Room 11 are well underway with their planning for Term 3. We have spent most of this term thinking about native birds - especially the Kiwi, hence the videos below.
Now we are thinking more local - How can we invite more birds to visit out school? Below you will see the process we have gone through in class.
Enjoy!

We have been working on kiwi animations. You can see us following this process in the suite. First we drew background pictures, then we drew characters (kiwis), then we placed them in Powerpoint and animated them. You will be able to see the finished product soon. Enjoy!

This is the first of our birdwatches. It was not hugely successful. We have since made bird feeders with peanut butter and wild bird seed. You will see the results soon. Stay tuned!

Here are our bird feeders. It was great making them - sticky but great. The birds liked them too but that is another story!

We created amazing bird feeders. We think the birds would love to eat out of them. They have great features.
