Jonah ran from God because he didn't want to do what God told him to do. he went to a far place called Tarishish but he had to go on a boat to get there so he went on boat with some people. A big huge storm came because God was mad what Jonah did. the boat was about to sink so Jonah confest that God was mad at him because he tried to run away from God because he didn't want do what God tolled him to do. Jonah felt bad that if he stayed on bored that he would kill every body so he tolled them to throw them into the ocean. they threw Jonah into the ocean and Jonah got eaten by a wail. he didn't die. he prayed to God every day was in the wail. finally the wail spit him out and he did what God tolled him to do.
