Numeracy Blog Working

|
So we have now trialled blogging for a few months and it is great.
Each lesson the pupils are keen to be the one to be in charge of the blog, for that session!
They are more involved in the learning and by writing a blog we have a record of our learning.
This has allowed pupils who are absent to catch up and theose who are keen to take learning home to continue it.

So this term see us looking back in History to the Ancient Egyptians! What will we find out about them?
Where will we get the information about them? We have a couple of pupils who have been to Egypt recently, and they will be able to help us find Egypt and tell us how it has changed since the Ancient times.

So we have a break of two weeks, for Easter.
This term has been so full of fun topics, we have had a great time exploring Ancient Egypt, and then we had a look at how circuits are made in Electricity. This then allowed us to make alarm circuits. Well done all of you, great effort. Mr Bourne

House Teams

|
This year as a school we are going to start having house teams. We are going to have the whole school split into 4 teams. These will be used for sportsday and more importantly every week we will count which house has the most points. The points will be given out every week for good involvement in lessons, and the house captains ( from year 6) will count up the school total to see which team is in the lead!
What do you think?
Comment back here.
