The Day I Was a Spider

Article posted November 16, 2007 at 07:35 PM GMT0 • Reads 458

One day I got bit by a spider by a spider. I thought it was just a normal bite but it wasn’t. The next morning, I was a spider. My parents didn’t know it was me, so they tried to kill me. I ran and ran until I saw that I had spinnerets, so I went to the ceiling and I saw some spiders. I said, “Hi” but they didn’t say anything back. So I left, I was trying to find a way outside. I saw that the window was open. I went to the window and I lowered down to the window ledge and I almost got squished. I got to the grass and I ran up a tree and I got hungry. I had to think how do spiders get their food. I remembered that I did a report on spiders in school. School, I forgot that spiders don’t go to school. I had to think what I am going to miss. I also had to think about what I was going to do all day. I think I’m going to go to my school and scare all my teachers. I got to my school, but before I went in I had to think how I was going to get around the school with out getting killed or squished. I decided to go on the ceiling until I got to the class room. Once I got there I would wait until the door opened. Once the door opened crawled into the room I was going to go to the teacher’s desk. Once the teacher was in the right spot I would jump on their head. Some of the teachers would try to kill me with their books. I had to run and get to the ceiling. Once I was done with that I started to mess with the the kids. First I messed with my friends, they didn’t like me, they tried to swat me. I was done with that. I went to mess with principal that was not a good Idea he loves spiders I became his pet. I had to think of a way to get out of there. I found out that he leaves the cage open all the time so when he wasn’t looking I would make a run for It. He would never stop looking at me. Than a kid came in and was in trouble and he left me alone I made a run for it. He saw me and didn’t care. He thought I was just a normal spider not his pet.

I was also thinking about how I was going to make my parents believe that a spider was their kid. Back to the food, I remembered that spiders make webs to get food. It took me a few tries to get it right once I did I waited for a bug to fly in to the web. Once one did I pounced. A person was coming and he killed me, then I woke up like it was a dream. But I knew it wasn’t.
