mom 30 tickets Then i really wanted to go to a ride so i ask my mom if i could go to a ride she said yes she gave 3 tickets. I said thank you and then i left. I went in i thought it would be very scary. The ride only lasted for 2 minutes. Then the ride started spinning I hold on very tight the ride started spinning faster and faster. I couldn't hold it so i started to scream AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH. Then suddenly it stop it was 2 minuets i got of quick. Then i went running to my mom and ask her for 3 more tickets she gave me 3 tickets then i left

THE DAY I WENT TO A PARTY





One day me and my mom were going to a party I was very very happy because I was board at my house and I wanted to have some fun. So my mom said to take a shower. I said ok so I went running to the bathroom close the door and took a shower. When she was done I got my clothes and put it on. When I was done changing I got my socks and shoe’s and put then on. I went to my room and got the brush to brush my hair. After I told my mom that I was ready she said ok. So she said to go to the car and wait for her. I only waited for 2 minutes. Her mom came to the car and said that we are leaving. I was very happy my mom turned on the car

and started to drive. My mom said that we are almost there. When we there there were balloons. We got in it was cool. Then they ask me if I’m hungry I said “ yes.” So they gave me chicken with rice and beans. I sat on the chair and started eating., It was good. When I was done I said thank you to the lady. When I was done I went to go play with my friends that came to the party too. Then it started to get dark so I went inside. When I went inside it was time to cut the delicious cake The cake was very pretty the colors were yellow and pink with the picture of a heart. Then we sang the happy birthday song. After we cut the cake they gave me some cake it was very good mm mm mm. We went to brake the pinata the pinata was very pretty it was the same thing as the cake. Then we broke the pinata it had lots of candy i got a lot.

THE CONFLICT MANGER



One day Mr. Crosby said that we are almost going to recess so we better hurry up and finish our math. We only have 5 minutes to finish our math. When it was 5 minutes the bell rang. Mr. Crosby said that we are excused. Everyone left but I didn’t because I was conflict manger. I needed to put on my conflict manger shirt because people could see that i’m conflict manger. After I went outside and started looking if there’s trouble. When i looked at my left i saw 2 kids fighting. I went running to stop them. When I talked to them I told then to say sorry to each other and not play with each other so they both said sorry and left. But then it was time to eat lunch. When I looked I didn’t saw the 4 graders the 6 graders were there=http://! ohhhhhhhh nooooo. But the good thing is that know some 6 graders when I saw her I told her if I could sit by her she said “ yes.” I got in line with her. Then it was my turn to get some food so I grabbed a tray to put my food. I got a milk and some chicken nuggets. Then I gave my card to the lunch lady.

GRACES VISIT

My favorite part was when Grace Corrigan came to our class and told us a little bit about Christa. Grace Corrigan was very nice she didn’t yell at us or get mad she was very nice. Mr. Crosby asked her if he could use Skype because there were some people in Virginia that wanted to ask her questions. She said that it’s ok if they ask questions. ( Skype is software that lets you hear and talk around the world.) When Grace was in our class I really felt very excited and happy because I had never done this before. Grace was Christa’s McAuliffe mom. Christa is a teacher that tried to go to space. Some of us asked questions to Grace. The people in Virginia were asking lots of questions too! When we were all done Mr. Crosby asked if we could all take a class picture. She said it was a great idea so all of us took a picture. We are the luckiest class in 4th grade!!!!

New York

I really want to go to New York because I have never been there. I want to go and see the Statue of Liberty because I have never seen it before. I want to go see places in New York that I haven’t seen. I want to go in the Statue of Liberty because you can see everything in New York. I have only seen the Statue of Liberty on TV. When I see it in TV I always imagine going there. It looks very fun. I want to see some rivers because they look very cool. My mom tells me it’s great. If one day I go to New York the first thing I will do is go to the Statue of Liberty. Sometimes I want to live there, but my mom says no because she doesn't really like New York. If one day I go, it will be the happiest day of my life.

CAMERA CREW





When we came in our classroom a Camera Crew had put up lights to make our class brighter. When they came they were walking around the classroom with cameras and other things. They had a big camera, lights, wires and microphones. They were interviewing people because they wanted to know how we used Skype. When we were using our laptops they were watching how we use them and what we do. There was a man that was responsible to take the video. The man video taped Google Earth, Skype, Mr. Crosby, computers and students. Another man was using the microphone to record sound. The last man was asking questions. He was the director. When they were done in our classroom they went to Celest’s house to video tape. The most interesting things were how they filmed us using Google Earth and the sound.

HALLOWEEN

When it was Halloween I dressed up like a devil with black shoes and red ears. I went trick or treating by the school. We only got 1 or 2 pieces of candy from some homes and sometimes a hand full. I didn’t like it because it was cold and we only got a little bit of candy. We celebrate Halloween because it is fun and we get lots candy (even though I got 1 or 2 pieces of candy). I really like it but there weren't so many houses decorated. There was one house that was scary. We went in and there was somebody screaming. When she jumped out I screamed, I didn’t even grab any candy. So I went somewhere else. I went trick or treating with my friend named Brenda. She was scary she had blood on her sides and she had a piercing in her chin and by her eyes. The most special thing was getting lots of CANDY=http://!!!. I sometimes felt excited to get candy but sometimes I wished I was home because it is so cold. When we got lots of candy we went home and trick or treated at our apartments. We got even more candy! It was even better than those houses. After we were done I went to my house to go to sleep. It was around 9:00pm and it was time to go to bed. But the next day I ate my CANDY=http://!.

One day Mr. Crosby told us that we were going to watch some video from the 8th graders in Silver Springs, Maryland and tell then which video we like the best. So Mr. Crosby went to Skype to answer their questions. When we saw them on the computer we started telling them which video we liked. When we were done asking them questions they started asking us about which one we like. I raised my hand and I told them that I liked BONGO. It was about 3 balloons that didn’t like each other. The bad thing was that the Skype image sometimes froze and we couldn’t see them that well. But it was still fun. We also asked them how they made the videos. When we were done we said bye and Mr. Crosby shut Skype down.

THE DAY IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY

When it was my birthday my Mom made me a party. I was very happy because they were going to make me a party. When my brother and Mom went to the store they bought balloons, candy, plates and my cake. When they came back they organized the living room. When my Mom was done fixing the living room she ordered pizza to eat. When everything was done my Mom told me to come in because I was in the room. When I came in the house it was very cool. I asked my Mom if my friends could come. She said yes. I was even more happy. When it was time for my cake I went running because I wanted to taste my cake and see my cake. My Mom turn on the candles to make a wish. When I blew the candles they made me put my face in the cake. I had to clean my face but first my mom had to take me a picture. When I was done cleaning my face we got to play games. We played Freeze Tag, Hide And Go Seek, Musical Chairs and other games. My friends mostly won I only won 2 games. When we were done with the games it was time to hit the piñata. I went first then my friends. My brother broke the piñata. After we were done it was time to open the presents. I first opened my mom’s present then I opened my friends presents. My mom got me a Leapster. When I was done with my presents everyone went home. I got lots of candy and presents. But the next day I had to clean up the mess. That’s why I don’t really like Party's=http://!.

THANKSGIVING FEAST

Today our class C-5 had a feast because we are learning about how the Pilgrims ate. I think that we are going to have a great feast because we are going to eat turkey and other good foods. The turkey smelled funny because from close it smells bad and from far away it smells good. The color of the turkey was brownish and orangeish. It had green spices on the turkey. It also had like little black spots. It almost looked like a big chicken. It takes a while to cook the turkey because it’s very big. It is kind of easy cooking a turkey but sometimes it’s hard. I would probably like eating the pumpkin pie because I’ve tasted it before. I also liked the corn and the cranberries. I don’t think I would like the duck because I have never tasted it. I think that I am not going to like the venison because I think it’s nasty. But my Mom thinks it good because when she was a kid she use to eat it all the time. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is we eat lots of good food. We took a picture outside with the turkey but it was very cold. When we started the feast I ate turkey, cod, bread, salmon and cranberries. I didn’t like the venison. The ginger ale was good,s it was my first time drinking it. At last we ate the pumpkin pie it was very sweet. I got very full.

MY BEST GIFT

When it was almost Christmas I told my Mom what I wanted for Christmas. I wanted Nintendo Wii, my own camera and more things. I was very excited because I thought she was going to buy me those things. When we went to the store I told my mom what I wanted because she doesn't know. When it was Christmas Eve I only opened 7 presents because I wanted to open my present on Christmas too. When it was Christmas my mom bought me lots of presents. I had like 15 presents. My Mom made tamales and punch. They were all very good. When it 12:00 pm it was time to open my presents. I was very sleepy and excited. When I opened my presents I got a Camera, cloths and lots of more things. But I didn’t get a Nintendo Wii. I also wanted a bike. The next day on Christmas I had a big present. I opened, it it was a bike. I really wanted a bike because I didn’t have one. My bike had pink and purple and with stars. It was very cool because I didn’t want one for Christmas I wanted it on my birthday. The next day I am going to ride my bike.

GOING TO WILD ISLAND

Have you gone to Wild Island? Well let me tell you about my good day. It was Saturday and me and my Mom were watching T.V. When we were both bored watching T.V I asked my Mom if she could take us to Wild Island. My Mom said yes. I started screaming and jumping because I really wanted to go. So I went to go get ready very fast. When I was done I asked my Mom if I can invite my friend. She said yes. I got the phone and told her if she wanted to go. She said ok. When we were both ready we went to go pick up my friend. When I called my friend she came very fast like a race car. We both got on the car and drove to Wild Island. It took 30 minuets to get there. When we got there we ran to the rides. My Mom told us that she is going to be waiting for us while we go on the rides. When we got on the ride we first had to put on a floaties. When we were ready we got in. It was very dark there were red dots. I started screaming like a wolf. When we got off we were still like a rock. We went to the next ride it look like a toilet but it was very fun. We went round and round. Then we went to the Kitty Pool. I went to the slides they were very fun. When we tired we went to go buy pizza then take a shower.

BROKEN WINDOW

When the bell rang Mr. Crosby told my classroom that someone broke a window and stole things. He told us that they had only stolen a wire that connects to a camera. I got shocked because they hadn’t stolen our laptops or anything expensive. When we got in we saw broken glass everywhere. My table was pushed to the side. The table next to me was pushed to the side too. Then Mr. Crosby turn on the computer and he showed us the pictures of how it looked when he came in. There were lots of little bits of glass everywhere. They almost looked like pieces of ice. We saw a rock by the table. The table had a little scratch. The blinds were bent. They also stoles other teacher stuff too. If I was the first one in school I would proudly be staring at the window and then go running to tell someone.

MANIAC MAGEE

Have you ever been nice to someone? Well our class read a story about a boy that was very kind. The book is called Maniac Magee. One day Mr. Crosby gave us a book. Then we opened the book and read it. It was about a boy that didn’t have parents because his parents died in a accident. So he had to live with his uncle and aunt. If my parents died I would proudly do is cry and not talk to anyone. But they always use to fight so he ran away. So when he ran away he didn’t eat or drink. He also had to walk the whole time. Then he met a friend her name was Amanda. They were called the Beal’s. So one day Maniac spent the night at her house. He always helps around the house. He sometimes does the dishes without someone asking him. If I was him I would do the same thing. But then he ran away because they were having problems. When he ran away he met two boys there name was Russell and Piper. They were two little kids. They didn’t have any parents nether They told Maniac that they were going to Mexico. Then Maniac thought of something. He told them if he gives then pizza they don’t go to Mexico. They said yes. But he said that they have to go to school. So they never went to Mexico. When we finish the book I thought it was neat. Because Maniac was a kind person. I also learned was respecting people and solving problems. It makes me feel better being a nice person just like Maniac than a mean person. I learned lots of things.

WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

When it was about to be Christmas I asked my Mom if I can have a camera, cloths, shoes, ipod and lots of more. When we went to the store I showed my Mom what I wanted for Christmas. She said it was expensive. So when it was Christmas Eve I had 12 presents, so did my brother. I asked my Mom if I can invite my friends. She said yes. When it was 11:58 pm I was getting ready to open my present. Me and my Mom were counting 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 we were yelling then I opened my presents. I got a camera, cloths and shoes. I got 2 pairs of shoes. I was happy. Then my Mom told me to go to sleep. So I did.

INCLUSION VIDEO

Have you ever done a video? Well our class had a student that couldn’t come to school because she had Cancer. So Mr. Crosby told us that we were going to make a video about her and also how we feel. I was very excited and happy. The next day Mr. Crosby was in the back of the table because he wanted to record students voices. When we were done we started to act but not really just a little. We also video taped our counselor. It was kind of hard because we have to know what to do. It took about five or three days to finish it. When we were about done the hole class took a picture. It was kind of embracing. When we were done with everything Mr. Crosby put it in the internet. When it was in the internet the hole class saw it. It was wonderful. It was also very embracing because everyone in the class went to sleep and Mr. Crosby woke us up. I loved the ending because everyone in the class took a picture.

SNOWY DAY

On one snowy day my brother and I were looking out the window. It was beautiful.

Then all of a sudden I heard a knock at my door. My Mom opened the door. It was my friend. She asked my Mom if I can play outside. She said yes but I have to put on my jacket, gloves, hat, boots and a scarf because it is so cold. When I put everything on I went outside.

It was pretty outside. When we got ready we mad a snowman. It was hard to make a snowman because I couldn’t really make the snowballs round.

My hands were very cold like cold water on my hands. When we finish the snowman we put on a carrot.

It was hard to find little rocks in the snow so my friend brought beans. It was funny.

When we were all done I took a picture and left because we wanted to go sledding. My friend and I found a sledding area by our apartments.

We both went to the top and ended on the ground. We went very fast that my feet's got covered in snow. But when I went 4 times I started to get so cold so I told my friend that I was going home to take a bath.

She also wanted to go home. So me and her went walking all the way home.

GOING TO WILD ISLAND

Have you gone to Wild Island? Well let me tell you about going to Wild Island.

One afternoon my friend and I were getting ready to go to Wild Island. When we were both ready, our moms took us to Wild Island.

When we got there me and her running to the rides. We both went together on one ride. I didn’t want to go to the ride because it looked very scary but my friend really wanted to go so I went. It was very fun because at the end we went very fast like a race car.

When we got off my friend wanted to pick the ride because I picked the first one. She picked a fun ride because it was big and it looked like a toilet.

When we got off me and her were talking about the rides. Me and her had a great time.

Then we were both thirsty we asked our mom if we can have soda. They both said yes. When they gave us the money we went running.

While we were running my friend was about to slip but I grabbed her by the arm.

When we were there we both asked for a soda. When they gave us the soda me and her sat down and talked about our little brothers.

Then we had to leave so me and her through the soda grabbed our towels and left.

When I got home I took a bath.

HOW TO FIX YOUR STORY

Have you ever made a story and had to edit it? Well let me tell you our classes steps.

First we have to proof read it carefully.

Second we have to spell check it really carefully.

Third we fix our mistake by using correct english, we also use our finger in every word and look for capital letters.

Then we rea-read our story just to see if it makes sense.

Sometimes we print it out but not always because sometimes we waste paper.

Usually we read more than once because maybe we still have mistake. When were are about done we usually double space it. We just started paragraphing so it’s kinda new for us. Then when were all done we post it in our blog for everyone can see it. When I wright my stories I fell active and that I did a good job.

GETTING MY IPOD

Have you ever really wanted something and your mom kept on saying no because it costs to much? Well let me tell you my story. On a early Saturday my Mom, my brother and I wanted to go to Best Buy to buy a game. So when we got there my Mom and my brother went to go see the games while I go look around because I didn’t want to go. At first I wanted to see the flat screen t.v. But then I wanted to see the ipod nano. So I went running to go see them. When I got there I saw a pink ipod and it was very cute. So I went running to my Mom to go tell her. When I found her I told her if she could buy me a ipod because she told me that one day she was going to go buy me one.(and she never did) So when I told her she first said that she wanted to go see them first. So I leaded her there. When we got there my Mom said that it costs a lot but there pretty. So when I asked her if I could get it she said yes. When I got home all I wanted to do was listing to music.

GETTING MY HAIR CUT

One day after school my Mom wanted to take me to a hair salon because my hair was very long. So when we got there I didn’t want to cut my hair first. So I asked my brother if he wanted to cut his hair first. He said yes. When he was done it was my turn to cut my hair. So I had to get ready for my hair cut. When they cut my hair my hair was very short. So when I was ready my Mom paid and we left. The next day when I went to school I asked my Mom if she could put my hair up for they can’t tell. So when I went to school no one nodes. But when my hair got mest up I had to pull it down. When I put it down I got embarrassed but all my friends liked it.

WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT SPACE

Today our class is learning about light, the Sun, Alpha Centauri and the sizes of the stars and planets. What I learned about light is that if light bends light can go around the earth in about 1 second.

Also I learned about Alpha Centauri. Alpha Centauri is the closest star to the Earth after the Sun.

Next I learned about the Sun. The Sun is a big round ball of burning gas and it is also a star. If you ever wanted to visit the Sun it will probably be very dangerous.

The last thing I learned is the planets and stars. Our whole class watched a video about planets and stars. It was funny because Pluto goes smaller and smaller. Do you know what's the biggest star? Well I think VV Cephei.

I thought learning space was going to be boring but it is really fun to know. I wish I can learn everything about space because it is very interesting.

ECLIPSE

One cloudy cold afternoon my two friends my Mom and I were standing outside next to our house trying to see the eclipse. When we waited a long time my Mom and my friends wanted to go inside because it was getting cold. So everyone went inside. But later we were going to come outside to see the eclipse.

While we were inside my friends wanted to play games because there was nothing to do. Then after my Mom told us to come outside my friends and I went running very fast because we really wanted to see the eclipse.

When we went outside my friends and I saw a big thing up in the sky. It was like a red orange color. But the bad part was that we didn’t really see it because it was cloudy and cold. But the cool thing was that I saw the eclipse.

SKYPING TO NEW YORK

When I came in class one day I saw 4 people sitting in the back table. I was surprised because I didn’t know what they were going to do. So when we got in, our teacher told us to get out our laptops. When we got our laptops out Mr. Crosby told us that we were going to Skype to students in New York. Me and my partner were so excited because we were going to see my other partner in New York. When we got to Google Docs my partner in New York was there. It was pretty cool. Then this man came to talk to us about how Google Docs work.The bad thing was that me and my partner couldn’t talk to her on Skype only on Google Docs. So that’s what sucked about it. My partners name is Emilee and my partners name on New York is Jazemin and Bridegtte. I really enjoyed this day.

HAWAII

We had just sat down on the school bus that was taking us on our field trip when the bus driver stood up, turned around and in a loud voice said, “ We are not going on the trip you thought we were. Your class has won a trip to a very special place.”

The next thing we knew some kind of gas started to spray from the ceiling and we all fell asleep in our seats. When we woke up hours later we found out we had been taken to Hawaii.

When we got out of the bus we first had to find a Hotel. So when we found a Hotel me and my friend wanted to go outside and explore Hawaii. While we were exploring we found a volcano far away from the Hotel. That volcano already erupted several times so I don’t think that it will erupt again.

After we saw the volcano we went for some dinner, we ate at Raul’s Hawaiian pizza. The pizza was really good. My friend loved the pizza so did I.

When we were done eating my friend and I went exploring. Then while we were exploring my friend and I saw a group dancing with a green skirt that looked like grass. My friend and I started laughing. I asked my friend if she wanted to go she said yes. So me and her went running. When we got there we asked if we could dance with them. They said yes but we first had to go put on a skirt that looked like grass so when they gave us the skirt we put it on and then started practicing. It was very funny because I didn’t even know how to dance. When it was about 6:25 pm my friend and I had to go to the hotel because it was getting late.

When we got to our hotel my friend and I went to our room and started writing about this day. Then after that we got our beds ready and watched TV. The good thing was that the beds were very comfortable.

THE CRAZY BIRD!!!





I was walking home one day when I saw a bird off in the distance flying in my direction. As it got closer I noticed that it didn’t look like any bird I had ever seen. It kept flying towards me and to my amazement it zoomed right up to me and landed softly on my shoulder. I wasn’t sure what to do. I thought it was cool, but it also made me nervous. Then it bent it’s neck to look me straight in the eye and suddenly





he starts poking me in the nose. So when the bird poked me I tried to take him off me but he didn’t want to so I started shaking him off. The bird didn’t want to get off me, so I started running as fast as I can. “The bird was still stuck on me”. Then I told people around the neighborhood that there is a bird stuck on my face, but they stood quiet. So I went to my house and told my Mom there’s a bird on my face. My Mom looked at me like if I was crazy, and I said, “why are you looking at me, there’s a bird on my face.” My Mom said “knock it off.” So my Mom didn’t believe me. So I went quickly to the bathroom looked at the mirror and the bird was still on my face. I said to myself “Why didn’t my Mom see it or the people around the neighborhood. Then I thought and thought until I figured it out. Maybe when people or my parents see the bird it turns invisible and when I see it doesn't turn invisible.

Then I went outside and started telling everyone that there’s a bird on my face it is just invisible. No one didn’t believe me again. When I kept walking I saw lots of birds up in the sky. Then I felt that the bird left my face. I was very happy!! But the bad thing was that my face was red and scratched!

MARSOPOLIS!!!!

May 7, 2008 WE WENT TO MARSOPOLIS!! It was 9:00 am and we were all excited. When we were all in the classroom everyone weighed there food because it had to be 22 oz. We also got a Marsopolis booklet. When we were all ready we lined up with our systems and went right to the bus.





When we arrived at the bus we put our vehicle on the side of the bus. When I put my vehicle away I sat with my friends Alondra and Karla. When we all settled down the bus driver drove us to Marsopolis. My friend and I were excited and nervous at the same time because it was our first time doing Marsopolis.





When we arrived to Marsopolis there was lots and lots of noise. When we all settled down on the floor we heard this man named Mr. Bryant say WELCOME TO MARSOPOLIS!!!! Then all of a sudden everyone starts to scream even one of my friends. Alondra and I covered our ears as hard as we could because people were screaming very loud. But it was funny and embarrassing. (Also It was pretty cool because in my house if I scream very loud my Mom will get me in trouble.) When we were about to leave to meet our partners I thought I will mess up because it was my first time doing Marsopolis. When Mr. Bryant was done talking with every kid everyone went to go meet there partners.





When me and my friend (Alondra) went to go look for our partners we couldn’t even find them because there were lots of kids and we couldn’t see our sign. Finally my friend Alondra found her partners but not mine so she told me that she will help me find my partners. While we were walking me and her thought it was mine but it wasn't. So until we both looked at a corner we saw OMD2. Then I told Alondra this was mine because I was OMD2. When I looked at my partners they were very big. Then Alondra told me that they were very big. When Alondra left I was freaked out, I didn’t know what to do. Then when it was about 3 minutes later everyone got to work. They told me that I was the cutter and sometimes the taper. So when they needed tape or the scisser I had to help them. The bad thing was that I was so embarrassed because I always get shy when I don’t know them and also because they were in High School kids. When we were almost done everyone thought that we did a good job. When I was just sitting there I went to help the other kids with the tunnel. That was very easy. When we were done with that all we had to do was put air and make it big. When we put air in it, it didn’t look like a square, it looked like a shape that doesn't exist!!





When the alarm rang Mr. Bryant called everyone together. So when everyone arrived in the middle of Marsopolis Mr. Bryant said it was time to eat. Then everyone started to scream. When Mr. Bryant said “Go” every kid there went to go get there lunch. So I went running. I saw my lunch and grabbed it and went running to my habitat. When I got there I sat by myself in the corner. I ate a sandwich, chips, fruit and a juice.





When we were done eating. Our team went to go see Rock Videos. It was pretty funny because some of the songs were baby songs. They just changed the wording not the beat or the rhythm. Also they changed the song into facts about Mars.





When it was time to change me and my team grabbed our vehicle (or machine) and went to our habitat. When we got to our habitat it was embarrassing, everyone looked at us like if we were weird. When we were all ready we had to go first. So we did. This boy named Luis had to go first. I had to talk about the Satellite dish and Shape. When we were all done we had to pick someone else from our team.





After everyone was done we went outside and played because we were inside for about 3 hours. So when we went outside we played Telephone. Telephone was pretty boring because all you had to do was say something in the ear and pass it down. But it was okay. Then after we played Telephone about 2 times we played duck duck goose. I think duck duck goose is better than Telephone. So when we started playing I raised my hand and told Mr. Crosby if I can be it. My teacher said “ yes.” So I started, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, goose I quickly tagged Everth and ran as fast as I could. But then he tagged me. Then all of a sudden I heard people saying MUSH, MUSH, MUSH MUSH. (I got embarrassed)





After it was time to go in I saw a lady on the ground calling “911” When I saw the ambulance come I thought she really got hurt. When I got in they were putting the lady in the car.





When we were inside the building all the tunnel tech people made all the habitats together. I thought it looked good. We were all excited!!!! When everyone lined up everyone pushed really bad! When me and my friend got in we thought it looked cool. When we were by the last habitat I ran and all of a sudden BAM!!! I fell on my knees really bad!!! When we were all done going around our habitat me and my friend went to the bathroom. When we arrived at the bathroom they stunk really bad. When we were done me and my friend went to go sit down. Then when me and my friend sat down we saw a boy with a huge bump on his face. Me and my friend felt very bad for him because his teacher had to call the ambulance to take him to the hospital. After that happened the bus came for us and we went home. We were all excited because we went home about 4:30 pm!!!!

A STRANGE DAY



I had nothing to do one day and was really kind of bored, so I went outside and started to walk around the neighborhood. I spotted the friendly dog from next door in his yard playing with a ball. The ball squirted out of his mouth and shot into the street. The dog ran after it just as a car came along and BAM! The car hit the dog. My heart was pounding in my chest as I watched the dog land in the street and the car sped away! I knew I had to do something to help! I ran to the dog and saw that she was still alive and breathing. Her eyes opened and looked up at me. I could tell by the look on her face that she was scared, in pain and wanted help. So I . . .





quickly went to my house, grabbed the phone and dialed “ 911.” I first didn’t want to but I had too. When they answered I told them that a dog had been ran over by a car. They asked me what street. I replied Grove street. They told me that they will be right there. So I quickly hung up and ran to Grove street. When I got there I looked at the dog and the dog was still alive and also breathing. Then all of a sudden I heard the ambulance. I waved my hand so they could see me. When they stopped the car, two people came out of the car. When they took the dog to the vet they asked me if that was my dog. I said “No”.

When I got home I told my Mom that a dog had been ran over and I helped her. My Mom said that I did a very nice job for helping a dog. She also asked me who’s dog was that. I replied I don’t know but I helped.





5 minuets later the Vet called me and said that they had put stitches and they wanted the owner at the Vet. I said that I will try to find them. When I hunged up the phone I picked up my sweater and went around the whole neighborhood. I was pretty sure that it was the people across from me. So I knocked on their door. When they opened the door I asked them if they had a dog. They replied “Yes” I told them that there dog had been ran over and went to the Vet. When I told them they were very shocked. When the owner got to the Vet the dog felt better and he could go home. So they took the dog home. When they got home they told me that I can visit the dog any day I want to.

THINGS I LIKE DOING IN SUMMER!!





Things I like to do in summer is sleep all day and play all day! But the most part I like about summer is going swimming!! Every single day when my Mom gets from work I ask her if she can take me swimming. Sometimes my Mom says no. But most of the time she says yes! The worst part I don’t like going swimming is because we get sun burned and I don’t like that because it get me tanner. Any ways I also want to go to Guatemala to see my family. But my Mom says she doesn’t have money to go there. Also I just can’t wait to go to school because it’s really boring when we don’t do anything. But I thing summer is a really good weather!

GOING TO PYRIMAD LAKE





When my Mom told me that we were going to Pyramid Lake I was so happy because I and my friend were going. When it was time to go we brought candy, chips and other junk. My Mom friends brought other things like chairs and others things we need. When we got there we parked and brought all our things. When everything was done we got in the lake and started swimming. (It was really cold) So when my Mom's friend husband was done getting out the boat me and my friend got on and went really far. It was really scary because we went so far. When we came back it was my brother turn so they got on and we started building sand castles. It was pretty hard building sand castle cause it was to muddy. After we were done we took pictures and pictures of us. When we were all done with the sand castles we went surfing. It was really funny because my friend fell really weird and crazy. After we didn’t want to surf we ate chicken. The chicken was really good. Then we played and went home.

SLEEP OVER

One morning my friends and I were planning to go swimming. So I asked my Mom if my friend and I can go swimming for awhile. She said, “YES.” I went to go tell my friend. Finally, when we were done we both were running to the pool. When I arrived I first touched the water. It was really cold. Then I was about to get in and all of a sudden my friend pushed me in. Later my friend and I got in and started swimming and swimming until we got tired. So we went home and took a shower. After we were done it was about 7 pm. We wondered if we could have a sleep over at my house. BUT, my friend and I had to ask our parents. When I asked my Mom she was about to say NO but, she thought she had to go to work she said YES. All of a sudden I heard a knock at my door. I opened the door and it was my friend. She told me that she could sleep over!!

We went to my friends house to go get her things. When she was about to leave she said bye to her parents and left. Then we arrived at my house we put her things in my room. Then we were both thinking of cake. I asked her if she wanted to bake a cake. She said yes. So we went to my kitchen and got everything we needed. When we finished we put it in the oven. We got all messy while baking so while that was cooking we washed our hands. Then, we went to my room to go do something else. We both had to do our beds so we could sleep in. When we were done we went to go check the cake. We both looked at it and it was done. So we took it out, got the knife and cut the cake. My friend got the plates and the forks. Then we each got a piece and went dashing to the room. My friend and I sat down and watched TV while we were eating the cake. When we were all finished we started doing our hair and other things. When it was 12:30 we both felt sleepy so we brushed our teeth and just watched TV. After that we fell asleep.

Im going to tell you 7 random facts about me. The 1st random thing about me is hanging out with my friends. I think its my special one because we all do fun and crazy things together. My 2nd one is my favorite holiday. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I sometimes get lots of presents. Also because I love to build the Christmas tree with my Mom. What's your favorite holiday???? 3rd random thing I do is blogging. I love to blog and leave comments. It’s usually the best thing I like to do in school. The 4th fact about me is also jump rope. I like to jump rope because it helps me jump higher and it’s fun. I can double-dutch and other things. The 5th thing I like to do is dance. I can dance a little bit but not that good. I usually dance to hip hop, Spanish music, and a little bit of rap and jazz. What type of music do u like??? My 6th random thing like I is animals. I love tigers, dogs, birds and more. Some of them are really cute and nice and some are mean and ugly. Anyway my last random thing I like to do is listen to music. I like to listen hip hop and sometimes other type of music. In my class we have been learning about being safe on the internet. We have learned many things that's are dangerous and dumb. Here are 2 examples about internet safety.





It’s never safe to have your address on the internet. People that don’t get along with you could brake windows, egg your house, graffiti and other bad things. Also they could brake in, and get valuable things. A stranger could find you.





Do you have photos of yourself on any kind of web site??? Well you shouldn’t have photos on any kind of web site. It’s important not to have any pictures on Myspace, Facebook, Bebo or any other type of dangerous site because they could see how you really look in real life. It’s sometimes easier if a stranger now’s how you look. They could maybe kidnap you.

Softball Injury





In our class we saw a video about baseball. The video was mainly about a girl that plays softball. She was in college and she has been playing softball awhile. She has never made a home run in here life. So when she was playing a game she was the batter. When the pitcher hit the ball she made a home run over the fence. When she hit the ball she started running. When she got to first base she went to second base, but she never touched first base so she realized it and went back to touch it.  At that moment she tore her knee ligaments. No one from her team was able to touch her or else she will get disqualified. So two girls from the other team asked permission if they can carry her to the bases. They were amazed that they asked that. But they said yes. When they picked her up I was surprised. I felt really emotional. They put sara’s left foot on the bases. When I saw that tears were about to come out. I thought that was sportsmanship. I enjoyed this video.

Stockton California

The Amazing thing about Stockton California, were I was born is that it is located on the San Joaquin Country. Stockton is the 13th largest city in California. It has several names like ‘Tulebrug’, ‘Gas City’ and ‘Mudville. They have made movies in Stockton like 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, All the Kings’s Men, American Graffiti II and lots more. But the wonderful thing about Stockton California is that I was born there.

In our class we Skyped a class in Buenos Aries, Argentina. We were also going to Skype another class in the afternoon. When we were ready to go Mr. Crosby contacted them. When we were on at first they couldn’t hear us. So Mr. Crosby deiced to exit and then come back. When we tried it again it worked well. We said “hi” and they said “hi” back. They all looked excited. Then our class went first and we did our presentation about Reno, Nevada. At first I was embarrassed but then I got over it. After our class was done with the presentation we sang the chorus of Home Means Nevada. They speak German, Spanish and English. But most of the time they were speaking spanish. When we would say something and they don’t  understand they would ask there teacher and there teacher would tell them what it means. There school name is Goethe school in German is Goethe schule. They are all ten years old.  After a while we asked questions like what's there favorite food or what’s there favorite type of music. There favorite sport is soccer. We were on for a little while more but then they had another class to go to so we said bye.

What im going to do for summer vaction is go

to California to see my uncle for the first time! I don't remember what part of California but somewere close by Stockton. I probably might go for 3 weeks and then go to see my grandfather at Guatemala. Maybe im going to spend the rest of my vaction at Guatemala. Im so excited because I haven't seen my grandpa for a year or my cusins. My Mom and I have been going to mostley every store to buy my family something specail. Also, I want to see my baby cusin. MIDDLE SCHOOL



Middle school has been such a blast so far. It's way different than elementry school. The best part about middle school would probably be having my OWN locker! I get along with my teachers and I met new friends! I havent had time to go on my blog becuase of to much homework or book reports. I got a laptop so I think I am going to be on my blog more often. So far at school we have been doing paragraph and peoms. I can probably say that i'm MUCH better at it. We don't use computers so it's much tireing and harder. I Will write soon! Bye
